When i try to boot up, the screen goes black or it starts to show artifacts.

I have a LG V20 TMobile, I'll give this beast a try later today. ?
Had to flash boot.img due to it being stick on logo screen. So don't know if it works or not. Any way to verify?

It did this on wiping dalvic cache.... Tried again but this time no wipe. Rebooted fine. But like started earlier I have no means of song if changes incurred. Can you please advise on something I can check to see if it sticked?
Disregard. I checked build.prop and it's in there at the very bottom. Gonna test it out thru out the day and see. Thanks for this!
not recommended to use snake oil mods. android does a great kob on its own handling things. well, nougat does anyway. update os would be a better idea. let android devs handle it
Agreed. Took off.... My speed was so so slow. My micro SD was doing weird stuff as in not showing up then showing up again.

Many of which are old, outdated, never really worked to begin with or are device specific. There are a couple that work no doubt like for removing the adb icon or multi-user but the rest I wouldn't bother with.

It will have modded your build.prop so look for any reference of this mod and remove it.

Have a look in your tmp folder for add_to_buildprop.sh and delete it, if it isn't there I don't know.

A: I recommend using No-frills CPU Control included in the rom and settings
Max. clock freq. = 1.024 GHz
Min. clock freq. = 368 MHz

Q: Are the sound enhancements fully working in this rom
A: short answer absolutely, all the sound enhancements are fully working like Dolby mobile, SRS, and beats audio with and with out headphones :good:
Q: why the signal keep going up & down and it seem very week
A: please use Get Ril App provided in the rom to match Ril with the baseband and you should have the strong and stable signal for both network and wifi :good:
Q: Is the kernel-related wireless hotspot issue fixed?
A: Just checked it and it is working for me :good:
Q: There's an intermittent USB-MODE bug in 1.0 how I'm suppose to transfer files to and from my phone.
A: I'm aware of this and will be releasing an update as soon as I can, in the mean time you should try to use AirDroid app provided in the ROM to transfer files wirlessly. Or if you prefer the old fashioned way of transfer by wire then SD Multi mount " a free app from play store" is working perfectly well.

The story
Many people have heard of Project Butter, but never experienced it. :crying:
Its a name for a fluid system, as fluid as butter, experiencing no lags at all.
I am still a learning scripter, but I would like to share with you all my marvellous experience

This MOD will optimize Single Cored device, utilizing its hardware capabilities to the last drop. For multi-cored devices, it will still run smoothly, because I the utilization applies to ANY DEVICE as long as its ANDROID.
ROM developers are welcome to use this update in their ROM's, as long as you PM me your ROM link and credit me.

It should be working now. Seems that I missed one QC setting.
But it also might be some of the major settings that ran off when I was removing QC. Because things that you don't have in your phone, build.prop should ignore it. Try both. Remember to wipe dalvik and fix permission.

Alright guys, I assume there is a very good explanation for this since it worked on beta testers.
I will find a solution for this. But permission fixing seems the problem. The first time I flashed I was stuck too.
Installed fine on my Sensation running ViperS 1.6.2, but sadly I can't notice any difference. Maybe its because of the tweaks already included or something. What exactly does this mod change?

Some ROM already have certain tweaks installed in it. But its fine if it duplicates.
Try playing with some more hardcore games, and test the battery life. My script enforce on battery life too.

installed fine feels a little better i guess... btw why are there so many versions.. i installed v2.. now there's 2.2 ... if i install v2.2 it will just write the script again to my build.prop... it will not replace it... thats not ideal...

If 2 works for you, then use 2, 2 have a few lines that may crash on some devices so I removed them and created 2.2

If anyone is unsure, NON-Qualcomm will be fine, if you're qualcomm it will be a plus!
Use Qualcomm then. It will boost performance slightly better than nonQC.

Use the root settings in dev settings .. You probably jacked it up with the play store stuff already so remove that stuff enable dev settings and select app and adb under root settings.
I've been running cm11 due to awesome battery life with my Mugen battery.... But after reading through OP and change log by versions I'm really impressed. ! Def if it has o.c. options ,govs and so forth. Feature packed! Welcome $droyd$

That is another reason I am downloading now. For some reason cm11 does not allow me to use g3 volume booster due to mixer path xml issue. So jumping on board the Illusion. Was waiting for someone to integrate faux in both aspects.! Pretty excited

Don't know what I'm doing wrong been flashing for years without issues, I reflashed this skip google login enabled root in dev and apps and adb and then I rebooted went into Playstore and installed superSU which tells me the same thing no root binary installed. Got me

Hey guys, PAC-Roms have made many bug fixes and added new features to 4.4.4 but they never uploaded a build that includes all of these changes. I've decided to compile it myself and share it here on XDA for anybody else who is interested.
I've made A few personal changes to the ROM which i feel improve the overall experience of using it and these are:
-Removed unnecessary apk's (Live wallpapers, Voice dialer, video editor)
-Replaced DSP manager with V4A for improved audio
-Built using -O3 level optimization
-dex optimizations (bigger zip file but better performance)
-Pipe flags (faster compile)
-Adaway
Replaced Trebuchet with Nova launcher
Replaced browser with tint browser
I've also decided to pair this ROM with Overkill kernel made by the Xperience.cyanogeN team for improved battery life, audio quality and performance.

This kernel works with most kitkat ROMs because of the anykernel method. Feel free to try it out.

Asking the real owner thread or ROM is necessary while posting Any of their work. before posting you need to give proper credits. Its not like you unpack a ROM a piece of original work, do minor changes ,repack it and post it here.... Every thing has to complete its own way... So please re edit this post .....

Battery life is great, around 1 percent drain per hour while not in use and performance is about the same. Im using overkill kernel from Xperience.cyanogeN which ill upload soon. Though I don't really believe in them Much I'll post screenshots of some benchmarks in a bit for those that are interested

I'm not sure, you should be able to but will probably get the screen flickering issue.
also i've uploaded the kernel zip but i just realized it has the camera freeze issue, ill need to figure out how to update camera libs to fix it
EDIT: added stock moto camera zip to fix camera freeze
Nice!! Another kk rom everyone is i doing now lp only, like kk would be dead:/ and for me it is still daily driver

Yep, ( I doubt it afects the camera but I also have intelliplug on, double tap/slide to wake =off, 16bit transparency on, a custom list view and a custom theme)

Too many LP ROMs and KK being forgotten, while for me LP brings nothing to the table at the moment with KK being my daily driver.

Okay I have installed the provided kernel and the camera zip also! I have installed the faux sound app also! But the thing is that I cant hear anything while calling! People can hear me or I can just call them! But I cant hear anything! Its dead blank! Help? Even I am getting the network and even data is working!

Yep. You´ve to unlock your BL, flash custom kernel by AndroPlus and flash a recovery in order to flash my rom.

Fingerprint scanner works. You always should backup your TA partition first, so you can restore it later. I'm about to build a kernel with DRM Fix

You should be able to use it in US.
First you have to unlock the BL. Then flash a twrp image and flash this rom. This rom is already rooted. I deleted some useless system apps like spotify etc. but there are some apps left. That's all. Tomorrow I'll upload the second version with some other optimisations and more debloated system. I'm also making a kernel specially for this rom too. My aim is to get more than 90k Antutu score just with optimization.

I tested the alarm app and it worked fine on my phone. Also the LED works well. Does the LED not work only when using messages app or in general?

yeah in case you push the cpu to it's overclocked limit all the time it could be damaged but overclocking would be awesome for dail usage smoothness and maybe multitasking

The cpu is fast enough for daily usage. The only thing is - benchmarks
