Hello and sorry for my bad english. By foolishness, turn off OEM-unlocking when the full custom rom was installed. I panicked and repeated many times flash stock rom with the help of Odin. Now when restoring via Kies or Smart Switch phone writes errors about loss of DRK-key, dm-verify error and other. When i try to flash custom-recovery (because i have twrp-backup) in download mode, phone writes error "Custom binary block by FRP". What can i try to do?

Yes because I'm not sure exactly which ones u can skip ,but not to out of the box just to the latest mm android 6.0 rom and u can frp bypass , let's say it has been done many times but android 6.0 is the easiest to do I cant put were the files are but they are easy to get just Google it , follow the guide and unlock possible basically it adds a Google account and bypass is achieved no matter how many times u flash a firmware frp will come up on activation but find the right files and guide and ur all set but u must do it on the pc , and it must be done correctly after restore or u have to factory reset to do it again or reflash

U will need a aim card also (hint)
flashing the oldest rom from https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ with Odin worked for me. You don't need to flash all the firmwares in reverse order, just the oldest, then FRP unlock using any of the working methods ! Once unlocked you can flash the newest from sammobile

Thanks guys for trying to help, but it looks like you can not hear me. When I'm flash any stock firmware the system does not boot. At the stage of the blue screen and the Android logo, an error appears about the DRK-Key.
I can not boot even in the welcome menu, which would try to turn off the FRP by following the instructions on the Internet

Hi! 2 month after I get S7 edge from ebay. When I turn phone to bootloader I see on screen "FRP LOCK ON". And I just google it how to bypass s7 edge google lock. One video I found.
Step 1. Downgrade to 6.0.1
Step 2. Just watch to video.
Video name is " Bypass Google Account (FRP) Protection on Android on All Samsung S6, S7 edge Android N 7 0"

Hi, I have a honor 8 that bootloops I can only access to fastboot not in bootloader or recovery. Bootloader is locked, i can't flash anything and i can't unlock it because I don't have the Product ID. The dload and three fingers method doesn't work. What can I try to unbrick it? I can't even turn it off.

Which number of firmware you tried via dload??
Which firmware number you were on before issue??
When you say that the dload method doesn't work, what do you get when you try it ? You have to flash the proper firmware for your phone, otherwise it will deny it, you can maybe use a rollback package.
Try the Huawei tool ... U can fix it easily and you can play around don't panic it's the first thing ...

Maybe you are doing it wrong. As long as you have a stock boot.img and a stock recovery you should be able to use this method.

Alright I think this is a good point , now that you can use the dload method you need to know under which EMUI version you were because the phone won't accept a firmware that is lower or to high compared to your actual EMUI version.
What I did when I was in your case is flashing a rollback package downloaded from honor official site and then flash an old EMUI which is under Android 6.x.
After a few tries you can make it, I hope I've been clear, English isn't my native language

Ok here i go ... Open the Huawei tool ... And follow steps to install TWRP ...turn of the phone , once it's off hold the volume button down then connect the phone to the PC that would take to some type of fastboot ! Flash recovery the 2 option .... Reboot into TWRP .. from the Huawei tool u would see and option of stock i think there u can copy the recovery OEM info system and boot option flash them all one by one .... Reboot the phone ... And you would be redirected to recovery from WiFi and now it would work since u flash the OEM info now the phone knows what to look for u won't get the getting info failed ... And that's it just makes sure u have a good stable WiFi connection ...
And like a said the more calm and relax u do these the better the first time I screw the phone I almost get a heart atack :crying: it's easy
Unable to get Product ID - Honor 8

My Honor 8 broke after it downloaded and installed the very first update. Since the failed 'update' I am NOT able to access Android at all. The phone was stuck on the Huawei eRecovery screen which fails to connect via wi-fi and is unable to connect or retrieve any information from the server to update and repair the phone. I was able to use a 'roll-back' package and install the stock firmware (FRD-AL10), but since I have done the roll-back and restored the stock firmware the phone boots to the first screen where you select your 'Region', then the 'Language', WiFi connection, Agree to the Terms & Conditions, then skip the following steps for Cloud and something else - after all this it goes back to the 'REGION' selection screen, then again the Language selection screen and so on - it just loops and never boots into Android.
Thus I am unable to get the Product ID, the unlock code, etc.
The phone is still locked and UNrooted as all the other solutions rely on the phone being UNlocked and Rooted - but since I DON'T have access to Android I cannot do anything with the phone.
Can someone help me to retrieve the Product ID from an essentially 'DEAD' Honor 8 phone??

I have followed this 'dload' process to load the stock 'FRD-AL10 - ...C00B135' onto my Honor 8, it completes successfully then the phone reboots to where I have to select the Region, then Language, then WiFi, then agree to the Agreement, etc.. then the phone 'loops' back to the Region, Language, WiFi, selection and everything from start.
Is there a way to get past this 'loop' to the point where the phone actually boots into Android?? I cannot access the Product ID, unlock or root the phone.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
Hi guys
I need a helping hand.
I have a s7 (G930F fxxu2drb6) with frp lock.
It did not work either realterm, bluetooth, or downgrade (SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 2, BINARY 1 SAMSUNG).
On gsm-hosting they suggested to me to flash the combination file "COMBINATION_FA60_G930FXXU2ARA2_CL7964511_QB165812 9 6_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar.md5".
After the flash I can not yet downgrade (W REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 2, BINARY 1 SAMSUNG), not even flash again "fxxu2drb6" (FAIL RQT_close).
Can someone help me get out of this situation?
Thank you in advance

Hello my friend, i have this problem too. Have you a fix? this security patch for FRP is incredible....
You CAN bypass FRP on later Samsung models using Combination FW. I have succsesfully done this with S8+/G955F, it should work with any device that has compatible Stock/Combinaton FW.. Here are the steps. Download a compatible STOCK ROM, and some similar COMBINATION FW (by similar i mean both FW to be with the same binary and same android version, duh..) Here are some firmware download links, but you can use whatever you want, according to your device.. G930F STOCK ROM/G930F Combination FW
First, using Odin flash the COMBINATION FW to your phone. After flashing is complete and the phone reboots, allow a few minutes for the phone to boot. If it doesn't boot/gets stuck at bootlogo, reboot/boot to recovery and wipe data/cache, and reboot again. MOST IMPORTANT THING! After the phone boots, go to Settings, enable Developer Options if not enabled, enable USB Debugging, and turn the device OFF using Power button. After the device shuts down, enter Download mode, open Odin, place all 4 files in their respective fields (BL,AP,CP,CSC), and here is the SECOND MOST IMPORTANT THING! In the CSC field place the CSC file that starts with HOME/HOME_CSC (There will/should be 2 different CSC files in the FW archive, one starting with CSC, and the other with HOME_CSC). After flashing is complete, allow the phone to boot normally (don't do anything, don't enter recovery/wipe data). If you followed my instructions correctly, after the phone boots, you should be able to finish the initial setup/skip all steps, without requiring any account. Then go to Settings, enable Developer Options, turn OEM Unlock ON, and finally factory reset the device to complete the process and start fresh.
Don't forget to hit THANKS button if this method worked fo you!
ATRAC3, do you have the combination files and firmware for the SAMSUNG S7 SM-G930FD please and thank you for your wonderful tutorial here.
my odin(tried on v3.12.5/v3.12.7/v3.13.1 ) keep failing while flashing HOME_CSC but will success with CSC, and still required to login google account, what is the issue here ? (are we supposed to insert the pit file by ATRAC3 ? )

Hi mate ive used the G930FXXU2DRBE XSA Firmware and also G930FXXU2DRB6 firmware with the G930FXXU2ARA2 combination rom however it will not boot past the samsung logo the nad passes and is provisioned in top left corner and when plugged into the computer comes online with ADB bypass flasher but it just sits there even if i do a cache wipe and factory reset it comes up with a tango console error or something like that when reset then reboots back to samsung logo and when re installing firmware HOME-CSC will fail every time the only thing ive been able to put it down to is that (1) the firmware is FA_70 which is nougat OS and the combination rom is FA_60 MM or (2) my knox warranty bit is tripped and will not allow a samsung factory binary to be run on it, may i ask what would be the difference with the firmware you have listed to the firmware im already using with the combination rom ? Need to sort my imei number out with the factory nad asap dont have access to my TWRP backup for another week and a half, if it helps my device is not FRP locked and is oem unlocked.
Thanks
Matthew
P.S to all those whom have a bit 2 bootloader on S7 all the loopholes have been patched the only way is to use the combination files ive been through absolutely everything and tried everything this new bootloader update is impenetrable i can google unlock samsung S8 and S9 no dramas and with S9 the OEM lock option dissapears for a week if tampered with but still 15 minutes and its done this **** but got me goin loco holmes !!!!! Maybe they figured this out also as there is only bit 1 bootloaders for both the S8 and the S9 however with S8 i found a stock firmware that allows another way to unlock the device without the need to flash any combination rom.
So in short no hope now to unbrick our Samsung S7 SM-G930F/FD or what.....?

If it gets stuck on the console error and wont reboot to download mode then hold the power button volume down button and power button for 40 seconds and it will re boot to download mode for stock firmware re installation in short basically no theres way to remove the FRP unless you can get the combination rom to boot which from what ive seen some will boot the binary but then it also depends if HOME_CSC will flash to keep usb debugging enabled to use adb bypass program im now using the new G930FXXU2ERE2 8.0 OREO so I've given up on the binary 2 nougat FRP unlocking for now might be best to wait a while for someone to receive a factory binary on the nougat or oreo when sent off and returned so it can be dumped and built into a flashable rom until then not much can be done and i may have to wait another week and a half for my EFS backup :'(
We will be waiting from u for the new combination file when out bro, our hope are hinged on u!
No one is coming up with any method about the bootloader binary 2 for the Samsung S7 G930FD...?

i tried to follow many guides on the forum but this happened:
i can't root the phone (because the FRP is locking the Flash),
nor install 6.0.1 (because of the error "sw rev check fail device 2 binary 1")
i can't use bluetooth method to skip setup guide (it was fixed in 6.0.1)
i can't use RealTerm because it can't make me save the number to proceed the guide(also fixed in 6.0.1)
what can i do? how do i bypass the FRP? or how do I downgrade to 6.0.1?
Downgrading can be a problem caused by the bootloader, make sure you try to flash a stock ROM with the same version bootloader as shown with this number
G930FXXU2ERD5
The customer would have had to enter a secondary / recovery email while making that Google account, tell them to check their other email addresses for confirmation emails around the time they set up the phone, then they can find the email address of the google account and reset the password to that email address
You have to downgrade to 6.0 and then there are plenty of ways to unlock.
Download 6.0 and latest firmware.
In Odin
1st and 3rd field from old firmware
2nd and 4th field from new firmware
If You need guide how to unlock from 6.0 let me know

1st and 3rd field in ODIN is Bootloader & Modem
If you flash new firmware to 2nd and 4th you'll end up with new firmware flashed with old bootloader and it won't boot most likely / brick

AP is the system / OS, you're telling OP to flash a new version of Android (AP) with an old bootloader, in order to downgrade to 6.0.1, your method would not downgrade anything other than bootloader & modem and old bootloader with new OS will almost certainly brick
To downgrade you need to flash old bootloader (BL) & old Android 6.0.1 (AP), and probably old modem (CP), CSC is the only thing left
And as already stated, downgrading the BL is the problem that prevents most people from downgrading in the first place

I've been absolutely stuck for days trying to sort out the bloody FRP lock on an S7 (SM-G930F) that had been gifted to my wife by my father-in-law where he hadn't removed the accounts before passing it over.
My wife then did an update that the phone requested when it started up and that went wrong at which point I get involved and factory reset it...oh BIG mistake... and that's where my problems started made worse by the fact my father-in-law couldn't remember which account he had setup on the phone....or even the password to possible accounts!! I consider myself to be well versed in all things tech but I had absolutely no idea FRP existed and was absolutely baffled when i saw the message on the screen after flashing the stock firmware (G930FXXU2DRB6) that was on there according to the recovery mode. I've been trying so many different things over the past week all current methods failed...then I came across this one...which had seemed to be blocked by admins but I was able to click on the link in the 2nd post and grab the password from the readme in the first, which i must admit made it a bit dubious and not sure why @S6unbricker felt the need to do that but there's no issues it doesn't go to a stupid survey site or anything it just goes to a text file on mega which has one line and that's the password!
I followed the method to the letter and, to my surprise and joy, it's actually worked a treat...the S7 is no longer a paper weight!!!
Massive thanks to @S6unbricker :good: ...any chance of re-posting but without the password on the file or putting the password in the post?
Frp doesn't block eng bootloader...after u flash eng boot u can simply use Abd command to remove. Or the longer method flash factory binaries. Enable oem unlock (most important part). Then flash stock rom make sure to remove userdata.img ....on a side note wondering if adding the Samsung retail app and activating it, then using the login data to remove the app via factory data reset might work.

From my experience the combination roms (which I presume you are referring to when you say eng bootloader) didn't solve my issue. Yes I could get them on the phone and boot into them, change the settings or use adb but obviously I don't want the factory binary to stay on there so as soon as I flashed it back to the current firmware, back to square one!
Most poeple advised to use HOME CSC instead of CSC when flashing from combination rom back to stock but I couldn't get odin to flash with HOME CSC.
No I'm referring to the boot.img file. Combination ROMs don't enable su access via she'll.

Ok I know this is an old Post but I'm brand new to Odin and all the unlock lingo.. can anyone explain to me how to downgrade to bypass the frp on my Galaxy I just bought , I'm very tech savvy just need a walkthrough any help would be greatly appreciated
Short question: how can I downgrade or FRP unlock a S8+ G955F that is FRP locked and on very recent firmware?
Here are the details:
I am trying to assist a family member with a Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F) that they have just purchased online. When purchasing it they were not told that FRP lock is on (FRP LOCK: ON) and OEM lock is on (OEM LOCK: ON). It was running Bootloader v2 on very recent stock firmware. It has been successfully flashed with BL_G955FXXU2CRED and AP_G955FXXU2CRED...
It was on G955FXXU2CRED firmware. I was able to successfully able to flash the Combination ROM COMBINATION_FA70_G955FXXU2ARE1 (full name COMBINATION_FA70_G955FXXU2ARE1_CL12792727_QB18097821_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar)
With combination rom, it seemed that I could enable USB Debugging, and also follow the steps for *#0808# IME to enable the appropriate mode for adb codes to be entered. I was able to find the device with 'adb devices', and I thought that the FRP unlock codes on the command line worked. But after re-flashing to the current Stock Firmware again, FRP lock was still there.
It seems I need to downgrade to Nougat 7.0, but I am on Bootloader V2. Odin identifies it by a FAIL with binary not matched (2 vs 1). So it seems that if I could get a method to keep Bootloader V2 and install Stock Firmware for Android 7.0 Nougat, I would be halfway there to fixing the FRP problem. However, I can't find any firmware or ROMs for G955F that includes Bootloader V2. This is identified by a U2 in the firmware name, like: G955FXXU2CRED . Is there a way to keep the BL Bootloader V2 but install AP ROM from Nougat?
I have spent many hours on this so far, and I just wanted to say thank you to all you guys who are helping on XDA, I really appreciate it. I have read about 7 day waiting periods for OEM UNLOCK but I don't see how it applies, as I can't do anything aside from use Combination ROM, use Odin, or go to the FRP locked FW which seems to be a dead end?
If there was a reliable method for rooting this G955F device with this G955FXXU2CRED firmware, I would be open to trying it.
details
Another note: AP SW Rev is identified as B:2 K:1 S:1
I don't think once a phone has the boot loader CRED, that the phone can be downgraded. Hope I am wrong.

I think you are right. The combination ROM seems to built on selinux version 7.
I think I need to root with twrp. But first I need to enable OEM unlock. I'm not sure if that will be possible with combination ROM or if I should flash latest stock and then wait 7 days??
same problem here... If an solution available pls write here

Flashing stock rom and waiting 7 days would be the safe option.
I am not exactly sure what you are trying to achieve.

I think I read someone on CarHDRom who flashed the rom via TWRP, and then when the phone booted into system for the first time at setting up, they changed the date to 8 days earlier, and when the phone setup was completed and booted into system, the OEM unlock was available.
Re: CRED I believe once it has been installed on a phone, you can not go back to a previous version (pre CRED).

It seems there are a few solutions to frp if you can selectively restore flash files. It looks like Samsung tool Pro can do this, but is there any free adb method?

Download latest odin and try again. I too got stuck in similar situation. Realised the issue is due to Odin. If you are using latest and encountered this error, try one version earlier.
I too can confirm that the combination-ROM works like a charm with odin. FRP kinda unlocked itself
Hi all,
I'm having a nightmare of a time with my Galaxy S7... For some unknown reason I decided to root my phone about 2 months ago using CF Auto Root.. worked great.. This morning, was having bad lag issues, so I restarted the phone.. as soon as the Samsung logo came up, I got a red message at the top of the screen saying "Custom Binary locked by FRP".. kind of freaked out and booted the phone into Recovery mode.. wiped Cache and wiped phone (to go back to factory setting I guess).. restarted... since then, I had no boot.. it did loop for a while as I was trying to charge the phone.. but that's it.
Now, the only way the phone will power on is if I plug it into my computer in Download Mode. I am trying to flash the ROM, custom or stock, but Odin fails almost as soon as it starts the sboot.bin and the phone screen shows "SW REV. CHECK FAIL (BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 6, BINARY: 1".. Also, When I try to power on the phone, it HAS to be plugged in to my computer or charger cable and it just loops with a message at the top of the screen.
I can't do anything with this phone and cant find any solutions online... please help! :crying:
PM me for images of all screens please
I had the some problem while playing with my handset I switched off OEM unlock for some reason under developer option..
Next time i reset my handset it stuck on that warning
You need to download combination file, flash it with odin, then unlock developer mode, toggle OEM unlock, than flash back your current firmware, or if you have full twrp back up restore it

This problem appears on the forum over and over. Its a direct result of not understanding what type of S7 you have and what you need to do before modification.
The error you have in Odin means the firmware you are trying to flash is older than the bootloader file on your device. You can never downgrade a bootloader only upgrade.
In your case you need to flash a firmware version 6 or above for your device. So if you have a branded T Mobile for example you will need to download and flash T Mobile firmware version 6 or above. The firmware must also be for your region where you live.
The FRP lock is because you didn't sign out of, or remove the Google account on the device before modification. Its a security feature. It will still appear after you've flashed firmware but as long as you know the email and password the phone will start fine.

Dammit.. I tried to put as much detail as possible in there lol.. obviously I forgot some.. My mistake the Galaxy s7 that I am using is a Rogers Mobile (Canada) SM-G930W8. As for not signing out before modification, omfg, that makes perfect sense.. didn't even think of doing that before rooting.. I appreciate the help!! I will give this a go and see what outcome I get.. Thanks!
[/COLOR]That was nice of you to respond so helpfully, despite you having seen the scenario posted over and over.

The S7 didn't receive Android 9 so the ROM is a custom one. Any issues with custom ROM's should be asked on the ROM thread itself where you got the ROM from. It's quite normal for custom ROM'S to have bugs.
You can try flashing the ROM (Android 9 Pie) again to see if it works. If not there are several different A9 ROM's to choose from.
