No, it's dead, replace the motherboard, return the device if it's under warranty or get a new device.
For future reference.
When flashing a device, make sure you are flashing something built specifically for the device you are flashing.
Do not get impatient and flash a ROM from another similar device just because you want something different than what you have but can't find anything for the device you have.
Android is built specifically for the hardware it is installed on(it must be the same for all of the devices hardware, not just the same CPU).

If it won't charge and won't respond, you can't fix it. Replace the motherboard or get a new device.
Those are your only options.
And stop flashing your phones unless you know EXACTLY what the device can use and only if you know exactly what you're doing.

If your device is under warranty, go to a Samsung SC. Probably your ROM has gone bad. Basically it doesn't know what to do when you press the POWER button.
P.S.: No need of telling the SC guys about the android porting and all. Just tell them that your phone has gone dead and they will probably change your motherboard right away.
If your device's warranty has expired, then the MoBo charges will be around 2-3k (not sure though)

You need to provide full details what is happening. Does it switch on? Do you see a flicker when you turn on or what happened and every single bit of detail you think can be helpful. How do you know it's hardbrick. Do you know the difference between soft and hard brick?
Asking a question without details is not going to help. Ask again in details!

We can NOT help you until you provide specific details.
Answer these questions :
1.Do you have any idea about how to flash a ROM and how much experience & understanding you have of android?
2.What were you doing when your phone suddenly died?
3.Were you trying to change values of your ROM/kernel or trying to do a mod?
4.Tell me in details how your phone is behaving apart from your term DEAD. When you try to switch on, do you see flickering/ a dull black screen or nothing happens or do you see any slight light in dark.
5.Does it boot into flashmode/fastboot if you try?
6.Have you tried to charge it for few hours and left it there?
7.Are you sure it is NOT battery problem?
8. Did you drop it in any kind of liquid or anything.
9. What do you mean by root here. Your phone died DURING root, AFTER root or what?
I only asked 9 questions but your details must be equal to 20 questions if you are willing to fix your phone as we CAN NOT SHOOT STARS on a CLEAR SUNNY SKY.

Thank you for the valuable details that have been provided. I am experiencing the same problem with my Xperia L. For Xperia L as per my understanding to get CWM you need custom Kernal and before installing this I was trying to root and unlock bootlader to get custom ROM installled. I am below average user had some experience in flashing and but I did something wrong the phone is totally dead now. Now I am trying to turn it on and go into recovery by using volume button and power button but just red light is blinking no Sony logo. I also try to connect this with PC but it recognized as unknown device. I also tried Sony SUS but PC is not recognizing the phone which I guess is required for SUS and flash tool. Please help me!

Try removing your battery for 5 minutes. Then try again and let us know how it goes. Your phone is not bricked, it can be salvaged, question is only if you need to send it in to repair. But first thing first, try removing battery and then come back.
Still Xperia L is not turning on, just giving three red light blinks

Thank you Redzo for your kind reply. I did the same but again the red light blinks three times but phone is not turning on and no Sony logo. Still it’s recognized as unknown device by the PC and just also tried on other pc but no luck. Got generic ftt to flash but the phone is still not being recognized by Sony flasher and SUS. Here in Pakistan there is no Sony service centres and I don’t want to give to local vendors. Please advise what should I do more

[ROM][6.0] CyanogenMod 13.0 [ALPHA] [HARD BRICK FIX]

[ROM][6.0] CyanogenMod 13.0 [ALPHA] have bricked some XPERIA L devices. So this thread is to help those people who are facing the problem. I came across some methods to recover their Xperia L. Although, I am not sure it will work because I haven't tried it myself (Can't risk bricking my phone on purpose just to check this method which may or may not fix it ). But please go ahead and try it.
It's better to try than to cry!

You had to install the latest package.. if u didn't only then u would've got hard bricked... cm13 is now tested by too many people and it runs without bugs.. so it may be the fault with the version of cm13 you used..

oh damn another one guy same happened to me with same rom ...
sorry but this means your phone is dead like mine, your bootloader is corrupted so device is unable to boot to kernel nor to system
no flashmode or fastboot mode, you can see it only in device manager (with proper drivers) as qhusb dload 9008
sadly we don't have proper files for QPST software so nobody unbricked his XL to this date
only chance is motherboard replacement

Hi, is it possible to have some more information on the situations with cm13 that have caused a hard-brick? I understood that that the features such as link2sd and app2sd are potentially dangerous? Is this understanding correct? If yes, could you please explain why and under which circumstances this could create troubles?
Do you have any further suggestions on what to avoid?
Many thanks in advance for your expert advice.
I wanted to try cm13 on my spare xperia l, but would like to avoid a hard brick...
Cheers,
Hennng

Its already been fixed in newer builds, also, the developer has stopped the development. But you can surely use CM13 Based ROMs since they also have better editing options.
I really cant wait for cm13. It really pleases me If rom get fixes

[Completed] Hard Bricked in a peculiar manner

Hi xda,
So I had a soft bricked Micromax Canvas a290 which boot looped and couldnt access recovery. I flashed it with a stock ROM. Now the phone is hard bricked, and I'm thinking probably because the rom I downloaded had issues. I looked up another stock rom from xdafirmware, and am trying to follow a tutorial on youtube on flashing a hard bricked device.
The issue I have here is this:
The tutorial says the phone is supposed to connect and disconnect every 7-8 seconds (evident by the sound windows makes when usb device is connected and disconnected).
The thing is, when I connect my device windows makes the connected sound, but the device doesnt disonnect. SP flash tool cant flash my phone. I have tried any and every button combination, but they dont seem to help.
I am an tech enthusiast myself, and I have flashed a lot of mtk soft bricked devices before, but I am totally stumped here.
Can anyone help?? Any ideas whats happening? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings and welcome to assist. I can find very little information for your device apart from this thread which may help, can you connect to the device just using fastboot ?

Bricked Idol 3 (5.5) ANY help is widely appreciated, please

Do people even check these things anymore? My phone is HARD BRICKED. The screen won't turn on, only the white LED is flashing when I plug it in, and before anyone asks, NO I CAN'T ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE/RECOVERY. My phone only shows up as a Qualcomm device. If you see this, at least tell me if I can fix it or not. I've tried Mobile Upgrade Q, Panasonic Eluga, and QFIL software but they all FAILED. What am I missing?? Oh and can someone PLEEEASE link me to an Alcatel Idol 3 stock Lollipop ROM because I'm dying here. Don't suggest Mobile Upgrade Q for getting the stock ROM. Refer to my last post for a less stressful details. Thaaanks.
Use Panasonic Eluga Switch program and what error did you get?

sry for the double post, but maybe this is indeed hopeless. I've been playing with the idea of booting it up with an SD card though... I might as well try since my phone is already dead and after trying everything else, nothing seems to help or unbrick my phone... if I manage to find something interesting, i'll post it here or make a new thread.
Did you solve this problem?
