Hi, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (p5110) is soft-bricked (?or hard-bricked?)
-On the tablet's display there is "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Select recovery mode in Kies and try again"

[Q] Bricked GTab2 P3110 Please Help

Hi all!
In a process of unroot, I have a bricked GTab2 7".
I can go to Stock (3e) recover and Download Mode.
Attempted 'Install from SD card to flash a stock firmware gives 'Signature Verification Failed' error.
Device is detected by computer as I can see it in Device Manager as 'Samsung Android Phone' and have drivers install by Kies.
In Odin, it shows up as added device but there is no Yellow box - so no flashing is possible.
Any help will be appreciated!:fingers-crossed:
Edit: Please Ignore the post - it was only me - problem solved!

maybe a silly question. but you are in download mode when you are plugging it in to the pc and looking at odin? make sure kies is disabled and not running too.

No question is a silly question!
Ofcourse, I plug in to Odin in Download Mode. It shows as added and port number appears but big box doesn't turn to yellow which shows it as ready for flash.
Flash the recovery.. By rom manager , u can find it in play store and its for free

Stuck in firmware upgrade! Unknown build/carrier/country

My friend's Galaxy Tab 2 is stuck on the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" screen and I can't get it to start. I flashed all 3(twrp, cwm, philz) recovery using Odin but none of them worked. Odin recognizes my Tab and I know I can fix this by flashing the stock firmware but the issue is that I don't know the build/pda/anything that is required to download the stock firmware from this page: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-P5100/
All I know is that this Tab was bought from Pakistan.

Galaxy Core 2 "unfortunately ... has stopped" errors

Hello. I have Galaxy Core 2 (duos) that is stuck at some strange problem - can't even finish startup configuration, huge amount of errors "this and this has stopped" Stock recovery is not working, vol up+home+pwr gives dead android and restarts
Have already tried:
1. firmware initializing via Samsung switch - Switch tells SUCCESS
2. stock rom flash via Odin (from Sammobile) - Odin tells SUCCESS
3. pit file re-partition via Odin - Odin tells SUCCESS
4. efs clean - Odin tells SUCCESS
5. flashing different recoveries via Odin - all SUCCESS
Odin gives Success but after restarting phone, the same problem is back. Can't even finish startup configuration, after some amount of pressing OK OK OK etc. device just restarts.
Device:
Samsung Galaxy Core 2 SM-G355HN
Anyone???
Maybe i can do something with ADB or...?
