what is the open rom project ????
this project is dedicated for ''newbie'' users don't know what is a mod rom .
in this thread i want to help you create your own rom , but this thread is only for root and sony users !! , but other phones users (samsung , huawei ... ) can ask about other questions
dear users , if you have a root and twrp here you can paste link to your backup
of rom , but this backup must have : Boot and system only !!
if you do that make a copy of system and edit in 7 zip and try to delete one file
if you can do that , your backup is editable and i can mod your android !!!!
you publish here original (not a copy with deleted file !!) backup with not deleted files
in your editable stock backup i do little mods , and i delete some apps and i mod boot for performance of your phone
after mod your stock rom , i publish backup and you download this file
and wipe all (system , data , dalvik , cache )
make a copy important files and data from os
than you make a wipe
ok you have all ????

if you are ready restore my file , and wait to fully boot , first boot have max 40 minutes , relax and wait
restore your important files
that's all you have little moded stock rom

Samsung Galaxy Ace DDKQ5 1st CUSTOM ROM
First open and Extract S5830DDKQ4.exe which is totally based on Indian Firmware DDKQ4 with APN ETC LIKE ORIGNAL CSC File Baseband DDKQ4 Hindi Font with CF ROOT no backlight lag CRT animation link2sd a2sd swap support and all what u need just flash any 2.3.4 ROM or 2.3.3 any KPH or Indian DDKQ5 tn after extracting Go to the folder copy clockworkmod and CF ROOT CW (STOCK CW) just in case if u need but there is no need of STOCK CW – copy that folder and that CF ROOT CW file into your root sd just open ur sd and paste it there (Ignore if u already have cw) now just reboot your phone hold power key + home key for long and select update and flash cf root cw tn go to advance and reboot recovery than u will come with cw recovery than go to backup restore and select restore and select file which u placed in ur sd 2~3 mints it will take and go back and reboot it will takes a little time after reboot make sure u may lose data settings I suggest u to reset phone b4 restore or go with advance restore and restore only system than boot thats it Your Are Done Just Donate IF You like my work thq (Use ext4 tool and covert after flashing if you like or u want good stability of rom and performance .... I have clockworkmod backup of cyanmobile & do not have its flashable rom zip. This happened sometimes back when my sdcard got corrupted & hence formatted to bring it back to life. I was left with no backups or other firmwares. So I quickly made backup of cmx at that time. Now I have almost all data except for cmx.
So is there any method to create flashable rom package from /system?? Pls. I dont like to restore /system & boot.img that way everytime. I want it as the usual rom zip. Original download link is dead already & my cmx backup is huge!!. Pls. help me!!

How to install :
1. Make backup of your old app
2. Delete the arm folder and apk file
3. Copy from my zip to the destination folder (destination is already writen in the zip)
4. Reboot
5. Enjoy
Tested with my G530H, i dont know if other phone is compatible or not

Hi friends , this post for who use custom rom aften like me,, every time after flashed custom rom we need to install our own apps like es file exlorer, operamini,, etc.,
Here i have uploaded template for custom recovery flashable Apps ,[*.zip] ,, u can replace ur own apps for ur convenience, :
Instruction
1` unzip uploaded file
2` place ur custom apps in system/app/ as ur wish
3` repack zip
4` place it sdcard
5` boot into recovery mode
6` flash ur custom apps which u created
7` reboot system
8` done [ recommended TWRP 3.0.2.0]

hello everyone, Iam wondering..
I remember back in the day with CWM recovery, it was possible to make current running rom backup with all apps settings, everything into a single .img file wich was flashable from recovery and then even if u had empty device you would get rom and everything back.
Nowdays twrp makes rom backup into a multiple files wich are not flashable.. so Iam wondering
is there a way nowdays to make complete full rom backup into a single flashable file please?
