[BUG] Google Maps crashes after refreshing Google Now

Hey all,
I've recorded and uploaded the video for a reproducible bug that I encountered after updating to the latest Google Maps and Google Search.
Essentially, every time Google Search is manually refreshed, Google Maps seems to crash.
I've got a rooted stock Nexus 5 on Android 4.4.2.
Google Maps version 7.6.0
Google Search version 3.2.17.1009776.arm
I've already tried the following things:
1) Cleared data on both apps and restarted the device.
2) Cleared cache via stock recovery.
None of these fixes the issue.
The only fix I found was to downgrade to the older Google Maps app.
Could anyone let me know if they are having the same issue and if anyone found a fix for it other than downgrading the app.
Thanks!

I was having this same issue on the 2013 n7 as well. So I cleared both apps' data, then uninstalled the updates on search then maps. One that's done, I force stopped maps just to be safe. I then reinstalled the search update first, followed by maps. Once both installed, I turned on Google now first before even opening maps. So far, I haven't had a crash, even after a restart. Maybe the order matters, maybe not, maybe it was dumb luck. Give it a shot, can't hurt.

Nice, that seemed to fix my problem! Appreciate the tip
@arts711 I tried your suggested solution but it didn't work for me. I guess I'll have to stick with maps 7.4.0 for now. Appreciate the tip though.

Default Google Apps

I installed a themed playstore, it worked for a week, and then stopped working.
Can someone please post either a flashable zip, or the apks for google play store, and download manager? I muxed up my google playstore and now when ever I open it it crashes with this Message:
"Unfortunately google play store has stopped"
The only way i can get into the playstore without it crashing is to clear cache and data on the playstore app from within settings, but then once I initiate any kind of app download, it crashes witht he same message. I've tried every method I could find via the interwebs and thus far none have worked.
Clearing cache and data on:
-Play store
-download manager
-google play services
Removing and adding back my google account, switching from dalvik to art and then back to dalvik, been trouble shooting this for a 2 weeks now. I had a back up of my original playstore before I flashed the themed one but I inadvertently deleted it in TiBup.
Really trying to avoid a factory reset, and I'm not upgrading to L until Xposed is out or they allow us to change it to the darker version of L.
Anyone willing to pull the default apps from Titanium backup and post a link for me to download, or PM me? Come on guys I need a little help here. I've tried pulling the playservices and playstore with http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ but they still don't fix my issue, I feel like Download manager is the source of the problem, but I don't know enough about how these things tie together to be sure, any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

[problem] Stock camera HDR mode broken

Dear fellas,
So I was trying to download the Google camera app port from here:
https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-hdr-customization-raw-support/
And after downloading it, I had no luck in launching the app, not even after trying to:
- Clear cache and data for both the stock camera app and the Google one.
- Enabling Camera2 API, by adding this string to build.prop: 'persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1'
- Rebooting the device multiple times.
So now, after I gave up on getting it working, I uninstalled the Google camera app, and removed the added string to build.prop, and cleared the cache and data for the stock camera app. Then rebooted the device.
Now when I try to shoot using the HDR mode on my stock camera, the app freezes and it crashes. And it won't open up again until I reboot the device. I can't manage to get it to shoot in HDR, but other modes are running fine.
Does anyone know what to do to solve this? Or even if it was possible to run the Google camera app?
I am running a rooted Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, 128 GB
Running on: MIUI Global 8.5 | Stable
8.5.2.0 (MBGMIED)
Will copying the original build.prop for my device solve this? I don't have the original one though. So any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Question Galley app not working after update A12

Hello, I just factory reset my OnePlus and updated to 11_c.47. I'm now facing a minor issue where my gallery app isn't display previews to my photos. When I select a photo it won't load however, when I select a video it will load. I can see my photos in other gallery apps aswell as google photos. I found others with similar issues and tried clearing the data like they said, but with no luck. The phone is rooted. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!
