EONON G2110F or G2110ZV Firmware Update Caused RADIO and WIFI to be non operational

I need to restore the operation of my Radio and WIFI for my EONON 2110F after a Firmware Update. The Radio APP displays and responds to user input, but no sound, the WIFI fails authentication. Below are all the specifics that I thought would be helpful to anyone who could help.
I was told to update my firmware by the Manufacturer and now the Radio and the WIFI do not function. The Bluetooth and DVD function, but I can’t enable the Navigation without the WIFI, so the GPS is uncertain.
Any help would be appreciated

I purchased an EONON G2110F or G2110ZV Head Unit from EONON EBAY. There were a few issues I had with the Head Unit, some were my lack of understanding and 3 were the unit.
1-The Steering Wheel Control would not work reliably with my 2004 Honda Odyssey.
2-The Weather App was not finding the region I entered so it never updated.
3-I could not connect my music on my Apple iPod Touch to the Head Unit, the iPod is Model A1288 with IOS 4.2.1, although my iPhone 4 with IOS 7.2.1 music could be played.
These were minor issues compared what I am now dealing with the Head Unit.
Asking Support at EONON was very aggravating. They would not answer my questions correctly. Such as if I asked them about my problem connecting my iPod Music they would send me a video using an Android. If I asked them about the Weather App not working, they told me to perform an update without providing the files or instructions. If I asked them about wiring up the Remote Steering Wheel Control, they would send me a video showing someone with a phenolic perf board with buttons on it performing the remote control operations, with no wiring detail.
Any help would be appreciated
Just installed same unit myself today, will share info as I learn more...
Okay, everything spec. wise and operations-wise is on the Eonon site...

Now, I myself am running a custom Lollipop ROM on it, that's also got root access. Only thing I don't like about it? The notification bar on KitKat has an icon which switches the screen off, so making the car interior dark during night drives. I'm hoping to get a message to the custom ROM's developer, Malaysk, and ask him about including that feature in any new ROM he makes for the RK3188 800x480 head units, like ours.
To find out more about our unit, visit the Android Auto section here at XDA. Malaysk's ROM, and others, are available there.
g2110f in a bootlock
I had that same problem, and corrected it by holding the "HOME and POWER BUTTONS" together holding until you hear three beeps, release and short press the power button.
It booted to the system set up or recovery, Use the power button short press to scroll down to recovery and clear cache. Long press power button to start the recovery process.
When prompted finished, restart the unit. Mine booted up normally!!!!!!
You'll have to reset your clock and other operations.
Goodluck!

Dasaita MCU with DSP: Bluetooth not working

I have a one year old 7" Dasaita PX5 4GB RAM, Android 8, which performs flawlessly. Even the Blootooth and MIC volume level issue was solved in this unit, it has configured Bluetooth WD-BC6.
I wanted to upgrade to DSP, so instead of removing componentes and soldering wires , I just bought in Ali Express Dasaita Official Store the Dasaita MCU board with DSP:
https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32965198383.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.6de363c0vGoD1p
After installation on new MCU board, everything is working fine, except Bluetooth, which is not working, if I go to FACTORY SETTINGS, (Password 126) I can select different Bluetooth Adapters, like: MD725, WQ_BC5, WQ_BC6, WQ_BC8, Parrot_FC6000T, SD-968, SD-BC6, SD-GT936, IVT-i145, SD-8350
But after trying several of them, Bluetooth is still not working. Dues anybody know which one I should select.

what BT module does your new unit have?
I did not check the Bluetooth module and I mounted the unit in the car. I took pictures of the board, but they do not show the BT model. So to check it physically I would have to disassembly again. To save this step, I was asking here just in case somebody has this MCU and knows the anser. But looks like I'll have to dissassembly.
Finally, I removed the new unit to check the BT, and it ios as follows:
The BT card in the "old" (one year old) board is:
Silk Marks in the back of the PCB: GOC-MD-705D
Paper label on top of QFP IC (Probably FW version and date) = A5BC6 1907
To have it working I selected in HU Factory Settings : WQ_BC6
The BT in the new MCU with DSP is smaller (shorter) and marks are:
Silk Marks in the back of the PCB: GOC-RF210 2019.04.27
There are no FW labels in the ICs on Top side of the PCB
What do I have to select to have it working?
In Factory configuration, the available BT optios are:
MD725
WQ_BC5
WQ_BC6
WQ_BC8
Parrot_FC6000T
SD-968
SD-BC6
SD-GT936
IVT-i145
SD-8350
I am attaching pictures of Old and New BT boards.
MCU has the latest FW 3.37, but PX5 has Android 8.0 one year old.

Good post, an example of what information to post. Also good /must to know MCU version and that you have upgraded it to the latest available.
Unfortunately I still dont know what BT module you have - it might be a new model or compatible with one of the others lists, or it might require new firmware. Have you tried cycling through all of the MCU BT options, restarting in between? Also try reviewing logcats for BT detected type.
Hi, thank you for your help.
MCU PCB is the latest one: HA-D6100-MAIN VER 0.1 20190701, that integrates a DSP board. MCU FW version is the latest one from Dasaita, MCU 3.37. I tried cycling all MCU BT options with restarting in between, but without success. I do not know how to check Android BT logs.
I purchased this MCU PCB in Aliexpress Dasaita Official Store and I send messages asking for support, but I got no answer. I had to open a dispute to get an answer from Dasaita, now they say that they will send a new BT module, but if the real problem is the lack of support by MCU FW, this new module will not fix the issue.
BT Module and MCU PCB are very new, so probably they will release soon a new MCU FW that will support it, but the Dasaita support

Hello. I had a similar problem. Today I solved it. With the help of seller Dasaita on Aliexpress, I found out that the motherboard has a fresh Bluetooth chip installed. As the seller says installed RF210 Bluetooth 5.0 chip, which is not supported by Android 8. Therefore, all you need to do is install Recovery Android 9, then the firmware with Android 9, and then in the Factory Setting, in the Bluetooth settings on the first tab, select RF210 (it will be added to the list, on Android 8 it simply does not exist). That's all. Everything worked for me. The sound is better than it was on the old Bluetooth chip.

Thanks for taking the time, your explanation solves the puzzle. Good to know they finally have an updated BT option, wonder if they improved the code/drivers.
I will add links. I installed Recovery and Android 9 according to the instructions Hal9k. Hal9k, thank you very much!

Probably on this forum there is a description of the upgrade from Android 8 to Android 9. But I rarely come here. I just saw a problem similar to mine and want to share its solution. I hope this helps someone.
Hello,
I have the PX6 (Adroid 9) with the RF210 BT module, but it doesn't work at all. I've installed the latest MCU and the one before that (MCU 3.45 then MCU 3.53).
I also installed the latest firmware update (20200521). In the end I also installed Hal9k mod, and it still doesn't work.
Does your BT work?

No, it did not work. But I did not try to install Android 9, mine was at Android 8.
SD-BC6
Hi,
I have tried all the BT setting and for me finally working SD-BC6 (PX5 with Android 9 Malaysk mod) . Finally means that my mobile can connect and working and ODB2 module can connect and working. All others setting worked only for mobile or only for ODB2 or not worked at all.

Question PX5 Android 9 replacement no sound

Hello. I fixed the damaged radio by replacing the PX5 module. The radio has started working, however the sound is only from the radio and bluetooth. No sound from USB, internet, navigation - displaying correct. I don't have an amplifier in my car. The radio comes with a CANBUS but I have a version of the car without CANBUS. Could this cause a problem with the sound? Please help.
You are in the wrong Forum. This is for FYT Head Units and you have an MTCD Head Unit. There is a forum for that where you will find the right people.
But anyway, did your unit used to have a PX5 and you replaced it by another PX5? Audio selection and processing happens a the Motherboard (the MTCD). There, the chip in charge of Sound source selection and processing selects from Bluetooth Chip, Radio Chip, and the PX5 (that generates any App-sourced sound like Navigation and MP3 playing). For some reason either the motherboard does not like your PX5 (faulty?) or there is some misconfiguration at the Android Level and PX5 is not reproducing sounds.
Have you changed anything on the Factory Settings?
But definitely your problem is not at the Canbus, but either at Android Config, PX5, or how the MTCD is communicating with the PX5
Thank you very much for the information, I'm new here so I'm still lost. I will move the topic to the appropriate forum. Thank you.
Hi, post system info, mcu version.

It's not an MTCD unit, search forums for CSN2

Repair RCA PreOuts

Hello all!
I have an Android head unit in front of me.
Unfortunately, the RCA PreOut are broken. That is, one output hums (Sub-PreOut), the others (FL/FR/RR/RL) noise.
With the Sub-PreOut it sounds like a ground loop; but it is not. I can completely rule that out through numerous tests.
Where are the RCAs connected in Android hedunits? I suspect the RCA preamp is broken.
I have a DSP module installed from the factory, which in turn is connected to some sort of switch.
I have already unscrewed the radio and traced the traces, but could not see where exactly the RCA outputs are connected.
Do they connect to the DSP?
The following hardware is installed:
CPU: Rockchip PX6 3399
DSP: "ADAU1401A-6CH-V01 HCT-DSP"
Switch for DSP: "SGM6510 YTS28 1345C"
I hope you guys know a solution
Is it MTCD type device, post MCU version and Android system information
Sorry for the late feedback.
I have only now seen your answer.
The following MCU is installed there:
MCU-Version: "MTCE_TONE_V3.78_3"
Android: "Android 10
CPU: "Rockchip PX6 3399"

Complaining to idoing via aliexpress I no longer have support and a solution on their side since I have to send the radio to China and the cost is higher than the radio, could you help me solve my problem
I am afraid of making a bad update and the radio will go black without recovering it

Try using unit without using the known buggy Android auto emulator, alternatively you probably want consider buying an official Android-auto head unit
