Using PrivateSpace
Like most other android phones, the Honor 9 has the ability to add user and guest accounts to your device. It also has a cool feature called PrivateSpace. This is an account that can only be accessed by your fingerprint, from the lock screen. All of the files and data saved on this account cannot be access by any of the other accounts.

You can use your fingerprint or password to quickly access PrivateSpace from the lockscreen. Your PrivateSpace fingerprint can't be identical to those you use to log in to MainSpace.
You can create only one private space on your phone and it's a great way to store secure info privately.
Can you also put apps in this?

Is there anyway to restrict access to applications on my phone?
I work with some sensitive emails so I can't access email on my phone unless I can find a way to lockdown applications.
The main applications I need to lock are my mail applications and messaging. Possibly browser.
Anyway of doing this?
It'd be good if you could.... stop my kids from nosing around parts of the phone I don't want them looking in!!
Found an app
"App Protector"

nice!! Thanks.
there is also the rogram called app lock.
try it out!
I usually use a simple patter to unlock, so it's easy for everyday use, but if my phone is stolen anyone could find the combination via brute force.
I would like to set a method so after, say 5 intents, it requires a long password / other thing.
i haven't found it on the operating system itself, even on Android 4.0.3, so anyone could help?

I doubt there's a way. Unless you use a lockscreen app plus a main password. Or use face unlock in ice to have it unlocked by face or use password if face unlock fails. Good luck.

This is the app page for hangouts (the screen shots)
I think it's the only app I have that has a permission that contains a drop down menu to ask me to allow or deny
Does any other app has this?

Its an SMS specific permission. Are you asking of any other SMS apps have this option?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk < Yes, I want you to know that I'm using a mobile client
App ops via the Xposed module or a custom ROM. Or whatever alternatives there are. Pretty sure it only allows that specific permission on stock because its premium SMS.
As the title says how can i disable this pop up?
I'm using custom rom pixel experience on Poco X3 Pro.
...rest video explains plz have a look. It's very annoying.
thx in advance
