Hello everyone
Sorry for my English I use google translation
Here's my problem ...
I wanted to go back from a rom aosp to rom stock with my honor 8
I had big difficulty to make it go fastboot ... that is to say that I could not do it with flight - + power and adb did not want to recognize it at the beginning but I finally succeeded thanks to adb
I did the usual handling in twrp (full wipe then flash of "update_full_FRD-L09_hw_eu.zip" and "update.zip") but I had an error during the 2nd flash
The recovery stock well re-install and I flashed the rom via flight +/- and power
I had the classic problem of "no keyboard google nor bluetooth" has a bad flash of "update_full_FRD-L09_hw_eu.zip"
So I wanted to re-install twrp to properly re-flasher but the ... the pc does not detect the phone so impossible to switch to fastboot thanks to adb and it still does not want to start fastboot thanks to the combination of keys ....
The top just to do a test I have full wipe with the stock recovery then re-install the rom from the sd card and the ... it asks me my google account to be able to pass the configuration of the phone except that no keyboard n ' Is installed to enter my information ... so I have access to nothing ...
thank you in advance for your help
The bootloader is unlocked and all drivers are installed on the pc ... I already have a lot flasher with adb so the problem does not come from the pc ... Is it possible that I wipe the partition containing the fastboot?
I do not remember the error when flashing and hisuite does not dedicate the phone (which is still in the first setup)
I have already tried but the flash is much too fast and nothing is changed
Accessing the fastboot would solve all my problems
Adb does not detect the phone
The dload method does not install the keyboard
(Thank you for taking time to help me)
When I want to flash the update_full_FRD-L09_hw_eu.zip with dload it's takes only 10 seconds so I guess it's no correctly installed it's too fast
Sorry i did not see your message
I will try this
b380
I was on 380 then on the rom rros and I try to remttre in 380
it does not work The problem with fastboot can it come from usb port c?
I have already tried 3 different USB 2.0 cables with 2 different adapters + 1 true usb c + cable with 2 computers.
I have not yet tried with an older rom... Who advises me?
I managed to pass the first configuration through a physical keyboard
I do not risk to brick my phone with a downgrade without rollback?
There is a root oneclick for the honor 8? So I could flash twrp with rashr
An application for flashing directly from Android
I managed to switch to fastboot but adb does not want to install twrp
it does not work and frp is locked
I have unlock the frp and everything is back in order ... a big thank you for your help
I had the case oem grayed ... I used the tuto to unlock the frp and voila
for unlock frp:

the first post is a tutorial for unlock frp

Hi there. Since you cannot flash a custom recovery cause your bootloader is locked and a bootloader unlock will erase the data you want to get, the only option is extract the info from fastboot mode.
You must boot the phone in fastboot mode (power and vol- for 3 seconds), install motorola drivers and download mfastboot tool. In fastboot mode you can use some commands to extract info, here you have the list of commands you can use and here is a tool that can ease the job of writing every command.
Look in the forum FAQs, help about mfasboot and drivers is there.

thanks for ur answer moralesnery
but its seem that i need usb debuggin, otherwise adb dosent find the device.
can allow usb debugg?
i tried in my other phone, and witht usb debugg it work just fine!
it seems that adb only work with the phone in normal status
when someone has bootloop it's constantly restart and the process will not work
fastboot works, but its seems that i cant pull thing with the fastboot menu.
Try this:
1. Boot to bootloader
2. Unlock the bootloader
3. Flash ClockworkModRecovery
4. Boot to recovery
5. Go to mounts and storage (press vol - many times, when that option is highlighted, press power)
6. Now go to mount /sdcard (press vol - many times, when that option is highlighted press popowe
7. Plug the cable from your phone to the computer. So now your PC will detect a device. And you can copy files from your phone to the PC)
Hope that this works for you, sorry for bad english.
Hi guys..
I was with my L29 on KANG Vip Slim 368 and updated it to N ( http://www.carbontesla.com/2016/11/download-huawei-mate-8-b520-nougat-update-beta-middle-east/ ) with TWRP. The update finished, phone started, EMUI started, but when i checked the phone informations i saw that nothing changed.
So i decided to use the rollback file ( http://www.carbontesla.com/2016/11/download-mate-8-official-nougat-rollback-downgrade-package/ ) and go back to MM. I used the dload way. After the rollback finished, the phone restarted and from that point it stucked at the boot screen.
Ok, no problem i said to myself, I will reinstall TWRP and restore my backup. But it wasnt possible to use ADB to flash TWRP.
So i booted into the bootloader mode. And there i saw that my bootloader is still unlocked but FRP lock.
The problem is now:
Phone doesn't boot.
No more Stock recovery on the phone.
Not possible to flash TWRP or something else via ADB or SRK Tool because of RFP Lock
Not possible to lock bootloader because of RFP Lock
dload method doesn't work
I read all i can find here in XDA and on other sides, but i didn't found a solution to unlock FRP
Is there any solution or is my loved Mate8 dead forever?
I think just you need to flash user data file of your stock mm
How to flash? ADB commands don't work cause of FRP Lock in bootloader mode.
I tried the following command with fastboot:
fastboot oem frp-unlock
But i need a password, tried the bootloader unlock-code and my PIN. Both didn't work.
Any idea wich password is necessary for that command?
Can you enter stock recovery?
No, see OP.
My Mate is alive again !
After i tried to flash firmwares or TWRP in fastboot without success ( FRP Lock in Bootloader) in gave DC Phoenix a try.
I charged 15 credits ( 15 € ) and got 72 hours to flash FW.
After flashing the first FW (Nougat) Bootloader FRP was gone. In Phonesettings (Developer) i set OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging "ON"
The Nougat FW didnt work proper (no Keyboard and a lot of other bugs). But i wanted anyway to go back to my Kangvip Slim (TWRP Backup).
It tooks me many tries with different Rollback- and Stockfiles and TWRP Versions.
But finally i managed to flash TWRP with fastboot and restore my Backup.
Meanwhile i bought am Mate 9, but i will give it away and keep my loved Mate 8.

2. Did you unlock your bootloader before?
3. Which Nougat update did you use?
4. Which Rollback version did you try?
5. What happend after rollback?
6. Can you start erecovery?

The following is the way i would take, but i can't promise that it'll work. Maybe you try it and it won't work for you.
Google for DC-Phoenix
download the software, create account as "new user", buy 15 credits (number 21 in the list) for (Huawei MTK phone FRP Erase (Unlock factory reset protection) 15), remeber it's for 72 hours
Start DC Unlocker
Put your phone in fastboot mode (connected to your pc), flash the Nougat update.app
when it finished reboot your phone
enable developer mode, enable USB debbuging, enable OEM Unlocking (must be on)
If you made it to this point, you made big step to bring your Mate back to live.
We continue than...
And remember, no promise that it will work that way, maybe you lose your money.

I Would like try this option but the only Pc at home run on windows Xp and DC Phoenix don't want to work on it. Every time I try to login in my account this show an error message after a moment.
The others computers at home are all under OSX so I don't know if exist a solution using it.
May be do you have any other solution? Like force the unlock with fastboot commands?
Thank you very much for your help
Thats sound bad dude. That's the trick with DC-Phoenix, it has a way to use a backdoor. (It shows when you flash, first it tries the normal way, give fail, than it use the backdoor)
I searched for hours and the only thing that helped was DC-Phoenix.

hi, dc pheonix can unlock bootloader even frp is locked.
Only flash update.app still can't boot into system,
So I saved my p9lite with a trick.
It seems twrp damaged oeminfo and made dload flashing not work, while I flashing emui5. So while DC phoenix flashing update.app and phone unlocked, I used process explorer suspend DC pheonix process, then use flashboot flash oeminfo. Like:
Code:
fastboot flash oeminfo oeminfo.img
And after that dload flashing is okey.
Hi,
Can anybody help me how to unlock the bootloader and root Leagoo t10.
Thanks.
I solved it myself...
I finaly found a way how to unlock the bootloader...
1. I had to turn off the phone
2. hold the volume up button and insert the usb cable to connect to the pc
3. the phone starts at that point to recovery mode and after it I had to reboot to bootloader (from recovery)
4. then I could use the basic fastboot program (it finaly detected the phone via the commant "fastboot devices") and use the command "fastboot oem unlock" to unlock the bootloader
5. I finaly also had to folow the promt on the phone (the phone asked if I realy want to unlock it) to allow the bootloader to be unlocked
6. The bootloader is unlocked (when starting, the phone shows that its been unlocked)
I think that rooting after this wont be a problem...
PS
I forgot to mention that I also installed PdaNet drivers meanwhile which might be the cause fastboot was able to detect my device...
Hi
Finaly did you manage to root it successfully ?
I am just discovering this phone and I am very interested. But I need it to be rooted
Thanks
No not yet.... The trouble is not the root itself but the backing up before doing it... There are no rooting apps witch can do it automatized yet but that should be solved in the future... The problem is creating the scatter file for backup because the software doing that for Mediathek procesors was not updated for a while and can't handle the 67xx series...
There is presently a flash sale on gearbest, I just ordered it. I hope too that the necessary tools will be available some day. Thanks for the explanation. And wait...
You might be interested that a few days ago there is a downloadable version of the official Leagoo t10 software with all backups and the scatter file included... You can Google it but I believe it was page called something like " need ROMs"...
Now I could try now to Port a custom recovery but after 20 hours of trying I gave up for some time again.... I ported at least 6 recoveries from TWRP and CWM but non worked and the f*cking system of the Leagoo t10 has a failsafe witch automaticky recovers the factory recovery on any standard boot... You should look some time on that need ROMs website because if someone ports a functioning recovery on the t10 that is most probably the first place to be available... If you would have a custom recovery installed rooting would be no problem... Good luck with your new phone... I at least take it the way that I learned more about Android and the ways around it in three months than I have in that last three years thanks to Mediathek...
So I got a version of TWRP working only when you use fastboot to boot to it, the screen is frozen if you try to flash it.
Link here
command is fastboot boot <imgname>
You can root from there, not done much else but playing with it just now.
How did you managed to Port it? I tried at least 3 TWRPs from other mt6797 devices (and modified them trough image kitchen) but none worked... I also tried once to boot to one trough fastboot but that also didn't work... And you said you rooted it with that TWRP but woul it be possible to do MAGISK root this way? Because T10 has only Android 6.0 now and basic root would do the update (when it comes out) harder...
Thanks.
It took me a few hours but I got the LG K10 TWRP to work with it, not sure about MAGISK as I said I only just got it working. I see this device is discontinued now too so unlikely to see much more than this I think.
Thanks... If you got something else working please write about it because it's really hard to find anything useful about this device... And thank you again for the root advice, I will do it as soon as I have some time.
The root worked... With the TWRP from alpha232 I was able to install supersu 2.82 (trough "fastboot boot <image name>" to TWRP and install the zip from there) and my Leagoo T10 is now rooted... (Thanks Alpha232). If someone finds out a way to port TWRP for T10 I woul welcome it if he would share the way how to do it... I woul be also glad if someone could tell me how to go around the failsafe which restores the factory recovery on normal boot for this device.
Hello everyone !
I need some help because I am stuck with an Honor 8 that is not working. I have tried to install AOSP 8.0 [Open Kirin] and maybe I have done something wrong. Indeed, after flashing AOSP the device will be able to boot and start on it but Wi-Fi, SMS and GAPPS cannot work. So I need your help because I have tried all methods in order to install & flash the stock ROM i.e. dload + 3 buttons on start result : the installation stucked at 5% and Huawei eRecovery result : Getting software info. from server failed.
I have already flash BOOT.img, SYSTEM.img and RECOVERY.img but I cannot access to recovery i.e. start+ vol. + and with fastboot flash I cannot flash CUST.img and my computer says : failed not have the right permissions to write on this partition, something like that. I do not know if it has importance but I have already erase all with TWRP and in addition, erase calendar stockage when my devices worked properly. So what I needed is a 100% stock device on EMUI with maybe things that I have erased and I do not know what is.
Thanks for reading and helping
My devices :
- Honor 8 FRD-L09
- SD Card Sandisk 64 Go
- USB-C cable
- A computer under Ubuntu 18.04 with adb and fastboot commands installed
Ok so.. Since you said you've flashed boot and recovery, all you need to do is a dload install. There's a guide on xda here. As far as the aosp, I know it works because I ran it for months on mine. Seems you made an error somewhere in the installation process, but that's besides the point. Do a quick search for the dload installation method and follow it to a point and you should get back to stock no problem
Ok I will try one more time but I have already done this method and it stuck at 5%...
Thanks for reply
EDIT: Ok the dload method fonctionnated, in fact to install stock ROM we need first to install firmware package and then install vendor package.
Thanks, subject close.
Hi all! Now we can root our Sunny 2 phones!
I'd make a TWRP port for this device (adb enabled) so we can just sideload the Magisk installer.
History:
After some time having a Wiko Sunny 2 phone, I'd search a lot and didn't find any method for rooting this little thing.
Then I had the idea to mod the stock recovery to allow test keys and then flash anything, tried to do that and didn't work.
Another idea came to my mind: port TWRP from another phone with same chipset. Started my search for a SPD7731c device with working TWRP and after some time found some guy who made a TWRP port for his "Selecline S6S4IN3G" device and as it had the same chipset it worked. Just gathered the recovery.img from the stock rom (thanks Wiko for giving it on they web page) and unpacked it with carliv image kitchen, replaced the stock ramdisk with TWRP's one and just modded some things inside it (default.prop and the init.rc files). As the vold.fstab is the same, didn't need to modify it.
After some testing, the only problem remaining is that the touch doesn't work well (it receives touch input all the time, even if not touched) but it's enough to get our Sunny2's rooted via ADB and magisk's zip.
REQUIREMENTS:
A PC (or another phone with OTG support, if you use a phone then you'll also need an adb binary compiled for ARM)
ADB, Fastboot and drivers: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1N38jqQqX87dEKsBIgDb_9MC-k43YUi85
TWRP image: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1DZhL6RckvzQyxGCq2Yy64Cqnpnnm1Ofp
Stock recovery image (in case something goes wrong you can revert to this): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1spaFc1sqqjFdwzt9cYDfSO_KVh1aYuh5
Magisk ZIP (can be latest or this zip): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-OPU1JycSr8nVyAGfdkhdajn8Uap_0dl
ROOT PROCESS:
1. While on Android, go to Settings>About this device and toch 7 times Build number (this will enable Developer Options)
2. Now go back to Settings and then Developer options>Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging.
3. Connect the device to the PC and install the correct driver (for doing this just open Device Manager and force the install of Android Composite ADB Interface on your unrecognized device (should be called SUNNY2)).
4. Open a CMD/Terminal and type this:
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
5. Now type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery path/to/twrp-suny2.img
and after that just
Code:
fastboot reboot
.
6. Now the phone will start, just type in CMD/Terminal
Code:
adb reboot recovery
and you will boot into TWRP.
7. Okay, this TWRP has a buggy touch so just use ADB to install the magisk zip:
Code:
adb shell twrp sideload
, then
Code:
adb sideload path/to/magisk.zip
and finally
Code:
adb reboot
.
8. Nice, now Magisk should be installed. Now with root access, happy modding!
Some things to note:
1) In this guide I did everything via ADB, never booted to recovery or fastboot using button combinations. Why? Simple, on my device I didn't find the correct combinations.
2) You can use TWRP also for factory resetting or installing anything, but via ADB only (as the touch doesn't work properly).
3) If you need any help with this device just PM me!
I hope this guide will be useful for anyone.

Stuck in boot loop
Hi ! Thanks for the HowTo !
But...
I followed the exact same procedure (except I had to fastboot oem unlock before flashing the twrp image, in addition to unlocking it in dev mode).
After flashing, the device was stuck in a boot loop : "orange state your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted / your device will boot in 5 seconds". Tried all manners of key combos to reboot in recovery (Vol Up + power is supposed to be the right combo) but to no avail.
Fortunately Wiko provides an "upgrade" tool that allows you to factory reset the device (support dot wikomobile dot com /maj/Sunny2Plus_V24.zip, window$ only) but no luck installing twrp.
Any idea why ? Thanks in advance

Hmm this device is pretty strange, his key combinations never worked for me (because of that I'd need to reboot into system a few times, instead of booting to fastboot with keys).
You can try this:
After flashing stock rom and allowing oem unlock on settings, reboot directly to fastboot. Then use "fastboot boot recovery.img" and tell me what it says. If it says something about bad boot image, it's normal (that happens in my device even if try to load stock boot.img).
Also there's a tool called SPD Research Download Tool, which let's you flash the phone partitions one by one (manually selectable) from the path you want, while phone is in download mode (volume down and connect USB to PC). However, I don't know if that tool's license allows it's free redistribution, so I recommend research for it before downloading anything.
You can get the stock files by running the wiko upgrade tool, going to the folder it extracted his files and then looking for a file called rom.pac (then unpack it, there are guides here on XDA for doing so). You can even edit the boot splash image lol
Sorry for wasting your time
I'm so stupid ! It turns out my device is a different model, the Sunny 2 Plus.
Sorry, and thanks again

Nope, sold the device some days after writing this post so didn't even bother to port anything.
BTW it's a 4-core phone with 512MB RAM, so what would you expect to run there? I thing nothing higher than MM (KK would be nice if it was not so outdated nowadays)
Hi, i have got a problem with my wiko sunny 2 plus.
i flashed twrp via fastboot, it succeed. but after reboot the phone didnt start,
only shows orange state, didn´t connect to pc anymore with same cable. i mean i can hear the win7 sound of connecting device and right after connect sound appear then disconnect sound follows right after. so i cant detect the device with adb anymore. what to do, any idea? P.S. sp flashtool also cant detect device. greets
merci beaucoup j espere sa marche
