I followed the instructions at the cyanogen wiki for apps2sd and I did it via recovery console. When I reached the last step and reboot my phone I noticed all my apps were gone. ALL except bluetooth, browser, calculator, calendar, camcorder, camera, clock, contacts, dev tools, dialer, email, gallery, gmail, google talk, messaging, mp3 store, music, settings, sound recorder, spare parts, superuser permissions, terminal emulator, voice dialer, voice search, and youtube. Market isn't on that list. In my apps2sd adventure I deleted the android market. I really need help.
I have the G1

Hi,
The one thing giving me most grief on my Android (1.6) phone is media handling in general. It's all related to the media scanner I think and results in the following:
- Every time I take a picture with my camera and store it on my 8gb SD card a full media scan takes place, including my music. It often takes 10 minutes for this to complete before I can take another picture. With third party cameras this is not a problem.
- Even if I put music, ringtones, notifications and alerts in separate folders under ~/media everything shows up everywhere. Ringtones/notifications in the music player, music as notification sounds in the set notification context menu. I can't even find my ringtones/notification sounds since absolutely all music is listed. With third party music players I can set which folder(s) contains music, but not with Android's Gallery/Music/Camera apps.
I have tried to disable the Media Storage service, but it's still run ever so often and slows down my phone for 10-15 minutes. It eats battery also.
Is was perfectly happy with the built in camera/gallery/music stuff user interface wise, but I simply can't use it the way it works. Of course this is Android, so there's always an app to get, but I haven't really found a replacement for the gallery, so I really wish there was a way to fix these problems.
Hello there!
I have a principle question!
Is it possible for an App, during I am phoning, playing a short mp3 (eg "Happy Birthday to you"). That means for my dialog partner it would sound, like I said to him that words. I myself, do not hear that sound, the App directly should put the sound internal to the "micro".
In other words, is it possible with an App to access/influence the "Telephon functionality"? (Or is the "Telephon functionality" a black box without accessibility?)
Thanks in advance,
MAX
HI,
First time on this forum. I've had my SmartWatch 2 for almost a month now and to be honest I'm not overly impressed. I'm not expecting it to be a replacement for my phone or anything but I find it has a limited use due to very few useful apps. I have all the ones that are suggested by Smart Connect. I have a couple of custom watch faces, Smartmote (Music controller that's compatible with Spotify), Find Phone and Commander. I find it hard to find any decent apps on Play that are high quality. Is there any third party apps dedicated as an appstore for the SmartWatch?
What I'd really like to know, what apps do you use on a daily bases, that you can't live without and that makes the SmartWatch 2 a useful aid to your life?
Use SmartConnect or search in Play Store for Smart Extension Sony...
I love D-Day for dates and tasks and the Shopping list extension since I've the 2nd child
Von meinem Sony Xperia Z1 gesendet. Mit Hirn.
Depends on what you want to do. I use tasker to remove the pass code when it is connected to the watch and re-enable it when out of range. Tasker also notifies me if the battery is draining when usb charging or the screen is on while in my pocket... I use AppLauncher to be able to start car mode when in my 2nd car (which doesn't have Bluetooth) and to start klets (voice control) or remote widget to turn on my home media server from the lounge room... I use "Phone Status" to toggle Wi-Fi hotspot. My bank had an asp to view current balance...so many things it can do...
Main use : Watchify
I own a galaxy note 3, so it's super convient to see the notification on my wirst.
Also as said just before, the Tasker combinaison can do some pretty good things.
I use mostly Poweramp Control pro and Runtastic.
And from time to time, Calculator and the Timer.

Hi everyone!
I'm having a problem regarding my acer ring on the device acer iconia a200 tab. The ring button doesn't show at all. Its enabled in the settings, I tried restart, uninstall and re install the update, switching off the app killer. But the ring is not there. I would show the screenshot but it also works through the ring. Any help would be appreciated.
Just for the safe side, i should tell that i disabled following apps, is there any of them linked with the ring (Ring is enabled):
