Without bloatware ofc, it's really fast.

I got mine a week ago, it's very smooth and fast.

Very smooth, no need to change ROM aslong as you have one of the officials. Of course, the EU and so on add extras which are very handy sometimes

This is not the phone but the beast!!

Powerfull

After 2 1/2 years becomes a bit slower even with the factory settings after 3 days te

Not much to complain about here. It is not always Nexus smooth, but it is plenty fast and heating has never been a problem for me. Boeffla Kernel helps out with that.
Speed not a problem
Great speed.. Smooth and no heat for me with stock kernel.

Performance has been top notch so far. Rarely I have felt slowdowns or lag or crashes. And those are OOS issues that I hope will be fixed soon. Then I would give the performance of Oneplus Two 5 star.
Mmmm, to be honest, for me it wasn't as fast and smooth as I have wanted, but after switching to AK kernel, everything is fine.
Then AK kernel seems a must.
Thanks.

The phone Stock is not superfast. Speed is simply "good" but not the best as it should be. It is clearly slower than a 2 years old nexus 5. But it is a software problem, other roms/kernels are really really fast. Let's see if oneplus fix it.
Right, phone(stock) have lag.
Is there a better ROM for this phone?
Transitions between apps, or from app to home screen can be sluggish at times. Otherwise I have not had issues with speed.
This is the fastest phone I've ever owned. After a 4 month hiatus, I came back to the Android camp with the LG V10, and while I did like it, it was just missing something and ultimately wasn't for me so I returned it. After going back and forth between the OP2 and the 6P, I ultimately decided on the OP2 and couldn't be happier. The V10 was definitely a fast device, the OP2 just seems a lot quicker and more responsive.
Absolutely nothing to complain about. I have OxygenOS 2.1.2 with the latest boeffla kernel (beta 15). Didn't tweak anything.
The phone is swift every time.
After having owned two Nexus (4 and 5), and the Oneplus One (running CyanogenOS then CM12.1) I'm highly disappointed. The phone is great, yes (good photo quality, good sound, good screen quality and not that over heating).
But OMG OxygenOS is sooo laggy .. It reminds me my Galaxy S3 with Touchwizz. It is more stable than CyanogenOS on the Oneplus One but I can't stand these lags anymore that's why I'm flashing CM12.1 right now. I'll miss FP scanner and LAF but hope we'll get them on custom 6.0 roms soon. (And if we don't then I'll think about selling it and get a Nexus 6P)
And I'm also disappointed by the charging time. Too long. And if I'm not using the original charger it takes years for the battery to be fully charged.

What made you choose the OP2 over the 6P?

Mainly the size and cost difference. While I can afford the 6P, I didn't feel like it was worth the extra cash over the OP2. Couple that with the more manageable size, and I just felt the OP2 was more practical for my needs. I also really, really like the design and build of the OP2. There were a few more little things that helped my decision too, like the ability to switch between on-screen and capacitive buttons, the alert slider, and dark theme without having to flash anything. I'm an old man, and I stopped flashing ROMs years ago. I just want my sh!t to work with minimal tinkering. I guess when you group it all together, I just preferred the whole OP2 package to that of the 6P.
Coming from a Nexus 4, there is not much difference in speed even with about 15-20 apps open

runs great. never bogs down on me with the 4gbs ram and 8 core snapdragon. all the ram was a big selling point for me. snc

I have both the OPT and a Sony Xperia Z5. I bought the OPT to try out dual-SIM.
As I understand it they have the same CPU. Even though the Xperia Z5 is faster and smoother. I really don't feel that the OPT is faster than the OPO. I think the problem is the OS. The Sony OS is probably the best manufactor-OS i have had on an Android device (besides stock and CM)

The Snapdragon 821 is more than enough for anything, I did not have any performance issues with LOS. It's just lightning fast.
My OnePlus One was faster with stock ROM. SD820/821 phones are crap if they doesn't have EAS or any extra tweaks. Ofcourse games aren't included in this.
My experience is also that it's very fast within apps, but just about adequate in the interface no matter the launcher. It has nothing to do with the hardware, but just the battery optimizations from Xiaomi. I do expect a large difference when MIUI 9 releases as the first reports confirm that it improves a lot in the feel of speed in the interface.
the phone is lightning fast, in fact it is one of the fastest phone i have ever used, altough the OP3T is faster but the Mi5s is definitely in My list of the fastest android phones
It's really fast for processing, games, but sometimes it just lags for no reason with slow scrolling.

My old phone which I had to replace as it got smashed had a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 and I though that was fast until I got a OnePlus+ 5 which is in another league.
Well, i am impressed by the overall speed and snapiness (coming from an exynos galaxy s7).
This thing can handle much without overheating! (A nightmare for galaxy s users)
I simply love my experience so far with my OP5.. It is fluid, fast especially considering Android, bright screen, lightning fingerprint.. Coming from s7 edge only 2 months old which was so laggy after installing all the apps.. Hope Android O and other releases allows us to stay smooth and save battery, I may not change my phone for a year (can't say for longer [emoji16])

for me the backups in twrp and titanium are noticeably faster as is a normal boot. i have yet to get rid of encryption but i think that will add further performance increase.
Looks like i am the only one from "humble" beginnings here. ??. I had a A5 2015 , i thought it was good and not that slow , i was gonna buy s8+ but then i saw op5 and omg its soooo much faster than a5 i am glad i bought oneplus .
I had a Nexus 6 before with overlocked CPU custom Kernel and lineage os on the board, oneplus 5 everything stock, no root, is insanely faster and the battery is much better, i lovee this phone
Awesome
sounds nice
Nice ! i also like it

Blazing fast
Compared to all the flagships I have ever had my hands on, the OnePlus 5 is the best of all, HTC U11 is very simillar in terms of overall performance.

Hehe nice quote there 'Like, is it as fast as your tears when you watch The Titanic?'.
Any way, I have the OP2 and some of my colleagues and friends have OP5.
When i used it for the first time, it was like you drive a brand new car..
The fingerprint is much fast and recognizes allmost 99 percent of the time.
After checking benchmarks on it, i was totally in love so i diceded to buy him ASAP.
Actually at this moment i'm waiting because there are rumours of a new version with extended battery etc..
8gb RAM version is quick. Really quick.
I'd love to try using one plus 5 which is said to have great speed. However, I am still confused to use it, while I still have galaxy s8 phones, which memilliki OS and spare parts are no less far away with others.
Thank you,
polarin.co.id
I m using 6gb version and till date I haven't faced any hiccup of performance lagness etc nothing
Just a Wow phone
This is the phone I would buy again n again irrespective of its successor Oneplus 5T.

I came from oneplus and I am not a little bit disappointed. I used OP1 and OP5 and in both cases the camera performance was subpar. I bought this phone mainly for its camera. It is living it's expectations. The battery life is great. Easily lasts a day. The display quality and the dual speaker combination is a treat for those who like to stream content a lot. The only complain I have is the weight of the device. It takes long time to used to this weight.
Very nice and camera quality quite better than f1. Thanks

i bought it for ₹27000 6GB RAM variant, and I'm really satisfied with my purchase!
although a week later the phone was being offered @ ₹25000 6 GB RAM variant
Reno 10x is the game changer of mid-range phones
Reno 10x definitely blew off the minds of markets with its periscope zoom lens in a mid-range phone. The only popular mobile with this zoom range was Huawei p30 pro with almost double the cost of this mobile that time. Reno 10x is constantly improving in terms or software and camera features. Performance is good. Looks are good. Pop up front cam is definitely stylish. Yes, its definitely a lovable mobile. If it had that curved display like sumsung edge, then this mobile would have been the best in class in all the departments.

10/10
I didn't watch Titanic. Value for the price is more than a great phone.
It's very snappy. Even after 3 months it performs like brand new at least in my experience.
I'm happy my Redmi Note 7 is faster than my Samsung S7 that replaced it
I agree
Yep after 2 months of use, it's still smooth and easy to use
Miui optimisation issue on note 7s.
I am using pixel experience so experience is good. Very smooth after 6 months of use
slow motions on telegram
hi
my note7 gets slow when shows the motion emojis or gifs on telegram app... but my old phone, galaxy alpha, can show the real motion of everything on this app...
