I guess I still can't attach pictures here I compared my 10plus with my nubia z9 mini. Results are a bit sad. I mean if you buying a phone two times more expensive (490 vs 200usd) you usually hope for two times better camera. But it is not. The camera on p10plus is definitely better but the difference is not so big. Besides I think nubia camera/soft is making better HDRs on the walk(without a tripod). P10plus is making very beautiful night pictures with a tripod. Also, nubia has real 16:9 16 megapixels camera, not like 4:3 in p10plus.
Anyway P10plus is still a great phone and comfortable in using

i bought this for the camera and have to say i don't think it's all it's made up to be,i took 2 of same photos one with p10 plus and one with note 4,the note 4 looked a lot better in my opinion,so much so i'm going back to samsung(s8+)and my girlfriend can have my p10 plus

It is still very recent to speak, because I bought it 3 days ago, my experience is excellent for the front camera, with the integrated focus, we can take really clear pictures with 8MP quality, the rear camera also impresses a lot, these are my opinions based in the comparison difference of my previous cell phone the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro
The Xperia is far superior for sure.
(Note): Not everything is perfect, I am observing that the focus does not work very well at a distance of 60cm from the body.
Some applications like snapchat, instagram and even the camera, does not support the zoom function for the main camera, which I think is bad, since in other cell phones this is so common. I think it's a software feature and not just hardware.
While the device is beautiful and well-built, I am used to talking about these things.

The 16 mp cam is good but id say its not that great, lacks manual Control however VSCO edits give me some relief, where as the selfie cam is very bad and im very disappointed! Like I still look ugly on the front cam and VSCO cant do anything about it either where as my last phone managed to give better saturation at 5 mp! THE 8mp on Nokia6 is terrible! Is it just me?
I've read about this a month ago: reddit. com/r/Nokia/comments/6ti8ik/installed_the_new_google_camera_apk_with_hdr_on/
I've done it on my phone and surprisingly, it does improve photos quality a little bit.
Coming from lumia phones,I would say hugely disappointing camera.I miss my old lumias so much more once again. With years of use I am so familiar with nokia pro cam app and extraordinary pictures,it feels like this is not even a nokia camera.
Trust me I am not comparing top end lumias with pureview and zeiss lenses.Cheapest lumias like 630 with 5mp camera (no pureview,no zeiss,no flash) outperforms it by a great margin.
Yellow photos are extremely annoying but it vastly improved after oreo.Gcam from xda gives good results as well.
Personally i feel, the hardware is not so bad but the software is not using it properly. Some half decent shots I have managed to take with it.
Hdr on.Rest all are auto mode Flash off.

No it is a fact. You are absolutely right.A 5mp camera of dirt cheap lumia 630 outperforms it in every aspect.I am not even trying to compare it with even mid range lumias.
depends on the lighting imo, outdoors by day photos don't like bad. indoors with room lighting photos can be blurry and pixelated
pretty disappointed in the camera as well, i've seen better results on a lower px chinese phone cameras
as can be seen from these two images, one is without flash and the other is with flash
here is a short clip demonstrating camera outdoors by day, picture quality is the same as in the video

Can any specify the aperture size of rear camera??

Video quality

Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the Huawei P10 Plus come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.

The quality of video is quite good. It doesn't match up with modern mirrorless cameras, but Leica optics does hand a great value to video quality. This is exactly why I'm so frustrated on the software. Camera on itself is awesome and the quality is top notch, yet deficiency of the camera application renders camera almost useless. Except for the selfie, monochrome and pro-mode parts (which are photography modes) Too bad, video is the worst part of the camera. Only in perfect conditions it will perform quite well, but at least here in Finland Sun doesn't shine around the clock. When using artificial lighting, shutter flickering happens about 80% of time because one can not lock down the shutter speed to match frequency of said lighting. And on normal-to-low light situations, noise and artifacts destroys the video quality to a point you don't ever want to use the phone for video.
video quality is very bad. to the point that i dont like shooting with it anymore. camera is bad as well. it is very frustrating. i swapped out my iphone 6s for this huawei p10 more because i was attracted with the leica branding. and i am regretting it.. it has been 3 months already since i bought this. 2 months of selling it and no body is buying this thing

Oppo reno10x zoom
Camera
Image quality not good.....
Dynamic range is not good
No sharpness in images
Oppo Reno 10x zoom dont have metering mode in camera settings...
Artificial Intelligence is of no use...
Dear #oppo team stop cheating your customers....
Bad camera.......
I feel it performs well, with higher pixels, and clearer.
Great Camera Hardware, still needs improvements in image processing
Reno 10x got a very good hardware in its camera department. The photos are also good and feels nice. However the images needs better processing, especially the HDR shots. Thank you.
Huge focus hunting issue in lowlight, worst camera app...
My last phone was the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro with a very good camera. Now i´ve bought The Reno 10x and in comparison the photos with the 10x are in the most situations muchg better than Xiaomis photos. Especially the zoom function is more effective. I´m very satisfied with this device. Photos are sharp, many details, with Color OS 7.1 i can use the zoom function also in video mode - with Xiaomi this is a big problem. And the device offers 5G and a much faster processor than Xiaomis model.
Photo quality is it's quite good considering it's price tag. If you compare this smartphone to the typical samsung, iphone, huawei flagships of course you may conclude that the camera is not good at all.
Color tones are inclined to "natural", not like Samsung cameras that tends to make over saturated photos.
Main camera:
Lacks a bit of detail and color deph. At 48mp mode detail improves but zoom, hdr, color dazzle options are nulled.
Night mode gives vivid colors but are blurry. To countermeasure this issue I use Gcam or "Manual mode" in the default cam (long exposure at 100 ISO).
Telephoto lens:
Photos zoomed up until 4.9x are digitally zoomed. Then optical 5x zoom kicks in. Zooming higher than 5x makes blurry grainy photos. For this reason I only use 1~2x or 5x. Colors lack a saturation but can be improved with "hdr" and "dazzle color". Or by using Gcam.
Wide lens:
Makes photos with noticeable color aberrations lacking even more detail than main lens, but still makes much better photos than using these cheap attachable wide lens.
Macro:
Strangely the wide lens is suggested for macro but I think the main lens is more suitable due to higher image detail. Closest focus distance of main lens is approximately 8cm so you cannot take very close-up photos. But by buying these cheap small attachable lens you can make good macro photos.
Coming from a single lens smartphone, I'm very happy with the Oppo Reno 10x zoom as it can cover almost all camera modes. Zoom, ultra-wide, macro (by using attachable lens), manual mode, RAW(Gcam), astrophotography(Gcam), 4k 60fps, etc. I'm only disappointed at how sometimes the images lacks deepness.

sample portrait from my hotrod red
I tried shooting portrait using this phone, I'm pretty impressed with the result. Although not perfect, it's good.
I had pixel 2 xl which still shoots great photos, it goes par for me.
Since I'm not that photo guy. I honestly say that the photo quality is great. I'm coming from pixel 2 xl, so i can definitely say it does the job, for social media posting too.
I shoot videos on YouTube and it is very important for me that the video quality is high. Tell me if the camera of this phone can be professional?

i tried 64mp vs 16mp on a huge billboard,
16mp the text was neat, no wavy texts going on. but the 64 mp looks the same, file size is way bigger, image resolution is bigger, but the quality, once you zoom in.. you can see the differences.
Quality is so so! I need a better mobilephone....
