Does SM-G920F dual sim use same ROM as single sim? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, title says it all. I have an SM-G920F with dual sim. But it seems like Sam Mobile don't make a distinction between the two. So I assume the same ROM handles both scenarios? Anyone did this before?
Note: Settings App says 920F, all build numbers says 920F, including Samsung Phone Info. But *#1234# says 920FD :/ Help?

Yes, dual SIM model uses single SIM model's firmware.

Of course you have the dual functionality after flashing XtreStoLite because it recognizes you phone as dual sim and automatically flashes the right files for a dual sim. But when you flash a single sim rom you wont have the dual sim fuctionality.
Lol....
Ive downloaded from sammobile g920f... bcoze g920fd doesnt exist as firmware. Idk how it works maybe all g920f packages have included dual sim function. Every official rom stock one, g920f you flash you gona have dual sim. Ive tested it... and others can confirm. Go in general there is a thread "s6 dual sim" and you gona find a lot answers. One of them is what i said
i have installed a variant for g920f egypt by odin mode but nothing changed at all even the csc code of my device is for iran ...it didn't change as nothing happen
You can safely flash the ROM for single SIM G920F to your dual SIM G920FD.

[Q] Flashing single sim stock firmware on dual sim phone. (Samsung Galaxy S7)

Hello,
I was wondering what would happen if I would flash an SM-G930F firmware on my dual sim phone SM-G930FD?
Will the device get bricked?
Will it lose dual sim functionality?
Dual sim phones have 2 IMEI, will it become only 1 IMEI?
also, if I flash a firmware lets say from sammobile via odin, will I lose warranty? How they can know?
Thank you
It'll work fine, same firmware for both, no warranty lost

Question OnePlus 9 convert dual sim 2115 only

I've been trying to convert OnePlus 9 2115 to dual sim for the last few days,At the end of my experiments, dual sim was successful,
, I couldn't enable dual sim in oxgyen os or color os in any way , now i have a question for you , how can i convert 2115 to 2113 , how can i change the model code ?
Even if I flash the European rom inside the phone, the model code never changes.
No matter what rom is in it, the model code is always the same 2115. When European rom is flashed on tmobile phones, the model code changes in android 12. but I could never change the model code of my global phone to europe, if the model code changes, it will be dual sim.
Now what I'm wondering is why does it work in engineering roms while dual sim works in European roms, what is preventing this in european rom?
How does the phone know it's a single sim?
