The new physical navigation buttons on the Honor 9 are not marked with any sort of icon. They are flush with the rest of the phone and marked only with a little light that goes off after five seconds of no use.
If it annoys you when these lights turn off, you can set them to stay on until your screen has been turned off. Go to your Navigation Key settings and set the lights to "Turn off with screen".
If the lack of "back" and "recent" indicators has you constantly pressing the wrong button, you can disable the side keys entirely. The center home key can be set to go back with a normal press, go home with long press, and show recent apps when swiped.

Hi guys, as the title says the membrane that holds the power button in the housing has broken and I lost the power button itself, and now I have to wake the phone with a key because my nails aren't long.
Do you guys know any ebay link or something to buy a housing (

) or a homemade method to make it easier to wake up?
Every link sells front and back housing, but i only want the back housing.
Thanks
i have a solution
go to setting first keep your lock screen setting to none
then downlaod app screen off and lock app from playstore
now you can able to open screen by pressing volume button
or lock screen by app
On KitKat, you could hold the power button and tap what you wanted.
On Lollipop, I've found only one way.
1. Press the volume hardware button
2. Then tap the icon to the left of the volume meter bar
The minor issue I have is this means you're constantly changing the volume level to access this menu.
Is there a similar way, like my Kitkat example, or easier way to change the ringer type (ringer/vibrate/silent) that is native to the OS? I'm not looking for a new application to install to achieve this.
Page 9, sigh.

Hi, I know that there are screenshot apps out there, and there is the screen selection tool built into the S8 edge apps, but is there just a simple built in key sequence to take a quick screen cap? Thanks!
vol - and Power button
Hmmm, I can't seem to get it to work. Haha, i feel like an idiot!
Power + Volume Down keys (in sequence)
If the key sequence is too tricky then you could use the hand swipe gesture.

What ive noticed is that its not instant...it takes about half a second of holding the buttons to make it work.
Haha, finally got it, thanks for the help....it's all in the timing, not one before the other. The palm thing is cool too, thanks!
Since yesterday I have a weird problem with my phone, a Chinese Motorola X30 Pro. When I touch the screen to unlock the phone, I see an analogue clock. This is not the screen that displays when the power button is pressed - the digital clock displays as normal. How do I get rid of the analogue clock? I can't find anything in the settings related to clocks on the lock screen or home screen.

Have you checked the setting options in Settings - Screen lock? Have you installed some 3rd-party theme?
