we have a thread in the general section with all firmwares posted. It's stickied.
I was attempting to rooted my G930A phone and failed. Now, I'm stuck at the screen telling you to utilize Smart Switch's Emergency Software Recovery. However, my Samsung Galaxy S7 is not supported. I am able to boot into download mode. What should I do?
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
Try going to Sammobile .com or samsung-updates .com and find your stock firmware using your device model. Then flash it using Odin.
Good luck.
I wasn't able to find my model (SM-G930A) on either of those sites

any updates my phone is doing the same day.
You can always use samsung kies! And YES, i know it says phone not supported but if you do the firmware recovery it will pick up your s7 just fine and it will flash back your default firmware without a problem. The no support thing is just for the phone management but works for firmwares.
Try this

Hi,
I do have an unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy S7; model SM-G930F(international model), which I brought from Jet.com. I am using T-mobile sim prepaid sim on it.
For the past few weeks its showing problem of re-starting and hangs on Samsung boot screen(first screen with Samsung name and galaxy s7 logo) with blue light on top always on. I tried factory reset, but did not work and happens too often these days. There is no fixed way of getting out of it. Sometimes it works by clearing the cache, at times by logging in on safe mode and rebooting, then at times by charging for a while and turning it on etc...
From looking into the forums and discussion, I have the feeling that its related to bootloop or bricked phone. The only thing left to do is install firmware once again with ODIN. But I am confused on which firmware to download. Can anyone help me with which is the best one to install? Below is the phone details.
AP : G930FXXU1BPLB
CP: G930FXXU1BPJJ
CSC: G930FUUB1BPL4
Any help of this is much appreciated.
you should install all of them, in the order it says,

OK. But do you have the link to the firmware that I can use? I am not sure from the above information which firmware would be suited for my version of Galaxy S7. Looking for the downloadable firmware.

Hi mate
You had a Marsmellow firmware you can basically flash any official firmware you want , as long as it belongs to a G930F , pick a country similar or same to where you live
Check here
Get a Nougat firmware they are working fine, follow the intruction in how to flash , pick CSC or home_csc , CSC will factory rest your phone will it leave it like new , if you use home_csc has to be same as the one you have your phone then you will not lose any data
SM - G930F
Thank you!!
I got the file downloaded now. Do I need to select all the AP, BL, CP and CSC on the ODIN software to reset it?

Today morning again the phone got hanged in the bootscreen. So, I decided to run the ODIN3 with all the 4 files selected. I installed the Samsung drviers and followed all the instruction and run the application with all the 4 files selected. The process showed success in the ODIN3 application. But even after that, the phone is stuck on the bootloader Samsung with Galaxy S7 logo.
Any idea what to do next or how to resolve this issue?

Did you factory reset from recovery and flashed firmware again?
Perhaps someone can answer a similar question for me? I have the XEU nougat beta firmware, can I flash the BTU final nougat without needing to factory reset?

OK.... here is the SAD news.. I gave the phone for repair on a local cellphone shop. They did some testing on it and said its related to software. After trying to fix it with installing software and other fix they called me a while back and said `THERE IS NO FIX FOR IT`.
Not sure what to do with it. Bought this unlocked only 6 months back and its already dead....
Never going for another Galaxy for sure.

Yeah, you can do that, but is preferable to do the flash then a factory reset...

Just download the right firmware from sammobile.com and flash it using odin ap mode. Correct country code and carrier firmware. It will work.

Purchased Verizon locked S22 Ultra from Samsung
Switched to T-Mobile 3 months later.
Verizon said they "unlocked" it and I'm able to use the T-Mobile SIM.
What I want to get rid of is the Verizon boot logo and the pre-installed Verizon apps. Basically I want unlocked firmware.
I downloaded SM-S908U1 XAA and Odin will not load it (I'm using latest ODIN patched). I tried every single thing.
I ended up loading SM-S908U TMB, it flashed, but it's still on Verizon!
Is this hopeless at this point? Am I doing something wrong? Am I downloading the wrong firmware?
it sounds like the firmware your flashing has the crrier csc in it

Yup. Your link goes to USA (USC) and USC is the carrier US Cellular
ah ok ive never heard of that before, but i was out the game a while.......
maybe try an "UNKNOWN" version, but be warned, it may not be optimised to run on your specific network, so speeds "may" be lower

What is failing? What is the error?
If Odin is failing it's your version of Odin is not correct
I had this problem in the past with other Samsung phones, so I only buy from Samsung.. I could never get around it. Maybe there’s a hexadecimal editor if you’re feeling brave… but can you even get root with a carrier device?
