Battery drainig fast after update to marshmallow

I got ota update in my moto g3..nw I m in marshmallow.. But the main prob is after update to marshmallow I m getting lower battery backup than lollipop 5.1.1 ..
Then I talked to moto tech support team , they told me to do factory reset,n turnoff WiFi n Bluetooth scanning..I did all things but still battery drainig very faster than lolipop..hlp

Normally battery take's some time calibrate so its normal ATM, By the way u hard rested from recovery...?

No I just did factory reset from settings menu..as told by moto tech support team..but no result..I m using marshmallow sinc last 12 days.. Till nw same prob

Try to Hard Reset from recovery, Cose after OTA update i think hard reset is a good idea....

I did yesterday.. But no improvement... I will use it for next 15 days..if I won't get ny resolution.. Dn I will be back to lolipop..

Could you please port miui 8 for trend plus too, i am using trend plus and kylepro and kyleprods has almost the same device tree, so could you please port it. Really love miui.

It takes 15 minutes too boot and again says process system has stopped again leavin that for some time then it
takes 15 more minutes to reach the setup

hey and have you tried porting the rom from patchrom??
I will give you the repo of patchrom from the device you can use commits from that to fix rejects.

Who else got second oreo update ver 3.250 ? It's 1628,7 mb ? Maybe it's a bug, I assume they sending me the same version I've already installed so I want to check in with you guys.
Also, does anyone know anything about 8.1 beta ? Gsm arena has reported Juhos announcement.

Nothing like expected. Porting is actually really hard, I tried to port LineageOS and RR but it's bootloping. I wanted to port from Leagoo M8 Pro which have same CPU and GPU. Also that Roms have same kernel version. I think it's bootloping because it misses lib64 and fakelibs64 folder. But it's working fine on their device.
I'd love someone to help porting

if you can enter fastboot then you're good to go, if you can enter fastboot you just need OST LA and Nokia .nb0 ROM and that's it.

Pie update 9.0.0.186!

I was waiting for 9.0.0.185 but got 9.0.0.186! Wow what a surprise. Hopefully this fixes alot of stuff.

Yep got 186 this morning. Just curious what are you hoping it'll fix. As I'm not having any issues...

Dark mode is not available as a toggle in pie. Still have to use a dark theme to compensate for this. The volume of the dual speakers is not as loud as in Oreo. Just these minor issues. Overall Pie is working well.

OK. I never needed or wanted a dark mode so I guess I'm not missing or wanting it.
I mentioned on another thread that to me the volume of pie is about the same as Oreo. Maybe it's just me.

I didn't need to. Everything is working fine. The only thing I had to do was sideload Google Play Store apk as the new firmware doesn't have it.

Seems OK for me.... But I have only had Pie for a couple of days. Too early to tell. But from using the phone it seems OK.
A few people on this forum have said that Pie is worse than Oreo for battery life. And speaker volume is quieter also....

I have so many issues with my phone. Apps are managed terribly. Battery drain and battery health, some apps don't work on wlan and notifications don't work for standard apps like messenger and outlook until I open the app. Basically the most important parts of a smartphone don't function properly.

with 186 I can't activate Google assistant with voice command 'ok google', spent 30 minutes still couldn't find where the setting was. Any help?

I got the update via OTA. Bootloader is locked by default. I've never seen on unlock in developer options..

Initially, the P2XL was the same way. You had 2-3 different versions for several months. It's likely that there will only be one version from here on out since google has apparently figured things out :good::good:
