[AOSF]The Flamingo OS initiative.

Hello everyone,
Today I hereby announce the initiation of The Flamingo OS project.
Anybody who wants to join this project can join. Following are the qualifications:
*Should have little knowledge of source building.
*Should be knowing about custom roms.
*Should have knowledge of linux commands(This is optional).
Purely CyanogenMod based rom.
Flamingo OS will be actually initiated in May.
Anybody who wants to join must qualify the above. Anyone who has good knowledge of developing websites and has money can also apply.

What do you mean. I am going to make it in may. Right now haven't yet started an organization on Github. But gonna make soon.

good news is i had found complete mtk sources and compiled rom out of it succesfully
and not so good news is
sources are of 4.1.2 and im new to this so i need developers help

i know you have made latest cwm recovery for a116..
can also make it for a110 as we need upgradation to flash kitkat based roms..
also the recovery should have selinux..

We can make it ourselves, with selinux, but it requires work. Are you going to help @WalkerBales. Also we can flash it through bond bro's CTR recovery or by varunchitre15's twrp 2.5.0.0.

I don't know where else to post it, no one looks at the Q & A, and this is strictly for the 7", so yolo. But here you go. I want everyone to tell me a rom they favor, that's not here already, or that was stopped on development a few versions back. Which ever rom (or maybe couple of roms) I see most, I will build. Check my signature for the ROMs I've done on the S5.

Can you port Tab 3 or tab 4 Stock Touchwiz UI rom..?

Carbon Rom Lollipop
I would like carbon rom 5.1.1 for p3110

I would love to see either Optipop or Broken OS. They are both fast, mostly stable and have layers, which I prefer over CM theme engine. I took a quick look over in the S5 forum and saw that you are juggling at least 3 roms, impressive!
Hopefully, you can find the time to build one of these roms mentioned above. :laugh:

i guess android-andi stopped the development of sungsonic HD and i think he would allow(only my view ,don't know what he thinks of it) other developer to continue the project if asked permission from him. At the end,it's all about samsung tab 2 getting new lives.

[PATCH] Partially video fix for Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite (s7390/s7392)

This is a patch that only enables the software decoder on 4.4.4 AOSP based roms for Trend Lite​
With that fix you will be able to watch videos, but the max resolution is 360p
Install instructions:​
You have to use CWM or TWRP
make a full backup of device
reboot your device in recovery mode
flash the .zip file
wipe /cache and /dalvikcache
reboot device
and don't forget to enjoy

Tez works on all ROMs, you just have to disable telephony permission for Google Play services.
Charging speed is good enough and DT2W can be enabled using kernel manager.

Have install the rom and so far the rom are pretty much very smooth.. does not found any bug yet will update later.. And for those who ask if DT2W it available and can be found using EX kernel Manager.. Correct me if im wrong.. Overall very good rom..
