It is not possible to make Cyanogenmod at the moment due to unavailibity of sources. But still there's a possiblity in the future.

We need source code for our chipset from mediatek or micromax which are not fully available.
CM source doesn't mean every device can have CM

[REQUEST] Miui port

whats up guys..so now we have the car kernel thanks to Varun..appreciate ur work btw..I think devs can now start working on the Miui Roms..and why don't make it official we know that some developer are working with omni ROM secs so I hope somebody will be the xl maintainer in Miui..our device is worthy of having all good Roms..

I have tried to port the MIUI V6 from Nexus 5 rom but without success till this moment. It just get stuck on the boot screen. Will try to solve the issue and will share the update if I achieve any?

appreciate all efforts dude hope someone can help u..all I can give u is moral support which we need it for devs in this community

You can not expect STABLE MIUI unless we have a full stable AOSP/CM
Once we have one stable ROM from any of above, I think we can have other ROMS as well. Also, the CAF kernel needs to be fully stable.
Once both of them are fixed, I am sure we will see some new roms at Xperia L forum

Can you try to port from another device which has same CPU, GPU and display (4"-4.5")?

I am trying to do that as it would be lot easier. But I don't see any other devices in which miui V6 is ported. Please share me the device name and link if you find any.

I prefer porting MIUI but will try to port Lewa OS in the mean time. Thanx for the link.
Though i doubt it will boot as its on android version 4.1.2.

Don't forget to replace our 4.1 kernel's BOOTCLASSPATH with LewaOS's bootclasspath (if available) to make it bootable :good:

What's up guys..is there any news about anyone working on miui..we now have official cm and omni..it's all good but i think miui is the most unique one it seems like a different os..hope that there is someone workin on it

Miui source code has been released on GitHub back in December, so it's definitely possible to port it. It's also KitKat based.

i'm too trying to build it from redmi 1s rom after completion i'm having build and update script and build prop of armani(redmi 1s ) i don't know why its building armani instead of taoshan .i have built the rom using android kitchen followed every step carefully .
i have selected taoshan zip first then redmi's rom which i was trying to port finally i'm finishing with armani build .

Carbon Rom Lollipop
I would like carbon rom 5.1.1 for p3110

I would love to see either Optipop or Broken OS. They are both fast, mostly stable and have layers, which I prefer over CM theme engine. I took a quick look over in the S5 forum and saw that you are juggling at least 3 roms, impressive!
Hopefully, you can find the time to build one of these roms mentioned above. :laugh:

i guess android-andi stopped the development of sungsonic HD and i think he would allow(only my view ,don't know what he thinks of it) other developer to continue the project if asked permission from him. At the end,it's all about samsung tab 2 getting new lives.

I love omni, carbon and slim

Resurrection rimix gives more features or great look, so i think this will be a good work for all users .
Thanx to make this poll.

I think mokee rom would be nice. I've only use that and Resurrection ROM before.

Yes Resurrection remix is already available but that has too much glitches .
need to recompile that with latest updated kernel and resources.

Currently ResurrectionRemix is number one. When I will find time in the next days I will compile this rom .

I don't know. You are the OP I think many users here are familiar with Euphoria OS already (earlier it was Mahdi ROM, Euphoria since 5.0). It is a wonderful features packed ROM IMO.

I will build ResurrectionRemix and reset the poll . But currently I'm working on some other devices so the release will take a little bit longer.
