After factory resetting my gear I can't download anything from the app store. I get a message saying "an error occurred while transferring files to your gear."
So what am i supposed to do about this? Now I can't get any of my apps or watch faces back. Also on the gear app when I go to select watch faces it just tells me to "please wait" and doesn't do anything after.

SM-R760. Firmware R760XXU2BQC5 Galaxy s7 edge. I've also noticed S-voice doesn't work for me when im connected through bluetooth and my data is on. It used to work with data on but now it only works when im remotely connected through wifi
Also I can't use S-voice. For some reason it tells me there isn't a connection but im connected through bluetooth and my phone data is on...Could it be something I disabled on my phone or I didn't agree to something after i factory resetted?

Only standard crap... like.
Start again from scratch...
Maybe you have chance to use second/other handset... to check if it is handset/Gear Manager problem...
Or problem inside Gear device...
Maybe deinstall Samsung Gear/ Gear Manager Software from handset... all parts...
And download again from Store...
I have at the moment no idea, if recently any changes happend to Gear Plugin or main app...

Any chance to test second device?
I mean maybe your friends or family have Samsung handset... to find out.
If problem is on Handset... or on Gear S3 site...
Most of my problems I can solve easier, if I have more then1 device for test...
It is much harder to find reason or solution... if you have only 1 device and nothing to compare...

Hmm, power on trick... if power key is damaged...
With USB cable... Charger...
Hmmmm... its long time ago my experiments with my S3 Collection... I mean GT-I9300...
I have tried many half dead PCBs...
And Power on...
Maybe I did it in this way...
DL Mode JIG...
Hmm... you should be able to reach Download Mode... connected to Odin... then...

As first time I had no Power Key... this plastique part...
Depend on how high emergency is...
But I am sure you will find solution... how to try with second phone...

No its not that. The little button on the circuit board is messed up so even when its not pressed it thinks it is pressed and it thinks its staying pressed so it turns off and on by itself

You tried meanwhile second Handset...
To be sure your handset/Gear Manager combination is fine... and problem is on Gear...
Or maybe your Gear is supidupi okay... but something happens to your handset...
Maybe any kind of Updates...
Maybe it is some Security "magic" like this:

I can't install the gear app on my galaxy s3 because it's rooted but I have a feeling the problem is the gear app itself...maybe there is a bug and it will work when it is updated next. That's the only thing I can possibly think of
Also I have problem with galaxy app to gear s3.
I can't update and download application on galaxy app to gear s3. My phone is note 3 and rooted.

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy grand prime (SM-G530H) and I bought Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 classic smart watch. I tried to download the Samsung Gear from the internet. I can pair the watch with my phone through Bluetooth well, but when I use Samsung Gear application to connect to my S2 watch, a message appears "Gear Not found".
please, try to help me to connect my phone with the watch, since I can't buy another phone nowadays, since I'm really broke. I just wanted to try out that watch and paid all what i had to get it.

Are you just rooted our have you installed a custom Rom? Also have you disabled any apps/services?

Well, my phone was rooted long time ago. I know now that Samsung Gear S2 is only compatible with Android phones with RAM bigger than 1.5 GB, but I'm sure there is a solution so that my phone can be connected to the my gear watch, since it's just useless now!

Try to pair the phone to the watch using the Samsung Gear app first, do not pair the watch to the phone under Bluetooth connections.
Also, there are files that many people remove when they are trying to lighten up roms. Your best bet is to backup your current Rom and flash a pure stock Rom. If you can't get things connected that way, you know it's a device compatibility issue

You may be able to do that with Task2 on the S2 and Tasker running on your phone. I use Task2 to set my phone on vibrate and to do some other things with it.

What item do I need in my car, for using this function on my Samsung Gear S3 ?
Nothing is needed in your car. You simply record your loaction within the app as soon as you've parked. It notes your GPS location so is able to guide you back if you need it to.
The app states you need car mode installed on your phone to make it work. Just in case you didn't know.

States it's for Galaxy phones, not sure the compatibility of others if that's the case for you. Tried reading reviews to see if others who didn't have a Samsung had any problems and didn't see anything.

I see many people buying S3 still. Prices are way down now so its a good deal. Would be shame if they wouldnt update. Im still waiting for HR alarms they promised long time ago. Manual of the device got already updated to have this functionality but the watch did not.

I hear a lot of concerns about battery life, but on my G3 Frontier, which stays on 24/7, is worn all the time, save for a shower, having the flip wrist to wake up and rotate the bezel to wake up off, I'm getting a little over 3 1/2 days of battery life. My phone goes off at 11pm to 6am with no wi-fi to keep it connected. I can charge it on Sunday night, take it off the charger and put it on, and Thursday afternoon, the battery will be at 18%.
Anyone else get that kind of battery life?

Samsung galaxy 9s+ connecting with Samsung frontier s3. Watch was starting to lose connection with phone. I did a reset on the watch but now when I go to start setup phone is not finding watch at all. Steps I've taken: clear cache on both Bluetooth and wearable, deleted and reinstalled wearable app, restarted phone and watch multiple times. But still the phone does not see my watch. I do not remember authorizing any updates, but this started last year in December. And I did have it set to auto update. I had called Samsung support they told me my battery was shot and they could replace it and since my warrenty was expired it would be almost 200.00. So the watch has been sitting since then.
