[Q] AT&T LG G3 Lollipop Update

Hi guys.I had an Xperia Z since yesterday,when i bought an AT&T LG G3.I'm from Romania and the man from whom I bought it got it from the USA.When I want to make the software update,it tells me that the latest version is installed.But the version i have is 4.4.2,and the latest is Lollipop...
So,is there a way to do the software update?I wouldn't like to install CM 12.1 because,from what i've read,it's full of bugs...

This has been asked a good amount of times in just a few days. No you cannot. You'd have to root , flash twrp, and then flash a rom that you'd want to use.

Since you don't have att service in your country you have no option but root, flash tarp and flash the rom of your preference.

I have rooted the phone and i've installed twrp,but i didn't find a good,stable ROM.Can you reccomend me one good ROM?

If you read the "Index" thread, you could find this, which is what I think you want: Stock Lollipop 5.0.1
Of course, official (nightly) for cm12.1 just came out. Find that yourself.

i rooted mt phone and after a day i unrooted it . Now when i try to update my phone it wont update cz it say its suspected of rooting.
How can i flash the stock rom for this phone ? and where can i download the stock rom for this model ?like how can i get it back to normal and then update ? plz help

If it's a Fido phone, there is a KDZ available

Do you have 5.1 or 5.0 on fido ? With videotron, we're stuck a 5.0 and it's full of bug and very laggy.

5.1.1 is available, but I haven't updated. I am not able to attain root and don't wish to make it harder with an update. Otherwise, the system runs stable at 5.0.2

I have 5.0.2 and don't notice many bugs if any. Battery life is excellent l, 2-3 days if not used much.
I have a fido lg Stylo h636 and want to update too but I've rooted with king root. What a mistake because now I can't update. Any fix for this?

Use this link, but replace "IMEI" with your imei. You can get it by dialing *#06#. This should give you a link to a kdz file

there is a H636 KDZ files , so i believe i do will be safe if you give it a shot about trying either of the Root Methods and if you manage to get Root access someone from the Stylo scene can help and port TWRP for you guys.
KDZ can be found in my thread (Thanks @asidorowicz for the KDZ download link)

KDZ are like Factory Device Restore File, having the KDZ is like a having a Doctor next to you when come to Un-brick/Full Restore/Unroot you device , I don't know which LP version this KDZ is but if this v10i is 5.1.1. and you are on 5.0.2 you'll be like Updating your device to the Latest android/software available on your carrier.

doesn't matter which version you have the KDZ method (which is not mine btw ) will still work but in this case i don't know if v10K is actually a better update than v10i.

The v10k KDZ is been release check my KDZ link from preview post if you need to download

i reostred my phone using the method u tolled me before , and i restored it to the version 10i. But the andriod version is still on 5.0.2 everytime i check for update it say there is no update. isnt there 5.1.1 update for this ?
if i want to restore my phone again can i install the 10j version on it ? mine is the Canadian version phone.

try using the v10k KDZ that's the latest software firmware for you device,
P.S. i don't know which LP version is v10k but i know is the latest release.

YES, using KDZ method will erase all/every trace of root/custom recovery and all that so you'll be able to get OTA's

D580 Official M Rom ?

Where is the offical M rom for D850 ? Some people says released but I can not find it anywhere.

The firmware update itself is released. But there is no flashable firmware. And most likely they won't be one.

The update was released via OTA so for now the only two ways to have the official update would be to be in the USA with an AT&T sim card and unrooted device, the other way is that someone that already got the update pull the system, boot, cust... partitions from their updated phones and upload them so somebody can make a flashable zip and have the ability to root the stock marshamallow for the D850...

Due to it will be a TOT file. The last Official flashable firmware for the D850 was Kitkat I believe. As well as like the G4 it took 6 months to get a TOT file, and that was only got due to someone from the inside.

But someone created a flash-able stock bump'd lollipop rom for D850. Is it not possible to get a flashable zip of stock MM rom of att and install it through TWRP..

Why there is no hope for a KDZ file for D850. Is it not possible for d850 to get firmware installed through KDZ file..

There is NEVER a kdz only tot files and tot method. If AT&T released kdz files that would put a end to the problem. But they do not. Every single LG device from AT&T and sprint is a tot file.

Modem + OS File from TWRP .. like we use to do for Lollipop ?

Dude just flash Fulmics in the LG-G3 thread runs nice on my D850. Its full stock MM with extras.

I'm on fulmics and I love it... but it would be great if we can get the official MM kernel for the D850 (it would mean faster boot time since it is not ported from the D855) and maybe the modem if it doesn't have conflicts with the bootloader of lollipop...
