I am having the above OTA appearing in Firmware Finder, though not yet approved for installation.
Anybody knowing anything about this update?

My girlfriend has a Mate 7 L09. I have noticed that it has been "stuck" on KITKAT 4.4.2 since the very beginning. Checking for OTA just gives the answer that there are no new available. However this device should be able to upgrade to 6.0. I was wondering why OTA's don't work and deceided to ask you. Do you have any ideas?
Have you tried to check the update availability through Hicare application? To me this was the only way to update the phone.
I have a MHA-L29C636B158 mate 9. I have rebranded the phone from the chinese firmware. MHA-L29C636B181 is available but i am not receiving any OTA updates. knowing that when i rebranded the phone i received an OTA update and thats it.
Please help
In your case you have to update manually via Firmware Finder.
After rebrand some users told that they received updates, other people told did not receive. So, it is better don't wait too much time and force update

In step when you will search for rom, type model MHA-L29BC636
Notice that B189 appeared (number 97776) - it is latest rom for C636 region on Android 7.0
Check firmware access without IMEI
And if yes, download and install it by guide.

i have OTA update L19C636B380, but when i go update my honor 8 its soft brick
i have to do a rollback again then flash firmwares etc, to get to L19C636B360 again
where is the problem? in the OTA update? or in my honor 8? and what to do so that i have the latest nougat update?
I also recovered from the same problem. 360 is fine. But updating to 380 brick my device. Even downloading the full firmware
Did you try to factory reset or hard reset your phone? It might help.

i have a L09 which updated perfectly and a AL00 which bricked , can you tell me which model you have?

I have Honor 9 version STF-L09C432B100, I have looked on the forum, and can see you can get Oreo updates since 5th / 11th Dec.
I saw you can get updated firmware from Firmware finder, I saw the latest 180 build, however checking this with imei, shows that is is not ready for my device.
2 questions
1. is it safe to get firmware like this?
2. Am I seeing this due to buying from Three (uk)?
It's safe, but if you're not approved it won't install through Firmware Finder.
But FYI this is the Mate 9 forum, not Honor 9.
Hi guys
I wanted to update the phone to Android 10, but seems like officially there is no such update for this model (MAR-LX1M EEA C431)
However, on FF, i spotted an update to the EMUI 10 but it's for the C432 despite the build model name it's the same I got (L21MEA). So my question is: It's possible to install it without any risk of brick? And also, Should I make a backup of the oeminfo?
Btw my phone it's full stock so no unlocked bootloader or root whatsoever
Open app 'Support' and in there click 'Updates'
There is no Update thing in the support section oh myHuawei
Also even if I check Hisuite and the software update it says the phone is at the latest update (9.1.0.426)
