What's the Best Marshmallow ROM/Kernel[6.0.1+] for Performance on Moto G

As the title says it Im looking for the best rom kernel mix on the Moto G to unleash the beast
Still want some nice features & tweaks tho
Also want battery life but that I can tweak a bit myself...
Really want best performance in multitasking and everything I do not play any games I dont care if my moto g cant play games I only want it to perform in what I do most often... as my moto g is the 8gb version:
-Surf the web on chrome alot
-Listen to different music apps
-Do some work
-FB/Messenger
-Hangouts sms
-Youtube
Want you guys to share what are the best ROMS/KERNELS for the best performance!

Kaminari Kernel UberTC5.3.x 1.6GHz CPU 533MHz GPU

Just my opinion: Presently if you wanna try CM based ROM, then give Resurrection remix a shot, with its inbuilt kernel. If you wanna go with AOSP then try Turbo ROM.

Okay yeah im pretty much going with cm I tried nexus experience,cm13,slimsaber I did not tried aosp will look your suggestions but yeah pretty much looking for best performance thanks for you answers

For performance? easily ZERO Byte kernel by @BryanByteZ. Overclock to 1.6ghz cpu and 600 mhz GPU (1.1 and 450 are the normal values)

Im trying to make my moto g last at least 4hs Sot, running smooth always and without lags in games. I want to know wich is the best combination so if anyone knows and want to share his experience, I would say, THANKS!
I'm using Cm13 temasek unofficial with kaminari cm13 kernel

I had been using CM 13 and Hurtsky Kernel since the release. I've had a hard time with that and now I moved to Identity Crisis which is based on stock and Kaminari Kernel. The performance is mind blowing and I get around 5 hours of SoT with heavy usage. UI is really fast and fluidic.

I used krexus caf and hurtsky's kernel and i gave around 4-5 Sot

i'm on the latest from DirtyUnicorn(10.6) with Valkyrie V6(hurtsky's) and i get 4-5hrs SOT on mobile data with sw2w enabled for a full charge (though i never let my battery go below 50%). NO xposed(greenify+amplify) installed. though i have disabled most of the non-essential services with MyAndroidTools.

My fvrt are:
MM: first IDcrisis 6+stock kernel. and 2nd is Krexus rom+stock kernel.
LP:
first is cm12.1 unofficial by fonz93+ stock kernel and 2nd is pure AOSP (official)

stable Nougat ROM?

Hi all, I'm gonna by a N5 so would like to know if the Nougat roms are already 100% stable for daily use or which are the main bugs. Which rom do you suggest for battery life? Thanks

all nougat roms are stable. I recomend Beltz rom by @setiawanjimmy + Elemental X kernel. I use it since release of beltz. No random reboots nor lags. Smooth and stable as hell

Current kernel configuration (through EX manager app):
governor:elementalx
GPU governor: simple or performance (was using both, now using performance)
max screen off freq: 1190 mhz
max cpu freq: 2,3 ghz
I get 3,5-4h (MAX i could get) SOT on Wifi and around 3h on LTE
Rom is really worth flashing. Rich customizations and great performance
oh, and it has latest OMS7 integrated

Of the nougat ROM choices I find DarkRom runs the smoothest and with best battery life. The downside is you will need to change recovery to CAF add it is aCAF nougat ROM

rom benchmarks

I figured id start a thred for roms and being benchmarked. If u are willing to help list phone, plus or non plus, Stock rom version. Rom, Kernel, And what base rom is. If anybody else can add to this list to help is figure who the top runners are please do.

Just because you are curious. No OC, balanced mode.
These don't mean anything to the actual performance of a ROM. Keep that in mind.

This is with Tesla 20170317 and ElementalX 1.04, overclocked. The downside is I had to switch back to the stock Tesla kernel because it ElementalX refused to see my sdcard. Not good!

Very true. Benchmarks are merely a rough indicator of overall performance under a fixed set of conditions. Actual use of a device will usually vary widely from the benchmark parameters.

Best ROM Nexus 5 Performance-Battery life

Hey I'm new on this forum and I got Nexus 5 since 2014 but the perfomance it's not the same as then. I was wondering what is the best ROM based on perfomace-battery life for my Nexus 5? In order to extend the use a little bit and got some extra battery life of course without losing performance.
So I hope you could help me with awesome ROM. Currently I'm using RR 7.1.2 but my battery started to expire quickly and performance it's not good with the time goes by. For that reason I'm looking new ROMs. Thanks!

I found using LineageOS 15.0 ROM had better battery life than RR, you can give it a try.

I'm Thinking on 4 ROMs right now, LineageOS, Dark ROM, Resurrection Remix (last version December) and Paranoid Android. I was using RR version August 20th 2017 but my battery life didn't last long, so I wanted to try others ROMs based on recommendations of performance and battery life duration.

WARNING: DON'T COME TO ME COMPLAINING THAT YOU BRICKED YOUR DEVICE. YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE WARNINGS
Here's the best set up I've found, LineageOS 14.1 Nightly, Franco Kernel rk113 3.4.0, SuperSU v2.82, and No Frills CPU Controller. Franco Kernel increases battery life crazily on it's own, then add LineageOS and SuperSU and use No Frills to underclock it. It lasts forever. You could even add the LG G2 battery mod to this and have a god tier battery.
Note though, flash LineageOS > SuperSU > Franco Kernel. If you flash the kernel before LineageOS it may be over written and your kernel will be messed up. (I know this for a fact will happen with Magisk 15.2). Before doing any of this make sure you have a back up using TWRP and/or Titanium Backup in case you mess up.

For this you're going to want to use ARM>7.1>Pico
You can install whatever else you want afterwards. You might also be able to use nano, haven't tested it.

Well I no longer have a Nexus 5 tbf, so i can't help ya there, just slowly turn it different items down until you get your preferred batery life/performance

Hello! OP, did you manage to get the setup Bigority recommended? If so, what's the performance you got out of the phone (preferably, an AnTuTu score)? And how's the battery?
P.S.: Asking these questions because I'm currently using an iPhone 5S and I'm thinking of replacing it with a Nexus 5.

Hi, I'm actually on stock 6.0.1 with Franco kernel on battery saving profile. The performance are ok except for the fact that the screen have to be always pretty dark.
I have really to try using the phone less as possible to reach the end of the day with one charge. Do you think that this rom and following configurations they can give to me a relevant better autonomy and performance? How is the stability?
