hi, I'd love for playback speed buttons on the video rather than placing 2 fingers up and down to change the speed, sometimes this gesture doesn't work, I would love for a + and - buttons to decrease and increase the playback speed. thank you.

● Okay, so I have been plagued by the stacked clock and volume issues on my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 8+.
After hours on the phone with Samsung, and countless google searches I have compiled some solutions and I wanted to share them with you.
● You've all seen the Youtube Videos telling you how the answer to all your dreams comes via the Theme including a Horizontal Lock Screen Clock. This is partially true, but as many of you know the clock changes back to stacked after you clear your notifications.
• Find your Theme with a Horizontal Lock Screen Clock. I use Minu Material_Black.

○ Next you need an apk that has a built in sticky notification optional setting.
• One such apk is also a partial solution to the volume problem, and it's called Speaker Boost. This apk ties to your media volume and also allows you to increase your volume past the factory limit. I have been using it on every Samsung device since my Sprint Epic 4G. It works best after a fresh boot.

☆ So now you have a Theme with a Horizontal Lock Screen Clock and an Apk with a sticky Notification optional setting to make the Clock STAY Horizontal on your Lock Screen with Speaker Boost control under it.
● Volume legally must be reduced every 20 hrs to 75% by your device without your consent automatically. The issue is if at that time you are using it the sliders all stay maxed even though it's actually only 75% volume.
○ The most annoying way to fix this is to reboot. That refreshes the 20 hr timer before you loose volume again.
○ A better option is to use an Apk.
• I use Bluetooth Volume Control. This Apk shows all of the volume sliders for your bluetooth devices with seperate sliders for call volume and media volume.

○ Okay, this part sucks but bare with me.
• Max out the volume dial on your Bluetooth device and your phone sliders.
• Power off your Bluetooth Device.
• lower the volume sliders to min in Bluetooth Volume Control Apk.
• Power on your Bluetooth Device.
• Increase volume sliders in Bluetooth Volume Control.
• Optional use Speaker Boost to go more, but not recommended to boost over 20%
○ Disable the warning.
• Settings/Sounds and Vibration/Volume 3 Dots upper right. Turn ON Media Volume Limiter and slide right.
☆ That fixed my call volume and media volume.
That's it gang I really hope this helps someone else!
Would be helpful if the screen rotation setting was retained for individual videos the same way things like zoom level or playback speed is, for example.
thank you ?
Hi and thanks for making this great app.
One small feature that would make it even better is the option to pan up/down only, not left/right.
I prefer the subtitles on the overlay, not partially on the video and partially on the overlay so I usually pan the video up a bit with two fingers, but it's impossible to avoid panning left/right a little at the same time, which always annoys me a little.
Hence my request.
Thank you and have a nice day.
I notice that the playback speed control has changed from step change buttons to a slider. While this is good for large jumps in speed it offers no fine control especially on a small screen.
Please bring back the ability to finely control the playback speed. %5 increments were perfect.
Perhaps a setup option to use a slider or the previous button style would be useful.
Or buttons with the slider.
FYI. For certain videos I prefer a 115% payback speed which was easily achieved when each video started. Now it is frustrating to try to get near the required playback speed with the slider. It's made the MX player experience a little worse unfortunately.
Hello again, there are some issues with MX Player on AndroidTV that have been present for almost a year now! I posted here last february but will summarize my findings in this post.
⦿ Black bars along top & bottom of letterbox video removed when using HW+ decoder, stretching the video height
⦿ D-pad navigation is messy in general. The issues are obvious and easy to reproduce, but vary slightly depending on version. Navigating left/right along the software buttons can jump into a different area of the ui (lower row to upper), sometimes skipping a button entirely (rewind 10s)
⦿ More of a plea than a bug, but changing "key up/down action" to brightness has no effect on AndroidTV. It's not uncommon for TV users to find they have been accidentally using reduced volume in MX for a length of time. An option to disable key up/down would be useful
