Hi Everyone....
I want to install this NFC payment app from my bank to pay with my Nexus 5 with custom Rom (Dark Rom 7.1.2) with Magisk hide + Magisk Root , everything passing Safety Net.
Problem is that it states that my device is not compatible. Put in touch with them, and they really support Android Nougat. My wife has a S Edge 6+ with Android Nougat, and she can install it.
My question is double :
· How can I know WHY the app refueses to download? I do not believe it's for the ROM / root / Safety Net, but I believe it's something related to my actual device? (I get this warning also from the google play website)
· How can I download this app securely? All the usual websites do not have it , and I'm not really confident to download it from a non trusted source.
Thanks.

Hey guys, I ask here for help because i'm unable to find a solution to this problem.
Here some information to my device:
OnePlus One
ROM lineage-14.1-20170807-UNOFFICIAL-Sultan-bacon
Root with Magisk v13.3
Magisk Hide is enabled
SafetyNet passed
Playstore shows Certified
No other modules.
Already tried
clearing PlayStore app data and reboot
DRM info from PlayStore, It's says supported.
Super Mario Run and other Apps that blocked for rootet devices appeared after i enabled Magisk Hide and passed SafetyNet, but i still cannot download Netflix.
I hope some of you have the same Problem or a solution for this.
I also dont see netflix on playstore. I live in VIetnam
I'm also experiencing this, tried with a couple of roms and it's the same on all of them. I think that maybe it's related to our opo that isn't completely eligible for nougat (no stock rom for it also) and google is blocking every opo+nougat regardless of actual safetynet status. It's only my thought though and waiting for a response from someone who knows for sure.
Have you tried PA yet? When I was on that ROM, I can install many apps which not available on Los and other ROM
I was on stock cos13 with magisk and it also didn't show up but it didn't really matter as I just downloaded the apk file
I thinks is on the kernel side that it detect the root , but try to download from apkmirror.com it should work fine
Updated everything to current versions. Still the same problem.
Is there any way to view the exact reasons why my device is not compatible?
This would be very bad.
On my girlfriends phone (Moto G3) everything is working fine. Same gapps and rom setup.
I finally got it working.
My current setup is:
- OnePlus One
- lineage-15.1-20180827-nightly-bacon
- Magisk-v17.0
| - Magisk Hide Enabled
| - Systemless Host Enabled
| - Hide Magisk Manager
- Magisk Module "Google Play Service Fix for Lenovo Vibe K5"
- open_gapps-arm-8.1-micro-20180901
It seems that it is necessary to falsify the device information, as Lisko has already mentioned, the OnePlus One is blocked by the Playstore for Netflix if the Android API is higher than the last official ota.
This is done by the Magisk module mentioned above.
Hey everyone, I had ADT in my shop earlier today installing a security system. It comes with an app they call ADT Pulse which lets me arm/disarm/receive alerts/update profiles/all the usual stuff you'd expect. The problem is for some ridiculous reason it's checking for root and I don't know why but Magisk Hide isn't able to hide it.
Are there any other options I have on this one? (attached a couple screenshots)
Thanks everyone.
Does your phone pass safetynet? If so, it could be detecting magisk which you could repackage to a random name
Are you running a custom kernel with the unlocked bootloader flag patched ?
While you certainly can post for help here, you're probably better off posting in the Magisk General Support Discussion thread. The most basic of questions is whether you're passing SafetyNet.

i had an app that magisk hide wasn't working with (i think it was concur or thinkorswim or an auth/2step app). also have patched kernel (flash 1.06) and passing safety net
i added the following to magisk hide and it started working. don't know which one did the trick, just added several to try, but haven't experienced any problems in over a month so i left em all added
android services library
android shared library
android_auto_generated_rro_....
chrome
come.google.android.gms.setup
device configuration
google connectivity services
google partner setup
google services framework
google support services
intent filter verification service
keep
key chain
Hey everyone sorry I wasn't getting alerts that there were responses here.
Magisk says:
SafetyNet Check Success
ctsProfile: true
basicIntegrity: true
I am not running a custom kernel.

When I read this I remembered seeing a setting in Magisk to repackage itself so I went in and did that without expecting it to be that easy of a fix. Turned out that it was!
Problem solved, many thanks as always for the input here.
Hello,
I have rooted my GPlay and installed TWRP.
Unfortunately my banking app detects the root and refuses to work.
I heard about Magisk which can be used to bypass this.
Can anyone tell me where to get this for my GPlay and how to install it?
I have TWRP 2.8.7.0 hw4c installed and SuperSU Free v2.68 (SuperSU-v2.68-SYSTEMMODE.zip)
Phone:
Model: CHC-U01
EMUI 4.0 Android 6
I've downloaded the Magisk App and try to install. But get this error:
Installation failed
Boot Image patched by unsupported programs
Please restore back to stock boot image
AFAIK any app, thus also banking / payment apps, can easily detect whether Android is rooted or not if they want to know this. Such a query cannot be intercepted.
I thought the app was exactly for that

A widespread misconception, thousands of times colported on the Internet as also here on XDA. The developers of banking / payments etc.pp. apps are quite certainly not as dumb as most Android modders / hackers assume.
Hi,
I have one root Z flip 3 and I can pair it without problems with my galaxy watch 4, the problem is when I try to add one card to samsung pay through the Watch plug in, whenever i try to do all works fine until the last moment when the watch disconnect from the phone. I have tried this with other phones and with my own Z flip without root and It works.
Maybe, someone in the forum have found a way to make it work.
Thank you.
Samsung Pay is secured by Knox.

I have already done that if not I couldnt even open the app of the Spay watch plugin, i dont know what can be the problem
Ive used Samsung Pay on my Pixel 2XL for over 6 months now using my Active 2, until i just swapped to the Watch 4 and can use Google Pay easily, yay
How i setup Samsung Pay (using Active 2) :
* Magisk (i still prefer older Magisk - Alpha 31 to be exact - last build before John started removing MagiskHide etc - and yes it stillworks on Android 12)
* MagiskHide Enabled - checked to pass SafetyNet
* Rename Magisk app (from settings)
* Tick apps in MagiskHide: All Samsung related apps, including watch plugins
Added modules after the above:
* Riru
* Riru-MomoHider (my mod to add all 4config options - note later Magisk builds may or not allow Riru, and if they do, some may not allow all Riru-MomoHider config options - best to check in main Magisk thread if you use the latest/bleeding edge)
The Riru/Riru-MomoHide setup will give you greater process isolation than MagiskHide itself....
Attached:
*Magisk - Alpha 31 (apk, you can sideload this apk from TWRP, TWRP doesnt care its not named as a zip, only its content- sideload apk, reboot then install the apk, as the flashed apk only installs the stub Magisk Manager, and you dont want it grabbing the latest Magisk Manager from the interwebs at the moment...)
*Riru (Riru must be installed first, and a reboot performed before adding Riru-Momohider)
*Riru-MomoHider (my mod with 4 config options set at module install, instead of having to manually do it)
Bonus info:
If youre a regular ROM flasher, you'll want to keep your watch connection and Samsung Pay working across flashes, i have a guide for that in my signature, basically involves keeping the same Android ID across flashes. I need to update it for Android 12, which ill do over the weekend...the Android ID changer app i use on Android 11 doesnt work on 12...
Note: Magisk Alpha 31 referenced in above post removed from post as its quite old now.....use either Official Magisk (details in my following post down the page) or Magisk Delta (and the modules from this post)

My post is not current except if you are using the (recent) unofficial Magisk Delta, which still has MagiskHide as an option, Delta can be found here:

This is not an officially supported topjohnwu project. If you are looking for official Magisk source, please go to this page Introduction Custom Magisk fork by HuskyDG. Sync with official Magisk adding back MagiskHide...

For mainstream/official Magisk, you should use Zygisk:
* Magisk 25.x
* Zygisk Enabled
* Rename Magisk app (from settings)
* Tick apps in Deny List: All Samsung related apps, including watch plugins
* DenyList Not Enforced (shamiko will handle this)
Added modules after the above:
* shamiko
all required files can be found in page 1 of this thread:

As for "has anyone tried it?", if you have already rooted with Magisk, then simply try it....waiting for some other random person to do something isnt my 1st thought process....magisk is systemless and you cant really hurt anything...
As the title suggest, I'm trying to bypass a root check for an app, more specifically MyMazda App. I have tried several different methods ( repacking Magisk, Root Cloak, LSposed/Xpirvacy, Unviersal SafteyFix Patch ). None seem to work, my bank, credit and stock exchange apps work completely fine along with every other app except this one. I'm running on a complete stock ROM.
I am running:
Oneplus 8 Pro
Android 11
OxygenOS 11.0.10.10.IN11AA
Magisk v24.1
This raised a few questions:
1. Is it even possible to bypass this apps root check?
2. If it is and when I do bypass it, will all the features work (ie. Remote Start/Stop, Remote Lock/Unlock, etc.)?
3. If there is no way, will downgrading Magisk to when MagiskHide was in the app?
4. And if I do need to downgrade, is there aspecific procedure for the Op8 Pro or is just like any other phone?
Sidenote: I am very new to this, I only just rooted my phone 2 days ago, without any issues thankfully, so I may have missed something important to one of the modules for it to work. Thank you in advanced!
Checking whether Android is rooted or not basically requires only 1 line of program code.

Interesting, then how come this app is causing so much issues compared to my banking apps and such?
