HTC U11 and Android Pay. - HTC U11 Questions & Answers

I've unlocked the bootloader and rooted it. I've tried using Android Pay and can't. Is it possible? I've heard conflicting reports.
Thanks for your help

Possible. Use Magisk v13 and check Magisk thread.

Thanks. I'm using Magisk V12 and I can't. I'll try v13. Do I just download and flash v13?

I would use uninstaller to delete current version and fresh install v13beta.. but it's just me.

Thanks. I'll try it!

Does OTA updating to YNG1TAS2I3 remove root?

Simple question. Does it remove root? If so, easiest XDA approved way of getting it back?

Xposed framework on stock ROM?

I've been out of the XDA game for awhile now since my last phone couldn't be rooted. I just got this phone, and immediately rooted it
Well, my question is can the xposed framework be installed on the stock ROM? Xposed seems to be really different since the last time I used it haha
If it can then what would I need to do to install it? Thanks to anyone in advance

Yeah, I had tried v80 first, but for some reason I would get an error message saying it wasn't the right platform even though it was the arm64 version. The v67 is the only one that flashes without any error

I had tried the 32 bit version on accident before, but same thing. I just keep getting that same error. That's why I was wondering if it's able to be installed on stock ROM

I had the same problem with the download from XDA thread, did a google, and installed from a different link(sorry, can't remember which) ARM64 v80. Works like a charm, except APM+ module doesn't work, and I can't find a module to center clock, and full statusbar mods. Just try different download. Good luck!

What version are you using? I have model 60450(Cricket) and used the guide for unlocking bootloader and rooting/installing TWRP (used Unjustifieds 3.0.0.1) I also use super su pro.

I do not have any doubt
For the 6045K stock rom model android version 5.0.2
The version is Xposed-v80-sdk21-arm64 :victory:
You can root and install Xposed without unlocking the bootloader

Root for MT7-L09 B571?

Hey guys!
I was wondering if anyone has rooted the latest update? If so, are you using the same TWRP and SuperSU as with B561?
I also have a question for those that use AndroidPay. Have any of you been able to use AP while rooted? If yes, can you please guide me in the right direction. I'm a big AP user and I hate that I would have to lose the ability to root my device in order to get it working.
Thanks in advance for the help!
I'm using 3.0.2 TWRP and SuperSU v2.64 Pro, and it works perfect.

Can you tell me, why do yo want to root your phone?
I root because I use xposed for Adblocker and youtube adaway... plus the deletion of Gapps that are of no use.

Just tried Magisk to make sure and worked as well.
Thanks good man, know of some notorious change how to really improve the battery or overheating there was in the 93-14?
Were you guys rooted before? If so, what exactly did you do so you could update?
I'm rooted with SuperSu and ElementalX Kernel right now. What would I need to do so I can install the OTA update, when it hits my phone?
I like too fresh install Android via abd then update and root, but you can always unroot you you are lazy to fresh install

Can someone upload a twrp backup with this update?
I'm using Magisk for root and Substratum for theming the navigation bar. Will updating over the changes made work?
PS - The bootloader is unlocked, of course.
