Firstly, I'm user of Note 5 T-Mobile version. I'm not developers.
I try to find out ROM for 920T, but many search results give support for other 920 version (SM - N920C, S, L,K, G,I,8,CD). only ROM KHONGLOI and NEWSTAR (nguyentankiet) support 920T.
I want to try new ROM as the other 920 modem. But I have problem with voice call when using ROM of 920C.
After many times to try and with the helps of nguyentankiet for his ROM NewSTAR (https://www.facebook.com/groups/ROMNEWSTAR/)
Now I can flash ROM from any 920 version.

I try with kernel v10 and v11.
It's boot OK
Maybe it has confict when you choose Supersu or maskgit root. When you flash ROM choose Supersu but when flash kernel you choose Masgik, it would be problem at boot.

I chose super su in aroma installer. I didn't choose magisk. I'll try again.

Try with Khongloi v11 Kernel first. In my experience, Khongloi Kernel is compatible for most ROM Nougat.

i tried the new FE note 7 port. Its good. AOD works well. just make sure when you install it dont install superuser and busybox from the rom, let the kernel install superuser/busybox. I think im gonna go back to marshmallow tekhd rom though. I miss xposed way too much! None of these roms have volume keys to skip music edit.

You mean when do the installation and bootup need to flash kernel for second time and that audio call fix?
The problem I have is that no signal in my phone. Look at the screenshot.

Im using right now Infinity Note FE 2.1 and works perfectly all. But security update is June 1. What works better future 4 or infinity 2.1?

Hi friend,
To me, Inifinity FE2.1 is better Future Fe4.0 at smooth and friendly battery.
If you don't care of battery, S8 port S6 should be a good ROM at performance.

Now I'm on INIFINITY DX3 Note 8 port.
Everything is now good.
Battery life friendly and on screen about 4h30-5h30.

I couldn't tell you. I never use xposed. The last I heard xposed needs to be fixed for lollipop.

Xposed does not work with 64 bit processors currently, but there is a workaround for lollipop which doesn't help us. If I'm incorrect on any of this please let me know.

I'll be happy to do it if I can find instructions for the mod. Things are going to be a bit crazy around here for a few because I'm picking up a new puppy today to welcome in our home so I'm not sure how soon I can get to this. Most likely I won't have much time during the day as I did in the past. I'm with you 100% on disabling the volume warning.

This thread is the most recent resource I'm aware of. Again, the 64x is the current hangup though so some hurdles need yet to be cleared. But there is still useful info in there as it pertains to 5.x Xposed so maybe you'll be the guy to make it happen. By all means no hurry, we're all on the front end of this thing right now anyway.
Also, congrats on the new pup. I had a rough time much like yourself recently re: the long time family pet. Glad to hear things are back on the upswing. :good:

Yes, if you are currently on OE2. If not you will need to Odin to OE2 with the full OE2 tar and then root with pingpong, install flashfire then flash this.

It sounds like you were on OC3 and not OE2. There was never a 5.0.1 for the VZW S6.

That's OK just Odin to OE2 with the link I posted above. When I get some more time I will try to make a flashable firmware file so we don't have to Odin the full tar for this. I'm not positive it will work but I'll give it a shot later today.

This is stock. Just DeOdexed, it allows themers, dev's, and so forth to make modding, themeing the Rom easier.

So far only having this phone for less than a week and just got this ROM installed two days ago and so far my battery life has increased quite noticeably during those two days, so wether or not the deodexing has anything to do with it I'm unaware

Noticeable difference between stock odex and this ROM. This ROM is better in terms of battery consumption - same apps. I am using TBO blacked out apps with this ROM though. Not sure if that helps the screen power demand a little bit.

I have I have tested in S6 Edge g925i. It works perfectly. It is a spectacular rom. Not only because of its similarity to Note 5, but also smooth, fast, versatile. No lags. It does not present any problems connecting to WiFi, 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE). There is no possibility of FC and also the Edge runs full screen. I've tried other Roms and truly do not have the fluidity of this. Great job, man. I just bought a T-mobile Note 5 so i would LOVE to get rid of all the bloatware they include, besides i kind of hate having boot up logos in my phone, i have used Canadian FW in my S4 so i guess this should just as good, im still downloading the file, would you please let me know how to flash this one? the usual Odin would work just fine? Thanks in advance.

Flash in twrp as per usual assuming you're rooted and what not. Also I'm on T-mobile so I flashed SkyHigh's kernel right after the rom then booted up - just to be doubly sure.

I'm not a big fan of tweaked kernels unless they are packaged with the rom but so question,
Do I have to install skyhigh with this rom or can i run it flat out of the box and be fine? I'm also running TmoUS variant

Yes its fine if you dont install it will keep the kernel you had before insalling rom but if yes you should install it again reason is for example for arter kernel it disables knox completely like knox libs and stuff which i cannot delete in rom zip coz i think something is depending on these libs because i got bootloop when i deleted these so
i hope it will make sense

Im having some extrange situation with my phone, whenever i make or receive a call it moves from LTE to H+ network, and every time its like people have a hard time listening me for a few seconds, probably due to the network switching, is this normal? Can i force/enable to use LTE network for voice as well? Thanks in advance.

Im assuming, since it's a Canadian base, like WiFi calling, there probably isn't VoLTE either. But just my guess.
Thanks for the reply, that might be the issue with the Note 5 running Canadian FW, but i hope there might be a workaround this.
Not the same device, but i was running official 5.0.1 canadian base on my S4 and didnt had the same behavior switching networks.

I'm on latest miui 11 beta 9.9.26 with Kangaroox kernel.. I tried magisk module but Miui camera and Gcam crashed again...

Have you rebooted of course!?
I dirty flashed 9.9.26 over 9.8.9, then used a few days and flashed Kangaroox just to try because I received that module update with that promising changelog.
Would you try flashing 9.8.9 and then 9.9.26 to check?

Faced the same problem, now again dirty flashed the ROM, waiting for proper fix, stock kernel is not good,

I think it's not necessarily the kernel but the fact the beta MIUI11 ROM is unoptimized and has a ton of lag. Xiaomi.eu devs said it's a known problem that will be fixed in future updates. Until then I'll put up with it since I need my camera

In true I updated the module when on 9.8.9 then flashed 9.9.26. Maybe this is the way.

guys, It works for me too. But at the first time, camera was crashed.
After trying many times, I find the procedure is :
- flash custom kernel
- flash magisk
- flash the camera patch
-reboot
After reboot, if your camera still crash then re-flash the custom kernel again, it will be successful.

So we should flash fix then custom kernel.... Ok will try tomorrow, because too much lag in stock kernel.

You need to update magisk to 19.4 beta for your camera to work properly, i use gcam 7.0

Are you using Indian Whyred or Global Whyred? I am using global Whyred, following all of these exact steps, and it is still crashing for me.
The phones respond very differently to certain patches so I believe it may be that my device is somehow different.

Im having redmi note 5 pro, im in india. But miui 11 shows redmi note 5 only, flash the rom, then flash the fix using magisk, and then flash the kernel
