Am working on a Deloated, Smooth, Speed ROM.. with Mods... stay tuned.

So. It's realy that simple - Download and Flashfire?
Even from CleanROM??

No sim?
Okay so I installed the rom and my sim wasn't recognized. Is this because I flashed from 5.0.1 not 5.0.2

Yes, if you are currently on OE2. If not you will need to Odin to OE2 with the full OE2 tar and then root with pingpong, install flashfire then flash this.

It sounds like you were on OC3 and not OE2. There was never a 5.0.1 for the VZW S6.

That's OK just Odin to OE2 with the link I posted above. When I get some more time I will try to make a flashable firmware file so we don't have to Odin the full tar for this. I'm not positive it will work but I'll give it a shot later today.

You are new to xda, so I will part some wisdom to you sir..
It is considered very bad Form to ever ask for an eta... Many times you will get blasted from many users... your first time so a gimmie..

This is stock. Just DeOdexed, it allows themers, dev's, and so forth to make modding, themeing the Rom easier.
Not poor form at all sir.

So far only having this phone for less than a week and just got this ROM installed two days ago and so far my battery life has increased quite noticeably during those two days, so wether or not the deodexing has anything to do with it I'm unaware

Noticeable difference between stock odex and this ROM. This ROM is better in terms of battery consumption - same apps. I am using TBO blacked out apps with this ROM though. Not sure if that helps the screen power demand a little bit.

There is only one O/C kernel that you can flash right after the ROM (however, I dont see the need on this device) and tablet mode will be forthcoming. Mods take time...

3) Click "Install" and select the ROM. Install it.

Known bugs:
-None so far, report them if needed.
Credits:
- Thanks to jrkruse, I used his OC4 ROM as a base. I also used his themes Settings and Messages apps.
- Thanks to AL_IRAQI, I used his layers themes. (This is the themed notification dropdown and keyboard.)
- Thanks to elliwigy, for answering many questions and for a list of debloatable things.
- Thanks to geohot for root, ChainFire for SuperSU (and FlashFire), and Hashcode for SafeStrap. Without these 3 people, none of these ROMs would be possible.

On a side note (pun not intended): I wonder how difficult it would be to port a Note 4 ROM over to this device...? They have almost identical specs...

Is it me or are there 4 forums with this rom ?
Downloaded and flashed. I had to use the 2nd file you posted for Odin.
So far it seems pretty smooth, I like the keyboard, the whole rom has a fresh feel to it.
The one thing that doesn't seem to work is the download booster.
I'm really looking forward to check out battery life
Thanks
Battery Mod not included?
Is there a jkruse Zip to flash for Dark Dialer and Contacts that is compatible with Plasma?
people still having weird bluetooth issues with this rom? It might just be all lollipop roms but im hopeful.
Needs a little work
The rom seems to lag here and there but majority of the time it runs smooth, as for the battery life... i mean no offense but its far from amazing . it seems like something system wise is taking a good chunk out of the battery. i checked all the user apps and stopped/uninstalled some them, however no improvement. On a good note the dark mode was a very smart move (thats what pretty much sold me flashing this rom) and the organization of the settings is nice also. i think everything in this roms is pretty awesome except for battery and lag.

I'll be happy to do it if I can find instructions for the mod. Things are going to be a bit crazy around here for a few because I'm picking up a new puppy today to welcome in our home so I'm not sure how soon I can get to this. Most likely I won't have much time during the day as I did in the past. I'm with you 100% on disabling the volume warning.

But there is still useful info in there as it pertains to 5.x Xposed so maybe you'll be the guy to make it happen. By all means no hurry, we're all on the front end of this thing right now anyway.
Also, congrats on the new pup. I had a rough time much like yourself recently re: the long time family pet. Glad to hear things are back on the upswing. :good:

Does this rom have a Brazilian Portuguese language?
When you guys say that the rom tripped Knox, means that the fingerprint scanner should work or not?
The Fingerprint Scanner still working on this rom?

Nice. It's good to see a DeOdexed version. I'll have to give it a whirl soon.

Super excited to try this! Does this mean xposed should work with this now cause it wouldn't work with touchwiz based?

This is still Touchwiz sir. This in only a rooted, stock rom. It is however a DeOdexed, which is one of the requirements for xposed. However, 64 bit systems are not supported at all

Hey thanks for the ROM man!
So making a deodexed version will enable to do mods like, disable high volume notification, center clock on status bar, disable low battery handicap that prevents you taking pics on low battery, custom boot animations and such? Is that the main reason to deodex to mod?

Yes that is one thing.. The virtues of DeOdexing and Odex in can be found many of plenty on Google... Pro's and Con's. However you don't have to DeOdexed, they can be done on an Odexed Rom, just harder, and many just won't do it.
This is a device and now venturing into 6 bit system, so I personally know out of all those you listed... I only know how to do one of them. So this will allow a Dev to create those mods easier

Good job and thanks - I'm looking forward to your debloated version.

I found this xposed for 64bit. You think this will work?
Thanks I just did a refresher on it. So what your doing is the foot work for developers pretty much. Are you planning on zip aligning soon. It sounds like the biggest difference is optimization for apks. So if someone took the time to create an odex ROM with the mods I listed, it would perform slightly faster? Anyways thanks for this and can't wait to see what's next. I heard you want to do a debloated version, any mods your gunning to incorporate with it first? Also I see that you said wipe first then flash, it's opposite with clean ROM is this from deodexing?

The ROM is zipaligned, I forgot to add that to the OP, thanx will do. Yes in a way, I did the footwork for other dev's to build upon.
In theroy yes mods that would be running in odexed would be slightly faster. But that truely that can be opinionated, subjective. I for one never had an issue nor truly cared. .5 vs .25 sec to open a screen or app, makes me no differeance.
No going to say names of mods, becuase then I become the devil if I dont get one in. Plus I am much slower as I am a noob at ROM dev myself..

I just bought a T-mobile Note 5 so i would LOVE to get rid of all the bloatware they include, besides i kind of hate having boot up logos in my phone, i have used Canadian FW in my S4 so i guess this should just as good, im still downloading the file, would you please let me know how to flash this one? the usual Odin would work just fine? Thanks in advance.

Flash in twrp as per usual assuming you're rooted and what not. Also I'm on T-mobile so I flashed SkyHigh's kernel right after the rom then booted up - just to be doubly sure.

I'm not a big fan of tweaked kernels unless they are packaged with the rom but so question,
Do I have to install skyhigh with this rom or can i run it flat out of the box and be fine? I'm also running TmoUS variant

Yes its fine if you dont install it will keep the kernel you had before insalling rom but if yes you should install it again reason is for example for arter kernel it disables knox completely like knox libs and stuff which i cannot delete in rom zip coz i think something is depending on these libs because i got bootloop when i deleted these so
i hope it will make sense
Cheers

Im having some extrange situation with my phone, whenever i make or receive a call it moves from LTE to H+ network, and every time its like people have a hard time listening me for a few seconds, probably due to the network switching, is this normal? Can i force/enable to use LTE network for voice as well? Thanks in advance.

Im assuming, since it's a Canadian base, like WiFi calling, there probably isn't VoLTE either. But just my guess.
Thanks for the reply, that might be the issue with the Note 5 running Canadian FW, but i hope there might be a workaround this.
Not the same device, but i was running official 5.0.1 canadian base on my S4 and didnt had the same behavior switching networks.
