Thats a great idea as there is no guarantee that j7 2015 will receive marshmallow update
I am looking forward to do this portation as no one is producing so much interest on this......bt the one thing is that i need the the original rom of j710f .....then only i can port it to j7 2015 edition....the rom is still not released in sammobile.com.....

Maybe a Dev here can port a ROM for you if you ask nicely

Wanna root and custom twrp for this.
It has exynos 7580,same as of j7 2015.
Only a red warning message is displayed on flashing twrp
RECOVERY NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING.

Will not work becoz here is only same confi. They are different devices on8 is j7xlte and j700h is i think j7xelte.
2nd reason twrp never worked for on8 i tried many times
It gone soft briked.
So changes is required in folders of j700h custom roms to work on on8(j7xlte)
1.Firmware folder
2. Etc folder
3. App folder in system
4. Meta inf (Update script will be different )

Hello guys I flashed a custom rom of to my j7 2016 but it seems that it is not rooted... How can I root? I have of course custom recovery and rom from Evo grace 1.3.5
Does anyone have installed ,for this device, a custom Rom based on Oreo? If yes, which one? It looks like there is nothing for this specific device.

Is it possible to install a custom ROM into Samsung J700H 2015? Because most of the TUTS and ROM's that I see on the internet only work in J700F.
