RELAX in a day or 2 A5 rom will be stable
Do galaxy on 8 and galaxy j7 2016 have same rom.if same can i use all the mods and roms of this forum on my galaxy on 8.also can i have a dedicated forum of my phone .because in india a llot of people do own galaxy on 8.

Hi. As you can see in this comparison chart, the On8 has more in common with the J7 (2015) see platform.
Maybe a Dev here can port a ROM for you if you ask nicely

Each of these fons have had their firmware ported for the J7 (2015) on this forum.

Wanna root and custom twrp for this.
It has exynos 7580,same as of j7 2015.
Only a red warning message is displayed on flashing twrp
RECOVERY NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING.
Please help

Will not work becoz here is only same confi. They are different devices on8 is j7xlte and j700h is i think j7xelte.
2nd reason twrp never worked for on8 i tried many times
It gone soft briked.
So changes is required in folders of j700h custom roms to work on on8(j7xlte)
1.Firmware folder
2. Etc folder
3. App folder in system
4. Meta inf (Update script will be different )

I wish this was an easy fix but it isnt. the 2015 and the 2016 models are not as interchangeable as you think. there is just enough of a difference in hardware that it makes the roms not interchangeable . It kind of sucks because i would love to try some of the 2015 roms. If i could learn how to port i would. The 2016 is in desperate need of a custom kernel
