I have tried everything I could find: clear cache, clear dalvik cache, reinstall market, reboot, reselect English language, Market Enabler, downgrade to previous versions, etc. but I am still having problems with Market on CM7
On my Kindle Fire I have installed CM7.2.0-RC0-blaze-KANG, Market 3.4.4 and Google Services Framework 2.3.4.
Market will start and will allow me to browse through apps and to see the list of my apps that need updating, but it closes when starting downloading.
Can anybody help? Thanks
Had something like that happen to me recently. I had been messing with different mods and ended up backing everything up and then doing a full wipe and re-install. Pain in the rear i know, but with Titanium bu re-installing was pretty easy.
Good luck!
BTW I wiped the sd card as well since I think some of the app info is kept there as well. You might get away with just wiping the .Android_secure folder
Thanks a lot Nandorian.
I'll wait a few more days to see if somebody else come up with some alternative suggestion and then I'll go ahead with full wipe and re-install.
The annoying thing is that it is exactly what I did to start with: factory reset, full wipe, sdcard, cache, dalvik cash and I never got Market to work
Additional info
In addition to the problem with Market, I am also unable to install Google Calendar Sync and Contact Sync. Are the issues related?
SOLVED!!!
OK! after trying and retrying with no success I have finally followed Nandorian suggestion, wiped my Kindle and started from scratch ... but even this was not straight forward and it took me several attempts :-(
