Hello Everyone,
I just grabed a RJ45 to USB Adapter to get some propper internet speed into my car for updating things like gmaps and tomtom.
Sadly, tomtom refuses the ethernet connection. it acts like it is a sort of 3G connection.
Now i was wondering if the xposed plugin here, could be used for solving this issue.
Could anyone tell me if this plugin would work on our MCTD Devies?

Kind regards

May be due to the wireless class...
May be due to the wireless class... i also have JASJAR and it only have wireless b, and most wireless modems are g. so the class doesn't match and as a result the connection can not be established... same thing happened to me... the options are to get the modem that support wireless IEXXXXb or get a wifi card for JASJAR as it only has built in b class. the card will support class g connections.... just google for the wifi card ( wifi SD card)...
hi all I have a htc tornado i have a wifi router in my house i use my wifi on my laptop.i have pc also in my house which does not have wifi connection on it so is there any way to use my Tornado's wifi to get connectivity on my Pc.Help required plese
im not sure, i think i tried a long time ago but not sure of the results. but you could always go buy a usb wifi adapter. they are very cheap. you could probably find one on craigslist for 10-20 bucks
I can't sure, But U can try the WiFiFoFum
Good luck!
Not got any usful answers yet plz help.........
There is no support like this yet. Since Activesync connection sharing only works with the GPRS connection on your phone. (You dial the dial up number on your PC which connects GPRS on your phone and your PC to Internet via GPRS)
Get a ethernet bridge or Asus router and use DD-WRT. I don't like how usb adapters work* when you can just simply use ethernet standard not relying non stardard drivers from manufacturers.

* I had bad experiance with netgear because lack of support vista 64 bit then later windows 7 64bit
I'm developing a remote control app that will use wifi to communicate with my car stereo. The car stereo has ethernet, and I have the ethernet wired to a wireless AP in my trunk. This works great, but since the phone has a wifi connection, it wants to use it to reach the internet, which it can't do when my car is away from home.
What I'd like to do is develop a script that I can run to route LAN traffic through wifi, but WAN (internet) traffic through the cell data connection. I dug a bit into this issue, and found this suggestion, but it doesn't seem to work, even after adjusting the routing table with a default route through the rmnet0 interface and bringing up the rmnet0 interface with ifconfig.
It kinda seems like something in the OS is disabling the 3G hardware when wifi is active. Is that a known behavior, and if so, does anyone have any pointers on how I can circumvent it? I found this post where someone got working on a different phone. Can this be done on the Nexus S?
Bump.. anyone have any ideas?
Hello everyone,
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1(GT-P5113) with an USB to Ethernet adapter. My ethernet connection is up and running and I can surf the web without any problem. The problem is some apps are using wifi/3G by default and can't use anything else. So I was wondering if it was possible to bridge the ethernet connection to the wifi... Or if you have other solutions to resolve this situation let me know. It would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
Hi, i've a big problem with Ethernet.
I've just received my new T-R42 (with bluetooth model) but I think the problem i have isn't related to the device.
I've a PC->Modem->Router<--------PowerLine------>T-R42
I can't use the Ethernet on the R42.... only a weak wifi, which is why I bought a device with Ethernet in the first place....
I think the problem may lie somewhere around router definitions/local area connection definitions/maybe i need to set a static ip for some reason in the android device.
btw, with a different device (streamer) i have networking out of the box (instead of the R42 i mean)
Anyone had this ?
Android 4.2.2
Thanks....
solved. Bad cable......
