My Motorola x style can't boot in fastboot mode . how to solve hard brick in moto x style. Please help me ... :crying::crying::crying:
first, did this happen while you were trying or unlock your phone 's boot-loader and/or after attempting to root it?
Also are you still able to use the stock ROM because there are ways to revert back to the original ROM of your phone if you look in the right places and know what you need.
from the issues I faced with my Motorola X (American variant), myself, it would be wise to go to the Motorola website and search in the forums section for how to unbrick the Moto X Style
Hope this somehow helps :good:

Hello guys.
I'm considering to buy this phone since it packs some great hardware, it looks great, it has a big battery and now has official CM support!
(I lost my Xperia T a couple of weeks ago so now I am looking for its replacement)
Given the various versions (Verizon, global, developer edition), I am wondering if somebody could show me which threads are related to rooting the European version (Razr HD), changing the recovery and installing CM?
Thanks a lot.
I have some experience installing custom software to my devices (LG Optimus One, LG Optimus 2X, HP Touchpad and Huawei Mediapad), but Motorola is not know to be very developer-friendly, so I would like to check how it works before I do buy the phone.
Thanks in advance.
This guide should help:
http://www.andromods.com/basic-how-...ootloader-motorola-unlocking-tool-online.html
Follow their link to the Motorola unlock tool and make sure you have the correct drivers. Once you have the bootloader unlocked, you can push a custom recovery in fastboot, then flash SU binaries, ROMs, and whatever else you want.
EDIT: Whoops, missed the part where you said you don't actually have the phone yet. Well, in my opinion it's still a pretty simple process if you've flashed custom software on your previous devices.
Thanks a lot.

try cwm
I available the official TWRP recovery, higly recommended. Go to their official site, look for your specific device and install it through adb fastboot
So I have a Boost Moto G(1031) that I unlocked the Bootloader on & put the stock Verizon Moto G(XT1028) firmware on so I can OTA on Page Plus & make Life easier later. I was wondering if any one has tried to put the Verizon CM on this device setup like this or any other Verizon Rom for that matter. If so did it work?, Brick it? Error Out? what was the result's & what Version of android were you on when you tried this? I would like to have the latest Cyanogenmod 11 for Moto G on my device but some places I see 1028 & others I see 1031 so just wondering the outcome before I try cause im sure someone has tried this already. Thanks for any info
Boost Moto G with Verizon rom
I have the Boost Moto G programmed for PagePlus also. I have installed several of the rom's, both cm and asop with no problems such as "brick" or looping as you are worried about. Each of the different rom's seem to have their own issues you probably have read about in the forums.
I'm no expert, but I think as long as you have adb and fastboot figured out and follow the guides you'll do alright.
Currently I'm using the Flashable ZIP Stock Motorola firmware in the development forum and it is working very well for me.
I'm using Android version 4.4.4
Good Luck!

Right on. Yea all custom roms seem to have their own issues whatever they may be. I'm as well on 4.4.4 stock I haven't rooted yet cause I wasn't sure if I would be able to use the Roms for a Verizon device & hadn't seen any info on it. Thanks for the info I'll get her rooted & start playing yay!!
Hi i have a problem, i am trying to put the stock rom in my moto x, couse now i have on my decive the liquidsmooth 4.4.4 but im tired of it couse of bugs. I cant use my bluetooth on my car and i cant use the microphone on whatsapp but whatever.... I already followed many guides but everytime i found the same error.
So as first i downloaed the stock rom from the motorola web site. I download the FR version 4.4.2 cause my moto x is the xt1052 variant.
Than i istalled all the drivers and the motorola device manager. After that i 2 different metod but both gave me the same error.
The first one was manually flashing the stock rom with the prompt command adb bla bla bla but there is always the error ( Downgrade security version.....)
the second time i tryd using RSD Lite and same happen.
I already modified the file removing (<step operation="getvar" var="max-download-size" />)
What can i do? Sorry for my bad englis:crying:h
Hi,
It sounds to me like you're trying to downgrade your Android version. That's a very bad idea on a Moto X, and usually ends in bricking the device. Whatever the last stock Android version you were on, is the one you need to return to.
This guide has a "returning to stock" section. You can also ask for help here,
> Moto X > Moto X General > [REF]The Complete Moto X Guides/Information Thread
Good luck!
Here is another guide with videos also,
Thanks to @Perseus71 for the link!
