It's a paid add on, but the latest version of Substratum has basic Samsung support without root. It's pretty limited right now, but I expect it will get better as themes update themes and the app is worked on further.

My launcher is a close to AOSP launcher that only changes the necessary code to allow for small extensions and backporting to older Android versions. If you want a more feature packed launcher use Nova, Action or Lawnchair. I focus on simplicity and rock solid stability. If you do not agree with that and would rather have experimental features, you are in the wrong thread.

I am having issues installing this on a Nexus 6P with the latest Android O developer preview installed. Installation progress bar freezes at about the 90% mark and the installation fails. Has anyone been able to successfully install this on a device running the O developer preview?

Ended up wiping and starting fresh with the O developer preview. After doing so, Launcher3 installed without issue. Is there any way to get the Pixel icons working with this? I downloaded the Pixel icons for 7.1.2 from apk mirror, but it doesn't seem to have taken. Thanks.

Its like dream come true for me... using it on my Galaxy S8... But I have two requests and an issue:
1. could your please support pixel exclusive automatic round icons for supported apps... it is possible as Action Launcher 3 has this feature with Round Icon Option on non rooted phone.
2. Is it possible to overwrite app closing animation like stock android (slide down). this feature is available in Nova Launcher through "Reveal App Animation". I don't like the default zoom out closing app animation of my Galaxy S8.
3. Check the screenshot: the Navigation bar color is muted .. not white .. gray color.. this is related to Poor Samsung design... Nova launcher has fixed the issue... But each and every other 3rd party launcher has same problem.. kindly look into the matter..! Thanks..

- Possibly fixed Samsung's Secure Folder and MIUI from causing crashes
- Updated the requested Google Now overlay version from v0 to v5, like the O Pixel Launcher
- (EXTREMELY EXPERIMENTAL) added an entire library of obfuscated code to get the app shortcut row working
- Added a toggle for the app shortcuts, so you can disable them if they do not work properly
- Force the Pixel colours throughout the app, including the widgets and preferences
There is also a version without the entire app suggestions library in it, if it causes any problems you should try that one.
Anyway to get round icons without needing to change systemui or have root access ?

I have only one theme downloaded to my phone (Purple Tech by prapas chantavali, from the samsung theme store/app), and I like it, mostly for the purple color. Most themes I saw on substratum and here are dark themed but with barely any purple; and for what themes not on substratum, they say "its trial only, but use root explorer, move/delete some stuff, and its free"
TL;DR for a person who has a qualcomm s7 and therefore can't root or flash, what really are my choices for themes. and for those hosted on either substratum or here, are any of them purple and free? free themes with no ads are really preferred

The only thing that you can do is to purchase it over playstore or Samsung theme store.... Because Samsung is a heavy modified UI most of the themers are selling their themes (for a good reason)
I've been thinking about building themes and starting a thread, I've already tested on my wife's phone, and only takes 2 apks(font/theme).
I'll post my current personal theme, I can do quite a bit theme wise. If your interested. I can explain what I am able to include and exclude.
It's a quick look, but almost all stock Google and Samsung apps are covered, system interfaces included.

Hi, first time posting so no doubt I've probably posted in the wrong spot, wrong format or given a remedial, uninformed, dumbarse response, or a combo of everything all at once.
No biggie, considering my noob questions about rooting are coming next - I'm also Aussie so that will be making me laugh for years to come - but if a lack of themes are your only issue, go get yourself a copy of KLWP and KWGT and make your own with relative ease. Or download free presets from G+ and PlayStore or buy some of the really sweet presets from the PlayStore....

Hi, i rly love the Android 10 statusbar icons and QS icons! Is there a theme out there that works on pie with these icons?
I saw a magisk module for the OP6 where you could get the Android 10 battery icon, and this is something i really want and wish for my OP7 on pie and if possible OOS 10.
If theres anyone that could make this happen Ill donate a large amount to that person. I think its silly that our OP7 pro doesnt have this but the OP6 have it!
Since AOSP roms are filled with bugs, the need of decryption, etc wich is sad.. so my wish is for this to happen since the AOSP roms are not close to stock OOS.
If this is done, DM me Ill gladly beta test etc for modules or substratum theme before it goes public.
I've been using Custom OneUI Theme Installer on Android 9 and now that most of us have upgraded to the 10, will there be anyone working on a way to install custom themes?

#hex is pretty good and if you use the #hex+ option theres a lot more apps can be themed.
Hopefully synergy and substratum lite will soon be updated for compatibility with OneUI 2 . My last contact with the development team they said they were working on ironing out some glitches and would expect it to be available in the next few weeks.
Hopefully Sasmung will update Goodlock and Quickstar ect soon too.

Same had to reinstall sub lite and when it did work I noticed swift black doesn't even seem to have a Samsung option anymore either
I seem to have most things working with AospUI Black and a mixture of Lux Dark and Valerie.
Unfortunately i can't get dark notifications.
It'll probably be another week or two before themes are updated for Samsung one ui 2
