Flashing RUU doesn't remove bootloader unlock i guess, that's why you still get the warning.

Your warranty will not be voided. Flashing RUU has never removed the tamper flag. This will have to wait for S-off, and that is if someone figures out "masking" the tamper flags.

My apologies to OP, title mislead me to think you just flashed stock RUU and you didn't have unlocked bootloader..

back to complete stock

With all the bootloader unlocking and flashing up to different RUU's, etc..
Will there be a way that someone might be able to come up with a procedure to revert back to complete stock?
Just wondering if you get going flashing roms and encounter a problem where you will need to exchange or take back your phone, a way to get it to stock form.
thanks
1.change you cid back to your original one.
2. relock your bootloader.
3. flash a ruu..

Has anyone came up with a way to change the cid back to stock

one you have unlocked your bootloader, your phone will either say unlocked or relocked. There's nothing that we can do about that. even if you changed the CID back to the AT&T one.
SuperCID means you can flash any RUU you want

So I guess the best we can do is flash the stock ruu at the time and relock it and hope for the best.

you worried about returning a phone? It's been my experience that they don't look.

Need to return phone to stock!

How can i return my phone to 100% stock? Can i just relock the BL and flash this RUU herehttps://www.dropbox.com/s/60iuxpjyz...02_10.18.31501S.08L_release_262073_signed.exe My Hboot version is 1.06. Sorry for the noob question but this is my first htc device that i have had to return to stock.
You can't completely return to stock and make it look like you haven't rooted. If anyone goes into the HBOOT after re-locking it, it will say ***RELOCKED*** which makes it a little obvious. But you can restore to the state you had before you rooted, with the HBOOT being an exception. Just relock the bootloader as you said and run your RUU.

Ok I dont care that it says relocked it's just because I sold the phone and the buyer requested the stock rom. Thanks for your quick reply.

If you change your CID back to CWS_001, theoretically, you should not brick running the 2.20 RUU, I'm not sure what will happen if you were to upgrade to 3.18 at any point. Probably brick in that case.
Safest way to RUU is to S-OFF first.

There is no way to S-OFF without a ROM.
So your choices are
Unlock, flash recovery, flash rom, fastboot flash boot.img, S-OFF, RUU.
Or
Fastboot writecid CWS__001, RUU 2.20, Never upgrade for fear of bricking.

Do whichever one you want. Just remember without S-OFF, I'm pretty sure you will not be able to upgrade to 3.18+ without bricking.
fixed it bt flashing a stock boot.img
thanks

2.20 RUU will run with SuperCID, bootloader locked and S-on. With the 3.18 RUU, you will brick under those conditions.

Wrong order. RUU first, then change the text in bootloader, then go back to s-on.
Also, no need to flash stock recovery, the RUU does that.

and if I want to relock the bootlader...the order will be
1. RUU
2. lock bootloader
3. change text
4. s-on
I mean... is posible to relock the bootloader and THEN change te text to locked instead of relocked
Is that correct??
It should be fine in that order seeing as you're s-off.

You'll have to spoof text before relocking you can S-ON after though or spoof it when you spoof the locked.

Back to Complete Stock HOX AT&T

Hi, my AT&T HOX has unlocked bootloader, S-OFF and CID CWS_001 , HBOOT-1.14.0002 , RADIO-0.19as.32.09.11_2 and it's rooted. I'm on stock AT&T 4.0.4 ICS and I have twrp-2.6.3.0-evita. I would like to get the phone completely back to stock. I mean I would like to remove *** TAMPERED *** banner and take from unlocked to LOCKED. I would also like to have stock recovery and update it to latest AT&T update RUU. Please tell me the steps I should take to leave it original and back to factory settings. In a few words, I would like to leave the phone as it had to go to carrier's warranty Thanks!
Just run the 3.18 RUU. At&t don't care if the phone has been unlocked, even for warranty. If you really want to change the "relocked" flag to "locked" there's a thread explaining how to do it in our forum somewhere.

Should I run the RUU being S-OFF and CID being CWS__001 ? Before I run RUU I have to relock, am I right? Please give me detailed steps, thanks!
No, just run the RUU, don't change anything yet.
