AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?
FEATURES:-
> Added Pixel accent
> Added Volte logo
> CMTE available :good:
> All Aokp features which is a lot to customize your rom to
> Lots more.... so explore yourself
Bugs:-
>Everything works good.... else you tell me

If I may ask, I have few questions for you @ShubhamPaul12.
1) Speaking till now this one is the third AOKP rom for land based on Android M. How is this different from the other two?
2) Will you be updating this rom or will you leave it as other two devs did!
Please reply.

Nice work bro.
Thanks for keeping Xperia L alive
Due to problems while syncing, the ROM is discontinued. If the problems disappear, I will start updating it again.
Forget about my last post, @Adrian DC helped me with my syncing problem and now everything works perfect. I've cleaned my device tree, so now it's ways easier to see my changes.
I just built and tested my new build of AOKP and it looks like it is working perfectly fine. If you find any bugs please fell free to post them here.
Changelog:
-Updated to latest Android 6.0.1_r61
-Up-to-date with latest AOKP changes
-Up-to-date with latest CyanogenMod
-Up-to-date with latest device specific changes(were a lot)
-a lot more.

A log would be great! But that in call audio is a CyanogenMod bug, I can test some things but can't do anything yet. So basically we are using the old audio HAL right now and somehow it broke itself...I could change it with the new audio HAL but there are a lot of more problems, look in the AOSP thread from Stryder.
So for now, use the old version of AOKP for in call audio or wait until I'll release a fixed version but I won't give you any time limit because it could only take days or maybe some weeks...Just wait for that.

Lorenz15

finally ...awesome work bro
Such a nice rom. Clean, smooth and light. Great job!
Edit: As with the latest versions of nuclea, the 'Select sim for calls' option is greyed out and only sim 2 can be used for calls. I have tried resetting network settings, but to no avail. This is on a clean install, with only rom and gapps installed. I have even switched both the sims into 2G, but the thing persists. Any idea/solution?
Super Rom bro.......

Flawlessly smooth like butter..??

Also I think U forgot to change Rom Os version..
Many thanks for the flawless ROM!
This ROM is simply awesome, can't thank you enough.
Been using it for a few hours now, found absolutely no issues.
Posting a few screenshots for our skeptical mates out there...
P.S. No issue with using Super GApps package either! And also, fully compatible with MultiROM!

Actually mate, the ROM is AOSP based, and changing to circle battery icon was never an issue on AOSP based ROMs. However that issue in CyanogenMod based ROMs still persists.

yup,but I have a small tip for you, when you recive a call,it will vibrate so just swipe from them center to the right and we can answer calls, and DM actually has takes shorter time to turn screen on comparing with all cm11 rom I have tested, other cm11 roms (included cmx11 ) takes about 3 sec to turn screen on when DM only takes you 1.5 sec . the other bugs may be still there.

Ok ,It's really easy
Firstly . boot your phone to recovery (of course but recommended to flash cwm, too)
Then flash this TWRP and reboot your recovery
Then in TWRP,choose wipe android tick everything except SDcard and swipe the bar
Then go back using the navigation bar
Then go to mount ,tick system, data, cache, sdcard
then go back and choose install
Then just choose the rom and swipe the bar, after you installed it ,reboot your phone and enjoy, first boot takes about 4 mins for me
and after it boot on,it takes a few mins to optimize the hardware for best performance
Is the rom stable for daily use ?????

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
Wipe cache, dalvic cache,system,data
Flash ROM-Flash Gapps [Arm-7.1]
Done-Reboot Now
Enjoy AICP rom

Hey there. I am still unable to boot. I have tried countless times in everyway I can think of. All three builds do the same thing. Install is flawless but gets to Android screen then it's done. I'm not sure what could be done but please let me know what I can help with. I did make a backup in twrp if that will help. Or if there are any logs you need or files etc. .

I'm just throwing up some screen shots of working build that is available. Build is by @cospalet and runs smooth. Only exceptions are in OP. Anyone with stylo 3 that can help polish it up im sure would be appreciated by all involved. Thank you cospalet, messi, and Travis for all yalls hard work and patience. I know none of you have phone for testing and put lots of your spare time into this and receive little if any financial support .
Working
Cellular after reset APN in settings
WiFi
Bluetooth
Hot spot works only problem i had was setting up proxy. Oniy gave 0.0.0.0 for server.
Google has no issues so far and I'm thoroughly google linked and have had problems in the past with other ROMs.
Themeing seems to work perfect. I have added a lot of the aicp extras and I love it. So nice to have those options built in. Not mess with other apps.
Rooted with magisk. No issue with modules. Let me know if you need list of anything or logcats.
Not working
Camera. I tried open and google cameras. Same error.
Fingerprint but I rarely enable it so for ME its no biggie.
NFC is on and off.
Oh and exposed working (systemlessly)

Did you do a clean install? Wipe dalvic, system, data, and cashe? Don't have to do internal but I do as a preference. Then the gapps with OP? I havent had a problem with phone. Nfc yes. Definitely going on and off
Logs from last build test. I included logs from twrp. I made a backup also if that is needed.
i get 4g but no lte. is this normal? also tried changing settings in apn
Thread cleaned
Going to remind you ALL one more time!
Donations are ONLY for appreciation for work already received!!!!
This is very specific in XDA rules that absolutely NO donations should EVER be considered towards future development
If you get suckered into giving for that purpose it is on you!
Bottom line...DON'T DO IT!
If you appreciate what the developer has given you then by all means donate if you like
Also what happens off site does not belong on XDA!
Keep your drama where it was started
Now keep THIS thread on topic for respect of the OP developer!
Thank you all for your cooperation

TeamHorizon's XenonHD unofficial rom builds for Xiaomi Mi Mix (lithium)
http://www.xenonhd.com/
XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on LineageOS 15.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".
Device Source:
lithium
kernel_msm8996
proprietary_vendor_xiaomi
Download Links:
ROM: XenonHD Experimental Builds for Lithium
Gapps: opengapps.org
Note: only recommended opengapps official arm64/8.1. Issues are supposed to be solved, but rom was having setup wizard crashes with unofficial gapps packages.
Flashing Instructions:
To install this ROM you will need to have a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP installed.
If you do not yet have latest TWRP (3.2.xx) for Lithium (only working one so far is the one developed by raupe and blunden: twrp3.2.1-lithium), do not flash this rom unless you want to be encrypted, decrypted, lose all yor storage and data and who knows what else
Copy the downloaded ROM to your phone.
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)
Install the ROM
Install GAPPS package
Install Magisk if you want root (tested with Magisk v14.0 only)
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 5 minutes
Installing updates:
Copy the downloaded update to your phone.
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Install the update
Optionally wipe caches
Reboot
Notes on features and bugs:
Working
At 2018/03/23 proximity fixes are GONE. Decided to not continue applying them until they are fully working, as they made audio to have lots of problems. So just turn screen off/on manually when calling or receiving a call
Also in the 20180323 update OMS support has been fixed as it was missing some tweaking and depending on the source's patches Substratum overlays were not installed.
TREBLE!
No idea of actual uses or consequences, but this rom is built with what right now stands for treble compatibility, that is, with the new vendor image.
Flashing from any other TWRP than recommended one will probably cause extra problems because of not supporting it.
Known Bugs
Dt2w from doze still doesn't work.
If full Expanded Desktop is enabled, screen won't turn back on or will do it very slowly.

As fine as it gets at this moment
Didn't see away to swap back button, is it hiding somewhere? No sound in calls now that's a deal breaker.

Sorry guys, it was working in my Mix when I tested but, as you probably know, I do not care much about calling and it's not one of the aspects I test thoroughly at all
I am sure you got it under control, but keep your firmware to the latest version...
Let's see if with latest update it works for you:
XenonHD Oreo 20180313
Lots of updates and changes from Xenon's source (check their github to track if you like), from aosp, and from LOS (kernel, devices...).
Proximity should still be working.

So the only problem I can see is if you hit the loudspeaker button you have to end the call, can't get sound back , sometimes it works perfectly.
