My skyrocket body flexes every time I pick it up and it would make a creaking or popping sound, how about you guys?

Sounds like a loose back/battery cover.
but no mine does not do this.
Mine does it to if i twist it a little it is actually the battery. It has a little play in it.
mine is creak free
No creaks here
Rock solid is the way I would describe my phone.
No issues with flex on my SR.
My first one does. That was why I exchanged it .

No creaks, sounds like a faulty battery cover as mentioned above
Rock solid is hardly how I would describe any phone this size made out of plastic. The HTC Titan comes close but it's made out of metal. Mine doesn't creak but there is some give if you squeeze it toward the edges. The battery cover is somewhat of an abomination. Put it in an OtterBox Commuter case... problem solved.
Mine does if I bend it a little, but you shouldn't be doing that in the first place. It's strange though, I never noticed until last night, and I'm sure I didn't drop the phone.
No body flex here.
I never noticed it on mine. I even gave the body a gentle twist and didn't notice anything.

It's the battery cover's fault. I took it off and don't hear any sounds when trying to flex the phone.
Any way to fix this? Mine does it and being ocd its driving me insane.

Mine does not make any noise -- but have you considered just getting a case for it? There are some super slim TPU ones that hardly add to the bulk, are still slippery (unlike silicone) and really help protect the phone.
I find mine makes a squeaking noise when I attempt to fold it in half. Anyone able to reproduce this?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Nope, mine made a snap noise when folding in half. Did you remove the battery and battery cover?

No issues with mine.
Check your battery cover as that has been never installed correctly every time i remove the battery cover and install it again.

I ordered one for $13. I like the look of metal and solid colours. I heard these aluminum cases will lower the signal of your phone, but I will try it out anyways. I highly doubt it offers much protection when it drops.

Had one on the S3, same brand; kills reception like a mofo
Looks like it might have a non metallic back, which should then not interfere with signal.

If you want legit ones, go to Casefanatic.com. I would recommend the kommandant. I have not lost and reception at all. It's all aluminum, and built better.

Well, i definitely like the fact that it has no flap cover for the screen. It's a pull-and-use device. Nice and simple. It is very popular. I've seen this before in person on an S4 and it looks good.
It does mess up your screen protector, and such. Also, it can get pretty hot.
It looks good. Maybe I'll try one.
I have one in all black. It's a pretty nice case. It is all aluminum sides and back. Pretty nice build and finish. I did lose like a bar of reception but no big deal. A con for me personally is that it does make it a little slippery and if it does happen to fall its not going to protect it all that much. Overall I would recommend it. It is a nice looking case and it looks good especially for the price.

I've been using it for a month now. Of course you lose NFC. NFC is attached to the plastic back cover. Gps has not been affected at all as I use it daily. Reception for me has not be affected either.

NFC is built into your battery. The plastic cover is just a plastic cover.

Yes I know that but isn't there a antenna type thing on the inside of the plastic cover.. I've tried using nfc with the cover off and it didn't work

Sorry. NFC capability is only built into the battery itself. The Note 2 has its antenna in the cover, but the S3 and S4 don't.
I've got to say, it does looks real good, especially the aluminum but it has a very steep price.
Case
Not appealing to my eyes.
Tried this case but i lose 4g signal... switches to 3g

Wondering if anybody has tried ElementCase for Galaxy Phones before. I've been contemplating on returning my phone for an M8 mainly for the front speakers -- but if there's just a way to have it for the S5... I'd love to keep the S5.
Then came RECON. ElementCase brags about their "Sound Boost System" technology that routes the sound from the back of the phone through the front panel of their case through a case cut-out (I assume).
Here's a link for your reference:
http://www.elementcase.com/Element-Case-Recon-Case-Samsung-Galaxy-S5-a/332.htm
Are there someone in the forum who've tried this case even with the S3 or S4?
How's the audio quality compared to with and without the case?
Do you recommend this case at all?
It's pretty pricey compared to the ones in Amazon/ Ebay.

I have the element eclipse case for the s4 and the sound boost makes a huge difference. If I decide to get the s5 I will get the element case in blue and get a uag case also.
I know this is not compari ng apples to apples but Have you tried the HTC One? Is it as loud as like having the speakers in front? Is the sound quality good and crisp? or does it sound like it being covered up?
Also does the case feel bulky?

I had an Element case on my S4 and it made the phone sound so much louder. I compared it to our demo model HTC One and with the Element case my S4 was close to the same 'loudness' as the HTC One. Plus the Green and Black case looked awesome. Not much bulk added, but it did feel quite a bit wider because of the bottom being wider for the SBS.

I agree but they are the only one that routes the sound to the front. It makes more sense than doing the same with your hands just to hear stuff -- if u prefer not to use earphones.

May be true, but some high grade aluminum might feel a bit better than a cheap plastic case. I might get the BO case. If I do, I will keep you guys posted.
I've ordered the Black CF one.
It won't ship till April 25 but when I'll receive it, I'll post a little review about it.
I have the element metal one for the S4. I hated how the aluminum was to the touch, the power button was hard to press we had to make some cut out to fix it.
I hope that CF one will be better. If not I'll return it.

Now I just may be missing the point, but people actually listen to the phone without headphones? Why? The HTC OneM8 sounds a little better, but definitely sounds like crap compared to my headphones on my S5. I am not getting it.

People especially like to do this on buses and public transit!
Its super light, all cut out are perfect. All the mistake they made on S4 version got fixed.
It also come with a belt clip.
And the phone feel well protected.

Looks awesome. How much width does it add to the phone? And how much difference is there in the sound coming through the SBS? I've really been on the fence about this case. So any advice would help because I already have an otterbox defender. Thanks

Looks awesome. If I get an s5 don't know if I should get this or the blue one. I might wait till June with the premium s5 in the works. Wonder if any case manufacturers even know about the premium s5 model that is gonna come out.
I can't measure it right now but its not much larger.
The case let you hold the phone firm.
The SSB make a huge difference that why I bought it in first place.

Has the Nexus 5 got 2 speakers? When playing games I usually end up covering the holes. When I cover the left ones it goes really quiet, but the right ones makes no difference.

Hi,
Nope, there's only one speaker so it's normal... And you found on what side it is
Just the one. The other is a mic. I guess technically the earpiece is a speaker as well

I have the case and I have the same annoying problem. One thing I found that helps is opening the bottom cover when talking on the phone. I also just got the lifeproof nuud and call quality is much better.
It helps if you turn off the noise reduction on the call screen
