Flash BL and CP from Ufirm zip in ODIN
I had this problem as well. Set your APN, make sure you click the APN so it shows a blue dot and restart your device. For me i HAD to restart for data to come back. Hope it helps

The difference is customizing your rom even though you aren't rooted. Pretty big deal since our bootloaders are locked. Not my preference but to each is own... good luck if you try.

We're getting it close to booting. This ROM definitley would not have been a reality without the help of Cteneyk, PikkonX, Darchstar, and Toastcfh. I'm working on it as fast as I can... I'll do my best to get that stuff working. OpenGL and WiFi are as good as done. Also SMS is all done, I'm still working on everything else.

What kernel
What network services and hardware support tries to load at boot
What radio file it has.
If you've already verified all this nevermind
If you haven't, make sure you have Asurion on your Hero.

I have the ICS gallery (running along side of the regular gallery) and it doesn't give me options. Thank god for QuickPic!

hey to install it you have to download this zip from the link. Then save it in your sd card internal or external. After that you have to have cwm(cyanogen working manager) which most of the phones do. Then boot into cwm and flash this file via cwm which instructions are all over the site. Once done reboot and you're set , your camera will not look like Samsung it'll look like ics.

Flash the factory image or just wait for the OTA (if stock). Depending on where you're located it could take a little while, some will get updates when they're announced, some get it later in the day/night.

Google said it'd be out today & I'm just sitting here waiting for it cause I wanna see if it makes the phone's touch screen more responsive... I've notice iPhones are more responsive than Androids and I hate making errors when typing when I know i clicked the right letter.. And I hate Swype..The unresponsiveness is making me want an iphone lol..
When I was running the leak, I and several others had notice touch was more responsive, also the driver was updated. I don't like Swype either, I just use the Google keyboard auto correct with my custom dictionary.
Also you may want to watch how and when you mention Apple products in forums, just a heads up.
