There's a thread in the News section of this forum that says that Nougat was removed from OTA and Emma. Is this true? So far I don't have any problems with the update and everything works great. The phone feels faster and battery is good. So what's the problem?
Well the XA hasn't had any Nougat releases for a few days... But who knows? Maybe Sony are just pausing to allow any issues to be reported before it's fully rolled out. The "Which devices will receive Nougat?" Sony page hasn't changed. Its hard to know whether this is planned or the update is being stopped due to issues.

Updates aren't rolled out to all regions at once, its a phased roll out their servers wouldn't be able to cope for a start and also it gives them time to find out more about if there's any problems. Just wait for the ota update or via PC companion. It HAS NOT been pulled due to problems..

Yes..I have received update notification some days ago...But as I was in roaming I couldnot update my XA dual..Yesterday afternoon also I saw notification..Today I came to my home circle..But today it says already you have latest software..So it is conformed that update has been cancelled or paused.
It seems to be down. XperiFirm sees only 33.2.A.4.70. Even for Netherlands, which already had 7.0 update...
Same with Ultra where all regions are "rolled back" to latest update that had before Nougat one.
The 7.0 update on XA still have some bugs, for me, the xLoud is not working well, it makes XA sound volume lose control, especially on music playing, in the other hand, xLoud seems not working on Video playback...maybe sony working on it now...

Yeah, I don't think something like this happened. They probably didn't properly test the ROM on all models, like they should have, considering that the update was supposed to come in "early 2017". So pissed right now, because I can't properly configure my XA until the fixed ROM comes out. I don't want to root, configure the adopted storage and install all of my apps two times.

Got it Thursday.
Hmm...no update for me as of yet.
They do slow rollouts for security patches as well?
Also my status is modified in the bootloader. It's not rooted and is fully stock firmware. It WAS rooted. Will this prevent me from getting the update?

When the Marshmallow update dropped a year ago, taking out my SIM immediately caused the update to be available upon check, so not necessarily true.

I had to pull my Verizon SIM to download the May security patch as well. Verizon users who did not remove the SIM received the update much later. Motorola does release updates in batches by IMEI number, but depending on your carrier, having the SIM inserted can block the update.
So....Is there an update, or no? I noticed a hell of a lot of people looked at this post but few responses.
Edit: error

According to the FAQ page for the MXPE, no. Updates are supposed to be received, even if the bootloader is unlocked, but that is not the case. I was on TruPureXMM ROM, since December 2015. I recently went back to stock using the "current" firmware available on the Motorola site. Even tho it was dated September 2016, it was only up to the November 2015 security patch. I am unable to pull OTA updates. "My devices software is up to date". Moto customer service states that I cannot receive updates with an unlocked bootloader.
I received my UK/Europe phone today and I was wondering if the Nougat update should be coming through? It did a big 450mb update after powering on for the first time but i'm still on EMUI 4.1.3.
Thanks
I've been trying the manual update check for a few hours now, tried rebooting to see if that might help but so far nothing.

It looked to be some sort of security update?
Couple of quick questions..
Did you update it in the end?
Which network are you on? If 3 have you had any probs with 4g calls (VoLTE)?
Dude.
Wait for some days. Also here in Austria we got the Update 2 Weeks ago.
I think is a time delay. How long do you have your phone now?
I do not suggest that Firmware Finder tool. Looks not serious in my point of view.
And that confusion about the lots of updates and files in there? No way...
If you do want do update manually, then do it in a right way and flash it by you own.
Good luck.
Just wondering if you ever got your update. I got the Honor 6x this week and still no update. Am on Android 6 and EMUI 4.1.3. Have spoken to Huawei and Three and have got nowhere. I'm no geek so too scared to use Firmware Finder. Is this my only option??
I'm currently on BLN-L21C432B151
But everyone link posted for nougat or through firmware finder I get
Nrd90 test key and on every reboot I get device verification error no matter which version I install why is this
Three sold me an Honor 6x recently which will not update to EMUI 5 or to Android 7. According to Honor UK Tech support, BLN-L21C432B151 will not update and they have no update in the pipeline. Tough luck seems to be their attitude. Three did not have a clue and will not change the phone. Stupidly (as it turns out) I bought from the Three shop in Canterbury, their take is, "too bad" and if I had bought over the phone from Three direct (or on the web site) I could have simply returned it for a refund. Supported my local shop and realise now that I was a mug, I have no right of return even if you feel you've been "stiffed." No wonder the High Street is dying. Anyway, it looks like we suckers are stuck with what I consider old tat which is outdated from day 1. Thanks, Three and Honor. Now I know who to avoid.
I bought 6x from amazon.uk. Updated to nougat with FF. Had problem with disappeared update app in settings after flashing rom from FF but I found 100-150 MB update somewhere here on xda that fixed it. Since then I am getting all security patches every few months. Did not rooted and not tried any custom ROMs yet. I am getting old I suppose ?

I'd wait, that room in your image it's not Oreo, still nouget. Oreo has started rolling out to the mate 9 so I'd wait until it rolls out to your region, should be sometime in the next few weeks.
That's not Oreo it's just October security updates, and I've had this update about a month ago through normal update. Next update shows as 188 on ff and not authorized yet while other mate 9 versions are getting Oreo.. the wait is Killin me.

I'm gonna wait as my phone is branded 432 and not 636. I guess it would be a pain to rebrand.

You may as well still update as the security patch is probably newer, just keep looking and Oreo will appear soon too
I've manually updated my Huawei mate 9 to android oreo. (Before the update my midel number was MHA-L29, after the update it changed to M300-L29). Is it possible to "delete" this update and to (fully) reset my phone to the previoust version?

You can downgrade using https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-oreo-update-package-t3699522
Unless they change it, the "beta" Oreo on mine, is version 321, so I'd guess the rest should be 3xx or higher?
I thought it was a release version, I never signed up for the beta, but about a month ago, I checked the EMUI
default update program on my phone and it popped up, so I installed it. Had I known it was a beta, I probably
would have left it alone. But, it's been pretty good, one little quirky BT problem in my car. If I get out of the
car while I'm using BT with the car, turn off the car, then get back in, sometimes it won't connect. I have to turn
off BT, wait a few seconds, then turn BT back on and all is good. If I spend say 30 minutes or longer out of the
car, it works fine, but if I'm out like pumping gas and get back in, it won't connect.
I'm living in China, I have the MHA AL00 version. I have received the Oreo update. There is no PC Mode

We see a lot of threads for the C432 model regarding firmware updates, so what about the C782 model
According to Three UK they have approved a release of the latest version (they haven't stated which it is) and Firmware Finder 130 is now showing, but currently not authorised for my device.
On FF it says the following
Improves secruity with google security june releases
moves hicare from tools to home screen
optimises ui text
In other words not a lot of improvements, unless they haven't added the full changelog
But it will probably be august before we even get this update (if we do)
The firmware has been approved C781, but with firmware finder, you can not update what you can do?
Hi.
OTA "CLT-L29 8.1.0.130 (C782)" on Three UK is available to download. Just checked.
Is it safe to flash (if yes how and which one) or we should wait for Three. I remember when 110 turned up on FF for 782 I got Ota from 3 after 2 weeks..... So, probably they will send 130 out in a week or so.
