Hay, guys, there is a new this on my honor 6x, which I think was not here before. But unfortunately I don't remember when it has come to my device, there is a plus sign inside the battery bar of my BLN-L21C185.
Does anybody else also has this or this is special to mine?

I won't use that mode if I were you. It drains more battery.

I thought before that maybe I did something that caused more drain in ultra battery saving mode because I rooted my phone and uninstalled bloatware. But then I read about other users with same issue.

Just a tip.
Do not ever use ultra saving. I left my phone powered on during 2 nights, one with ultra saving activated and the other night with the usual power saving. The ultra saving drained around 26% battery, normal saving drained around 5%. Never tried without any power saving activated.
Those power saving modes are useless

Hope huawei address this. Cause the ultra mode have a bright screen brightness which more consune the battery considering our display is an LCD Capacitive
I don't mind if they fix it or not, I'll stick to normal mode always
They should fix it. It's a needed feature that should work.
Related
I have kept the screen brightness at the lowest of the low, only turned on data when needed, and still my battery can't have more than 2:50 of screen on time before the battery dies (1%). I am assuming stock rom is most likely the best for battery life, but I require some custom features that only non-stock roms have. So what I am asking is, what else can I do to improve the battery, or what other roms have good battery life for Nexus 5
Thanks
Use better battery stats to identify wakelocks / wake ups etc

You also need to examine wakelocks and hungry apps...d/l and use a wakelock detector and try to forego the top 5 apps that waste the most. (eg. Facebook?)
Damn..beaten by rootSU again!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
roms dont really have anything to do with battery life. kernels do somewhat, but to a point. battery life is mostly affected by how you personally set up your phone, what apps you chose to install, how you personally use your phone, and mainly the quality of your phone/data signal. remember, as many phone users as there are, as many different ways that people use their phones.

My phone won't show that it's charging, but it is and it won't go past 50% I even factory reset it and same thing. Anyone else having this issue?
Are you using the charger and USB supplied by OnePlus?
Are you plugged into the wall and not charging via USB?
Yes and yes and still nothing.

Yes apparently this is an issue with the 64GB version, there is a video on Youtube saying to leave it uncharged for a full 12 hours then it should be fixed... i will try that then report back.

Case and point
What kind of screen on time are you seeing? You might try wiping cache and dalvik...
I have same kind of issue, its not charging past 99% even though i left it charge a full night.

You'll have to recalibrate your battery, drain it complete til its turns off. Hold the power on, it'll boot and turn off to make sure its flat then recharge, it should take it til 100%

Don't do that to much, it lower the battery life and won't help much the best is to not over heat and don't let it drop less than 25%.

Nope i somehow fixed it...used an app called battery calibration it said it was possible to calibrate battery below 100% and that worked...
I gave up on this, I simply traded my phone for a G3, the guy I traded said he would fix it, since he has his own shop.
Hi,
My new Lg G Pro 2 stay at most 5 hours....
I can see strange battery stats from time to stay and collecting battery info..
one time I see +100 hours and many times I see 4 hours to stay..
I did everything.. wiped it many times and flashed the correct kdz through my imei and nothing changed..
I'm still on kitkat hongkong..
rom version v10d..
thanks
which app is using the most battery % when you check in the settings?
if it's varying that wildly, it sounds like media indexing or something similar.
nothing abnormal i assure u...
If nothing abnormal in battery stats , your battery gone bad. Replace and see
purchased a new one still the same problem
I think this is due to that the battery usage settings is based on the 3-hour usage pattern.

If you leave it on standby for 3 hours then check the estimated time remaining, it would give really high numbers.
If you use it heavily for the past 3 hours, it would show low time remaining.
I Charegd It to 100% and slept..when i waked up next day I found it 80% without any usage....

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Samsung Galaxy Note FE before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Ok

I will say I have roughly the same battery usage stats. I’m getting roughly 1-1.2% per hour on idle and 15% per hour screen on.
I usually have a mix of WiFi on and off, location set to device only, sync on, no BT, no AOD and usually 4G with 3-4 bars reception.
What I find to be severely draining is travelling fast, like driving. It’ll easily drain 5 per cent per hour.

I find that turning Google Location History OFF in the settings improves battery life.
Looks like this thread as gone quiet, the battery life on the Note FE has dropped quite sharply since moving on to Oreo. Mainly cause by the cell-standby time.
However, from the looks of it (without root). The options are quite limited, especially if you have recently updated to the latest. It moves Binary 3, and Knox will not allow to downgrade to a previous version. Flashing a Binary 1 (Nougat) radio will end up your phone showing "baseband unknown".
Mostly on Wifi. Moderate use (and lots of YouTube).
5h+ a day
I'm often turning on meduim power saving mode and it's not limiting my device's performance or any thing.
It may last about 4 to 5 with power saving mode turned off. Of course all of this is on FHD resolution i haven't tested WQHD resolution yet.
When I first got my Note 20 Ultra (Aug of last year) the battery was amazing. Now within the last 2 months is horrible. My phone shows a full charge will last 11 hours and 51m. Just today I was out and about, unplugged at 11am est and by 4pm I was at 41%.
Not sure what has changed. Though Facebook is showing around 10-20% battery usage over the last 7 days which is odd since I'm not using it that much.
Ditch FB* and any social media that's loaded as an app... crapware.
Clear system cache.
Disable all power management.
Now see what's using the battery and if it's appropriate. Go from there.
Install Accubattery to track battery use history.
A well optimized Note should about 7-14%@hr SOT, less than 1%@hr with AOD in tap on mode at night.
After doing all this reevaluate if it's a weak battery or just excessive power usage.
*yeah I know you can't send any FB messages if the app isn't installed... ditch this malware. It's malware by design not coincidence. FB is a menace... learn or get burned.
This is my N10+, the N20U may use slightly more due to variable refresh rate and 5G but should be similar.

I figure a on heavily used Note that's fast charged the battery will last 1-2 years.
My last N10+ battery failed around the 1.5 year mark. I'll probably replace now at 1 year intervals.
