Problem with USB connection Samsung SGH-i780

Hello,
I have a problem with a connecting my SGH-i780 to PC. I have a german version BHHF1. When I connect it to PC, the PC don't recognize it. I try all settings in Connetion menu but nothing help. When I try start it in emergency mode, it connect it, but can not recognize it. I installed modem drivers and ActiveSync software but nothing help. I use Mirage and press detect in emergency mode, but nothing help.

Man i am having exactly the same problem with this friends phone, there i go trying to show off, I'm like "sure I can fix your phone I know all about that stuff'...yeah right, I can not even get the pc to recognize the i780.
The pc does see that something is there because it makes the usb connect chime, it just does not recognize and fails.
Could it have something to do with the phone being from Holland (that is where this woman is from and she is so hot and what a accent) because I do not know what to do....help....please!

I got the same problem too, but looking at this thread not many people are facing the problem i feel and have you found an answer yet?

one of the usb devices attached to this computer is malfunctioned and windows doesn't

Am experiencing a problem with my computer,when ever i connect usb mass storage to my computer,it comes up with an error message as
"one of the usb devices attached to this computer is malfunctioned and windows doesn't recognise it".
please do help me if there is any solution...
as of now no trouble shooting steps have been tried.

the problem is exactly what it says, your whatever mass storage device is not functioning anymore.
If it is a external harddisk, if u are pretty sure u never dropped it, then mayb there's a problem with the cable.
If it is a ppc, then u might want to change the sync cable, reinstall the htc usb sync driver or hard reset your phone

You may want to see if your devices are working in other computers to determine if it is the computer or not that is giving you the error. If it is your computer, you may want to try to update or roll back the drivers. Also, if you have System Recovery active in your PC, you could try to go back to the point where you think your problem started.

Connecting to google app inventor problem

I got my app inventor invite about 2 weeks ago and am going through technical issues when trying to connect to the program.
1st off I'm able to have my computer recognize my device when I connect it regularly (Charging and Mass storage etc)
When I switch my phone to dev. Mode my computer looks at it as a completely different device and says the it needs me to insert the disk that came with it in order to install the proper drivers. .. the name of the driver is SAMSUNG_android (or it's atleast the name of the device)
I've followed the instructions on the Google help page and they have yet to help.
I think it may be the driver but I can't seem to locate the one I need
If anyone has any ideas or can provide any help it would be much appreciated
Also I'm trying to connect with Samsung vibrant that's not rooted

computer does not recognize shield

i'm trying to connect my shield to my computer to do some basic android development (i have an app, it works on other devices, want to test it on the shield).
my problem is, when i plug it into the computer, nothing happens. to clarify, i don't mean that the drivers don't install correctly and then i can't do anything. what is happening is actually nothing. the computer (windows 8) does not recognize anything is happening, the device manager does not see any new devices even after scanning for hardware changes.
the shield is in development mode, and has usb debugging turned on, but i don't get any response anywhere. the shield does at least appear to charge over the usb cable, but that's it. listing adb devices also provides no output.
do you guys have any idea what might be going on that the device isn't recognized on any level that i can tell?

It sounds like either the USB port or the cable you're using is faulty.
Have you tried switching USB ports, to see if it's recognized then? And have you tried using a different cable?

If youre just trying to connect thru adb you need the universal naked driver. If the shield isnt being mounted try a different usb port and make sure youre using the shield cable as well. My samsung cable will charge it but i cant transfer data with it.

[Q] Oneplus One Disables My USB Ports

Hi Guys Searched Google and here but nothing came up. sorry if i missed something.
I'm having trouble with my Oneplus One. As soon as i connect my phone to MY PC Every USB port except for Mouse and Key board get disabled. i need to remove the phone and replug every other USB device i have to get it work again.
I'm on Windows 7 x64 and if you need more information i will post. please help me solve this.
