Users bleeding together - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I created 3 accounts. All three use an emulator to play TOWNSHIP.
But upon opening #2 or #3 the emulator and game from #1 load.
How do I stop this? I need 3 completely separate accounts.

iMobsters and similar storm8 games

Hey guys
Sorry but i can't get to know how to play this game?!?
I downloaded it and it says that i must have a storm8 account to sign in but i don't have and i don't know how to create one!
On the website storm8 and wgen trying to sign up, it says that creating an account shall be done from the application but it can't be done in the application!!
I am stuck at the intro screen where it demands the sign in!
How to create an account?! Should i have an iphone?!
I'm on android 2.2
Please guys some help here pls

Account setup
To setup an account for those games, I had to go to their website from a PC and register or create an account from there to get started. Hope this helps
i played worldwar (similiar to imobster), i never do a sign in, it automatically. (related to google account? i dont know, im totally newb)
I have an identical problem--I had four or five storm8 games. Usually, you're able to easily transfer your account to a new handset by entering in your account info from within the game. I never had to do this until updating to 2.2. For example, on my g1, I would be able to flash any rom (1.5, 1.6, 2.1) except froyo and my accounts would load up automatically. When I switched to Froyo though, I had to actually transfer the account from within the settings menu of the game. Then, all of my games would switch over.
Switching to 2.2 on my captivate, however, is a different story. I can't even get the game to load, as it says that my previously valid account info doesn't match what they have on record. I'm very close to just forgetting about storm8 games all together.
I should mention that I've never created an account through their website--I only created one from within the game (to be able to switch over to 2.2 on my G1). I'm going to create an account on their forum, try that login info in the game and see what happens. Incidentally, my original account info DOES work for logging into the forum...I'm not sure how or why. If creating a new storm8 account through the forum doesn't work, then screw it.
BTW, I've found Forces of War to be a suitable replacement for World War, so you might want to give that a shot
i played word war and imob ... i find imob to be a bit more fun to play.

It's the specific implementation of 2.2 on the phone. Instead of generating a unique ANDROID_ID when the device is first run or factory reset (the intended behavior), it uses a predefined ANDROID_ID for every phone with the same implementation. Addressing this ought to allow for normal gameplay.

I play all 8 storm8 games on my myTouch 3G with Froyo 2.2
On any game that you play, go to the main game page, you'll see a "gear" or "gog" icon near the bottom, select that icon. This brings you to another screen with 3 tabs, choose the tab labeled "Storm8". On this screen, mine account is already setup so it shows my information but if you haven't setup an account yet it will let you create one here or give you a web link to the Storm8 page.

Developer Tool in Beta, Testers Needed

Hi,
We have a tool that records and uploads video from your phone. It has a couple of cool uses for UX designers and creating tutorials, but it was really designed for developers to use when testing a new app. The biggest bummer right now is your phone needs to be rooted.
Basically you launch the app, it begins recording, then you launch the app that you're testing, do your stuff, then end the session, it uploads it to our site. Once on the site you and people want to collaborate with can view the session, add comments, share it with others.
The coolest part is the debug log is running concurrently with the video so if your app crashes or hits a bug you can see exactly what the user was trying to do and the logs at the same time.

Passbook on Android!

not sure if this has been covered, but i was kind of excited to see this and thought i would share.
as you all know, the one "exciting feature" in IOS6/Iphone5 is passbook - (well that and the glass screen that is impossible to break unless you run it over with a car....)
now we have Passbook on ANDROID!
Though i haven't tested it at a store yet......
PassWallet in the google play store will display passbook barcodes on an android that can be, in theory, scanned in a store.
instructions:
1) download passwallet from the google play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.attidomobile.passwallet
2) when you open it, ignore the message "apple hasn't released" etc etc..
3) click on the tickets under the message above the "passfu" link (more on this later.
4) this will take you to http://www.passsource.com/customize.php - a website IOS users use to create a passbook barcode.
5) when you create your passbook barcode - select DOWNLOAD - when you open it - it will be imported into PassWallet (see #1)
6) now you can open your barcodes inside the passwallet app.
- to delete the barcodes you create - just open the barcode , click menu, delete.
now regarding #4 - there are MANY websites that can be used to "create a barcode" that is just one of them - the others are listed under.....
regarding #4 - if you access it on your cell phone - it might take a few more seconds after you think the page is loaded till you can actually see the fields to type in. till then you will just see java or html or something code.. just give it a second to display (or access the website on your computer, create the passes, and send it to your phone)
haven't actually used yet, just installed it and created some passes... came just in time because my gym membership (la fitness) card is bent and doesn't scan and the gym wants to charge me $5 to replace it...... since i take my phone to the gym with me - if this works, ill be happy!!!

I'm an indie Android developer and recently with other indies we decide build our SDK to help each other to promote our apps and games.
The main idea is to give more impressions to new apps and games in the first 30 days to get them in ranking.
We are going to give 60% of our impressions to new apps and games and 40% to old ones.
Here's the rules to partecipate:
We are going to review the app or game of the developer who want to partecipate (No junk, no push notifications, no aggressive advertising)
We don't balance impressions, clicks or installs because we believe we should grow together. Anyway we track them using Google Analytics.
We have an empty slow for new apps/games every 10 days. We split 60% of impressions giving 30% to apps/games with less than 10 days, 20% to apps/games between 10 and 20 days and 10% to apps/games between 20 and 30 days.
Any app/game should keep the SDK at least for 3 months (We'd like you keep it to help everyone).
We use 2 type of ads : A Modal and an AppWall and we show them 50%-50%. We support portrait and landscape orientation.
We show ads in a consistent way onload. We show it once a day skipping the first run.
Our SDK support Unity.
Permissions required are : ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and INTERNET to download the ads.
We have 2 servers at the moment hosting a json file and images and icons. We load balance on them.
I attached a couple of screenshot of the AppWall and Modal we show.
This is a completelly free service!

[APP][BETA] RemindThem - Beta Tester Required

Hi All,
We are couple of weeks away from releasing our new app, RemindThem, and we are looking for some users who can give it a try and give us some honest and frank feedback.
The app is created to handle a simple but frequent issue we all face at one or another time. I use all sort of reminder app but still fails many time to carry out some tasks. Tasks which are dependent on situation rather particular date/time. Like bring something on my way home from office, or carry out some task after reaching home. Existing reminder apps do not handle such tasks neatly.
The idea is to use networks rather date/time to set reminders and they will trigger only when the corresponding network event (connect/disconnect) occurs. The app also allows you to set reminders for others using their configured events. Users can create events like Entering Home, Entering Office, Leaving Home/Office etc which they can use to set reminders. The current version is working with WiFi networks but we will be integrating other networks like Bluetooth, Beacon, etc soon.
Steps to start beta testing

3) Once you click on Become Tester, you will find a Play Store link at the bottom of the page to install the app
If you find a bug, or the app crashes, please post a detailed description of what happened. Short reports like "it crashed" or "doesn't work" won't help much. Please try to reproduce the problem, and post the steps required to do so. Along with issue please mention which device you're using, and what version of Android you're running. You can also use the submit crash report of Android and I can get the error detail from the Play Store administrator dashboard.
