In this sequel to the popular puzzle game, you are welcomed to try on the Explorer role and make an attempt to hack a mysterious device - the MechBox. This time, it's v2.0. As before, every protection layer of it is a new original and unique puzzle. I should warn you that some of these puzzles are extremely difficult. But each and every puzzle can be solved if you pay attention to details and think logically and creatively. Are you ready to accept this challenge, experience the joy of victory and join the few who could discover the mystery of the Mechanical Box?
How to play
★ If you have no idea how to start playing, then why don’t you try some time killer.
★ Every protection layer of the Mechanical Box is supplied with the BGB - Big Green Button design for moving to the next level below. You just need to press it, lol.
★ If you try to solve a puzzle and eventually find yourself in a dead end, don’t give up! The MechBox has a built-in hint system. But remember, MechBox isn’t a game for casual players but rather an armored metalware bristling with security systems. And a hint is just a hint, not a ready-made solution.
Background
The Mechanical Box is one of the last fragments of the technology used by the Ancients and still existing in the post-apocalyptic world of the alternative Earth. A high-tech device created with only one purpose: to store and protect an unknown Object inside. To date, the Box is in poor condition: it’s partially damaged and overgrown with moss and other vegetation. There is a warning written on one side which is still readable: "SUBNUCLEAR CELLS MUST NOT BE REPLACED".

Yes, yes, I know... Not everyone can to see the logic.
This game is not suitable for casual players who don't want to think.
But when I see reviews like these, I'm happy, not all is lost.
Amazing puzzle game. Makes you think out of the box in order to solve the puzzles. Learnt a couple of new things like Caesar Code and Bulls/Cows which I never knew about before. Never had a mobile game engaged me so much before. 10/10 would recommend if you have a decent brain and good amount of patience.
Awesome puzzles, harder than the first MechBox. These are real logic puzzles, not like a lot of sorta brain games out there. Too advanced for probably the majority of the population.
I feel worried for the human race if some people are giving this game bad reviews because they are too stupid to swipe their finger on the title screen. People are calling the puzzles ilogical, but they're not. Every puzzle has a solution that can be worked out.
Good game. Puts brain to work. Will get some negative ratings from easy people, but please don't lower the standards, at least here in the game..

Thanks to everyone who supports the Mechanical Box and copes with its puzzles! You reaffirm my faith in humanity! Another simple level for you, friends :highfive:
P.S. Stage 11 is available now!
Tell you a bit about MechBox in my own words
Mechanical Box is a set of puzzles. Imagine a steel cube that you twist in your hands, trying to find secret buttons and understand how the hell are you supposed to open it. That's what the MechBox looks like. It is a high-tech device created with only one purpose: to store and protect an unknown Object inside.
The Mechanical Box’s protection systems have multiple layers as if an onion and each layer (level) is an independent original puzzle with non-repeating game mechanics. I must admit that the puzzles are... a bit unusual. They require logic but also the ability to think out of the box, find patterns and see the answer, which is always elegantly hidden on the surface. Plus, Easter eggs and a keen sense of humor. Even the main menu is a mini puzzle. And you won’t believe how many players are puzzled by it
You wanted challenging levels?
Well, the thirteenth layer of the Mechanical Box is exactly what you want!
Version 7.12.25
Friends, I wish you merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Succeed in becoming even smarter than you are, be creative, solve all puzzles easily and overcome all obstacles on the way to your goal. There is a new and rather complex level waiting for you in this Mechanical Box update.
looks cool
This is success!

Hope you all enjoy playing the game! Thanks!
Here's a video of the game:
Just downloaded this and its great have you thought about adding a tiny bit colour to it on certain things like the coins etc and I thought it would be an easy game but I was surprised how tricky it got a few levels in lol great work this should do good I think also rated it on gplay too
Sent from my Nexus 4
Thanks! I am glad you liked the game!
I did get that suggestion from 2 - 3 other people too, but I decided not to because I thought it might end up making the game look a bit odd.
Started playing and next thing I know, BAM, I'm at world 2. Loving this little game, it's well done and the retro style is well emulated.
There's a few annoying little quirks though, such as when there's let's say a block then right after a forward pointing spike in the same row (ground level), if you barely walk over the spike you die, even though more than half of the character is still touching the solid safe block (and thus technically you aren't touching the spike, since you can't fall because you are on the block).
The coins and points you rack up seem somewhat useless too. There's no incentive to collect the bigger coins over the smaller ones if only for the good feeling of getting more points that give nothing down the road.
Overall I hope there will be even more levels, I could play these type of games forever.
Thanks for playing the game and the feedback!
Your criticisms are completely valid. The issue with the spikes you described is because I am using a simple rectangle to rectangle collision detection. Hopefully I can figure out a better approximation for it. The coins don't really serve much of a purpose as you pointed out. Maybe if I invest some time into implementing a leaderboard and/or an achievements systems, there could be a better reason to collect them.
EDIT: World 2 and 3 are more challenging, so I don't think you might breeze through them as easily as world 1

This version supports auto updates, i.e it doesn't need to be manually updated unless you've chosen that option.
Yeah, I will be adding new content to the game, but I cannot say when. I'll need some time for coming up with new ideas and implementing them.

Description
SPECIAL PRICE
50% OFF(USD 7.99 -> USD 3.99)!!!
Venture through puzzle-filled dungeons to bring the past back to the present!
The 'Chronus Fragments' are needed to prepare for the 'Time Rewinding', which only takes place once every 10 years. Will you be able to get them?
On their way to the Chronus Shrine to get the Fragments, Loka and Teth are surrounded by a mysterious man named Geppel and his gang. They demand the Fragments.
While Teth plays for time, Loka, the main character, rushes out of the cave on his own to fetch reinforcements. He is successful, but Teth and Geppel are nowhere to be found.
Aiming to gather information about his missing teacher, Teth, and Geppel, who is trying to get his hands on the Fragments, Loka decides to set out on a journey. Accompanying him is Sarna.
The game features familiar quests, but also dungeons filled with puzzles to solve, and characters who grow and develop as the story progresses.
Also, in the 'Ancient Halls' in the towns, by using CA points you can purchase extra dungeons and special items.
- Dungeons with puzzles to solve
Set skills as you want- but be aware of the limited 'cost levels'!
In the dungeons there are various puzzles which need to be solved. There are boxes and pots which need to be moved, switches which need to be pushed to make something happen, and you will sometimes even need to make use of enemies to get past the obstacles which lie in your path.
Even if you fail to solve a puzzle, you can reset it with just a button press, so it's easy to try as many times as you want to.
- Incredible monster animations
You will be amazed by the monsters' spectacular animations!
You will randomly find yourself in battle when in the field, and in dungeons, you will start a battle if you touch an enemy.
Battles are conducted by selecting commands, with a turn-based system.
Some enemies may be surprisingly weak against certain elements. It's always a good idea to turn the battle to your advantage by trying to find these weak points.
- Class changes
In the shrine in Iatt, you can change your class.
In order to do so, though, you need to be at a certain level, and you need to have gained certain items especially for class changes, which will disappear when you use them.
After a class change, the character's title will change, and his/her level will return to 1, but any learned magic and skills will not be forgotten, and the character's previous status will be carried over to an extent.
Characters become stronger with each class change, so it's a good idea to change regularly!
- The tutorial function makes play easy even for beginners!
There are tutorials for how to solve the puzzles in the dungeons, how to search for items, etc., so you don't have to be an expert to enjoy the game!
- Extra dungeons
You can obtain points depending on the number of monsters you've defeated, and with these points, you can access extra dungeons, with many fiendish puzzles to solve!
There are also many items to make your progress through the adventure easier.
*While IAP content requires additional fees, by no means it is necessary for finishing the game.

Fun game so far, the only complaint I have is that I can tap my screen faster then the game seems to be able to recognize that its doing it...I know its not a limitation of the phone since I've played similar games. Is there a limit on how fast you can tap or is that something that needs to be adjusted?
Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Update: Never mind...I didn't notice I had to click the actual picture and not anywhere in the window at first.

As you found out there are no limitations. The only limitation you can occur is the lag between taps since the game is doing heavy math in the background but I think that won't be a problem for nowadays mobile phones. Thank you for commenting, enjoy your game!
Cool, very addictive game!! However, I wondered why I get no XP first, because I was collecting the first 1000 (!) ore without tool. It would be great to give a hint that you have to equip a tool to get XP, or to give at least 1 XP / ore if you have no tool. Also, my ore/second display always stayed at 0, even though I clearly had much more

Our Swordbreaker game demo have more than 1000 downloads!
Tried your demo and it was an interesting and funny game. Not sure if it contains just choices you have to make or that you can 'play it for yourself' (don't know if that's the correct English explanation).
Anyway, good luck with it

So, there aren't a lot of news!)
A lot of work on game scenes is made already. Still slightly we will add an art)
We took into account your responses concerning music (it wasn't pleasant to much) and we can tell that it will be partially or is completely replaced + a lot more melodies that the melody didn't seem monotonous will be added.
So wait! Already relatively soon!
Watch our new trailer in English!
So, I want to tell a little you about the current stage of the Swordbreaker project (Mechel)!
- As already I wrote earlier, game completely works and is relieved of a set of the found bugs. Though any for certain still remained)))
- The map of the castle is ready and already partially functions.
- It is a lot of new, good music in game!
- In game I appeared one more interesting (still "confidential") I undressed...
- Still it is necessary to do Achievements... ((
Here somehow so. Process of development doesn't stand still.
Hi, everybody! With you the Swordbreaker project is also the next portion of news!)

First impressions: The icon is really cool. All the buttons on the main screen (except FB, Twitter, Achievements) seem really small and hard to click for most people. Tutorial is done pretty nicely, I could do with less text but overall I think you did well so far. I really wish there was an indication as to when I can shoot my bow next.. I tend to click 2-3 times on my target before an actual shot is fired, this may be because I haven't upgraded my bow yet.. but still. Just beat level 2, I wish i was fighting a variety of creatures and not just goblins so far. The spells are cool, and I'm glad you have added another troop for me to fight against on level 3, I was bored of the same goblin.
I'll play some more later if you want more feedback, but this is what I have came up with so far, hope it helps!

Hi Matt,
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
"Tutorial is done pretty nicely, I could do with less text but overall I think you did well so far"
Tutorial dialogs are also a part of the story, hence they may appear to be lengthy.
"I really wish there was an indication as to when I can shoot my bow next"
Ranger character needs to reload the arrow, before it can shoot, observe Ranger's animation.
"this may be because I haven't upgraded my bow yet"
"Haste" skill reduces the reload time and makes the Ranger shoot faster.
" I wish i was fighting a variety of creatures and not just goblins so far"
Later in the game there are more different enemies. In the first world there are mainly goblins, but in other worlds there are different enemies , for example shamans, bugs, ents, skeletons.
However, your point is good! We wish we could invest into more enemies, but we ran out of funds. One day maybe game will be more popular and we will be able to add more enemies!
"I'll play some more later if you want more feedback, but this is what I have came up with so far, hope it helps!"
Yes! Thank you, more feedback is much appreciated!
I just noticed that images were broken, fixed that.

Hi, we have used Unity3D.
The game looks fine. But I think you should increase the speed of enemies. Probable this will require to change a balance in the game.

Thank you for your feedback. Game gradually becomes harder. Enemies gradually move faster and deal more damage.
