how to flash the userdata file in odin? - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

I have a G955N phone KT type. When i extract the rom ,it has additional USERDATA_KTC_G955NKSU1AQF7_CL11542131_QB13847499_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.
If i want to reflash the rom ,where should i load this in odin?

Same problem here

In the latest version of Odin this option is added.

Anyone have the bootloader and modem for Marshmallow in Odin? I'd really be able to flash the zipped rom TEK rom then odin flash the two proper files to make it work than do a full odin flash, then odin recovery and root and then flash the zipped rom.

Bootloader and Modem

Can I only flash BT and CP on Odin??
Must BT match with my current AP?
I want to install a custom Rom and it precises I need to have the latest version of BT and CP
Depends on the ROM, most use Aroma installer and have the option to update the bootloader and modem during their install. SuperMan ROM for example will update it for you, even though the forums page says update BL and CP first.
If the ROM is the same android version that you're on e.g. it's a Nougat ROM and you're already on Nougat, then you can just flash the ROM and do BL and CP via Odin afterwards.
But if you're going from MM to Nougat and the ROM doesn't update the bootloader and modem for you, then I'd recommend a full stock Odin flash to Nougat first (CP, BL, CSC, AP) then flash the ROM after.

ur csc is bad, had the exact same thing a year ago,
just install twrp again
flash csc pack (if there are csc packs for snapdragon variant), flash any csc u want , i did it twice just to be sure
and after that go flash stock firmaware with same csc code
so if you install btu csc then flash the btu firmware with odin afterwards,
dont flash the home_csc .tar in odin just choose the normal csc thats in ur firmware folder
hopefully this works for you too mate

Update firmware without lose any data.

hello guys!
I have a SM-G950FD (ZTO) rooted by magisk and TWRP recovery.
I need to perform updates by flash a zip or donwload via odin.
The problem is: when I try to update a firmware downloaded on Sammobile (tar.md5) via Odin it changes my recovery causing to lose all data.
This happen because on firmware that I donwload on Sammobile have a stock recovey included. Otherwise, if I use HOME_CSC will also cause lose data because of change on recovery.
I try a lot of things like, remove recovery file from the tar.md5, also try use Abyssal Kitchen, but I can't have sucess.
I ask for help plz! I just need upgrade my firmware without lose data by flash a update.zip or donwload a .tar via Odin using a firmware that I donwload from Sammobile.
Kind regards!

You can try (1) flash PIT file to restore default partition map then (2) flash stock firmware then (3) flash twrp 3.2.1 and (4) flash magisk

Good luck...
