Does anyone have experience "SD card unexpectedly removed" on brand new Honor 6 H60-L04 (android version 6.0 B860) .. I'm not sure how to fix that I've try so far with no success - format sd card within Honor 6, transfer all data and apps to internal memory leaving empty sd card, I notice it happens randomly, sd was removed for no obvious reason, but it came back for about minute or less, and then sd card works without any problems untill next unexpected reject, I've try that global fix turn off-turn on-unmount-mount with no luck, could it be (soon) broken sd card or malfunction sd slot?
kingston 8GB class 10
thanks!

How old is your SD? It could be a warning sign that your SD is near EOL(end of life), or it could also be a hardware problem with your phone.

.. well, it could be sd card after all, I've replaced old kingston 8 gb class 10 to transcend 8 gb class 10 yesterday, so far so good, not one warning for almost 24 hours .. however, this old kingston works ok on PC and tablet, could be some honor 6 bug/glitch with kingston sd cards, like some samsung have problems with sandisk sd

Yeah. It would consume much time to rule out the possible reasons. Better to use another SD now.

these kind of errors means that your sd card is faulty
Thilak , we cannot say that its an issue with sdcard . Sometimes its because of the rom too . Reflashing a new rom or the original firmware will fix this 99.99% of instances.
Three factors here. Bug with the ROM, faulty SD card, faulty slot. OP ruled it out by using another SD.
So its an sdcard issue is it ? Does that got right protected?

That's not the issue here though.
Mostly the failed sdcards are write protected ,so i thought that

Hi,
Is the sd card loose in it's casing?
What have your tried?
Tried SD in a different Phone?
Checked the SD for errors?
Is the SD loose in the carrier?
Formatted the SD (fat 32 and primary partioion) from a PC?
Tried a different SD in your phone?
It does help if you do the basics and add what you've done in the OP

No, I'm never inserting my SD card to any other devices
Previously i checked it for errors, and got cleaned
After I purchased it,i haven't formatted....
I found this "un-expectally unmount error" from this last week...
I had similar issues with my sensation my sd would unmount unexpectedly it would vary from rom to rom. I found that if re flashed my current rom without a wipe it would correct the problem. It worked in my case hope it helps

I would try the reflashing rom idea above as its easy.
If that doesnt work transfer all the sd card data to your computer then format the card. See if that fixes.

I had transferred all the data into computer & format the SD card, Still the same issue i'm phasing..
So i'm gonna re-flash the ROM...
I formatted my SD card to Fat32. was having SD card damaged issues a couple weeks ago, but havent since I formatted form PC and then again on phone. The issue I'm having now is everytime i reboot my pictures/files get erased. I can take 10 pictures, reboot...gone. phone boots up and I can take 10 more picts, reboot...GONE!
ANY IDEAS HERE!?????
Do you get the same results with another SD card?
I donhave another micro sd card. is this something that could be ROM related or does this sound like a bad sd card?
Since you have had issues with the card previously, i would lean more to the card being bad.
What ROM are you running?
Bean R2. I ran 3.1 and V5 then V6 and had issues and worse battery life than R2. so I went back to R2.
My guess is it was the SD card. I found my spare 32 class 10 lexar, formatted and haven't had an issue since.

I'm facing this same issue on the galaxy note. Suddenly it started to be a pain every reboot the data is gone although its in the card via file manager .. I don't think its the SD card eithhrr in my case

@grubesic98
First of all you have to determine whether its the card that has the problem or your phone's software.
Try using a different SD Card on the Xperia J and see if it will work if it does then it is most likely the problem of the SD Card you bought
If the other SD Card you try inserting still doesn't work, try downgrading to ICS and see if it works there if it does its most likely a Software Issue so I suggest you try another Rom.
May I also suggest upgrading to a Class 10 SD Card definitely improves performance because of faster read/write speeds.
I have some old 2gb microsd and it works very fine, with my phone and with my pc,my win8.1 works perfect untill I insert microsd

You may head over to this Here and read the entire thread thorougly, similar problem is fixed there.
I just purchased a mate 9 and it's having trouble recognizing my sd card. I swapped my sdcard from my note 4 to my mate 9 and nothing happens. I've tried multiple micro sd cards already with no luck. Can anybody help?

Perhaps the card reader is faulty? If it doesn't see any sdcards you may consider returning it and getting a new unit?
It reads one of the two cards while the mate 9 reads none. So I think it may be the mate 9. I will check the warrant and see from there.
