This is the way how I got Netflix to work on my bootloader unlocked LG g4 with rr Rom
1. Download magisk v13 beta and install it and newest magisk manager
2.enable core mode and magisk hide
3.enable magisk hide for all Google services and playstore
4.reboot and check it Netflix appears in playstore if yes continue if not you've done something wrong
5.if Netflix appear switch to browser and download latest Netflix apk and install it.
6. Open app and try to play something it should work
If you done everything correctly you should be able to play Netflix on any custom rom and download movies from. Netflix again.

You dont need core mode, or Magisk Hide for specific apps. Just activate the Magisk Hide slider in app. Doing this only will also pass Safety Net.
IME hiding for spesific apps sometimes creates problems. Dont hide for a specific app until you find the need to.

Do you mean to download? Because thats the only limitation they have set so far. If you couldnt get it to work, thats another issue, not related to Lineage.

This probably still will not make Netflix play videos in Full HD mode. Has anyone confirmed that the Netflix videos still play in HD or FHD with this? Netflix has a strict policy of playing HD content only on Android devices that were tested and approved by them (using only stock ROMs of course).
Maybe a bit late, but I am using Parallel Space with complete working Netflix (and others that do not work on rooted devices)

I used Magisk v.16.4 and with 16.0 too) to fix the Netflix problem on Lineage 15.1 on my S4 (i9505), it partially works: I followed the instructions of the first post. Both times I see it and I can install Netflix from Play Store but then Netflix says that the app is not compatible. Did I forgot to do something in Magisk? I also use the module to fix the certification of the device. I don't want to use the old app, too many features are missing.
Exactly same thing Happeing to m After flashing resseruction remix(7.1)on my zuk z1!

I wish I had! I tried 100 times. I made it work until the install point. Then if I try to login I got the notification that the app is not compatible. The only one that works is an older one (you can download it from Netflix support) with a lot of missing features... I asked to another user in the Lineage OS 15.1 for i9505 thread that said that Netflix and Google Pay work with Magisk but he couldn't explain how he did make them work ... he said that he just used Magisk Hide and then install the .apk and everything works. It's a pity because I really like Lineage 15.1. It has a good battery life. Only NFC is not working. I can live without it for now but without Netflix :crying:
I also had problems, but got them solved. I had Netflix running on a Samsung T310 with LineageOS 14.1. a few weeks ago, the app required new logon, but always displayed that my password is wrong though I double checked it several times. I installed Magisk and enabled Stealth Mode for Netflix. The problem still resists. In Titanium Backup I deleted the application data for Netflix. After that I could log in again and everything works.

Requires Xposed Framework!
Just got the Z1, pretty awesome device, it does have its minor quirks though.
This module allows you to disable the camera launch sound when using quick launch (hardware key and lockscreen widget).
It also allows you to do bursts without running into a bug I noticed.
When enabling bursts, using the hardware key to capture photos always results in two burst shots, no matter how short the press is (unless you don't use the two-step focusing). This rendered the button useless to me, as I use it for steadier shots, but being forced to do burst shots takes out the ability to use flash.
Ticking the option in the app allows you to use the hardware key for single shots, and the touch key for normal and burst shots.

Completely odexed stock (ota'd to 534), and rooted with vroot
It seems to work fine if you don't touch transparency settings. If you do you need to delete the keys added by it to the settings provider. I already forked it on Github and I'll push the fix I added to it.

Fixing the problem is better than clearing or restoring data from CWM
In adb shell or a terminal app:
Code:
settings put system status_bar_alpha_config_launcher null
settings put system status_bar_alpha_config_lockscreen null
settings put navigation_bar_alpha_config_launcher null
settings put navigation_bar_alpha_config_lockscreen null
You don't need all of them, you just need to clear the settings you set. Of course, running them all won't do any harm.
I'm not sure why @C3C076 opted to using system settings to store values, that makes it harder to clear settings if a user messes up.

I'll look into it. I would've said yes but the camera app is two different activities (I'm not sure why Sony did this). There's the normal camera and a fastcapture one. The latter is only launched by the HW button and the lockscreen. That's why the icon didn't make the startup sound.
Anyway, when you switch to a differemt mode, or the front facing camera, it stops the fastcapture one and starts the normal one. So making it launch in manual mode may or may not cause some slowdown.

I've implemented this, and it works fine, but only when the kernel / camera HAL / Qualcomm overlay system (I'm not sure which is the problem) doesn't hit a bug.
If it does hit the bug (which has happened in 80% of my tests), the camera will be locked up till you reboot (you can use it and all, but the next startup of the camera will show you a "Camera not available" error).
I may push it in the next update as a feature for those willing to experiment, it's quite a shame it didn't work as intended :/
I'm guessing this explains why Sony decided to make two cameras, one was a workaround.

Flash with TWRP (or your favorite Recovery), get the latest Google Dialer from APK Mirror, and install it normally. Upcoming updates will install from the Play Store automatically.
Don't forget to change the default "Dialer" app under Settings / Applications / Default applications / Calling app
How it works
That "fix" doesn't modify or replace anything in /system. It only adds two missing files on non-Nexus phones that are required to be able to install the latest stock Google Dialer:
com.google.android.dialer.support.xml under system/etc/permissions
com.google.android.dialer.support.jar under system/framework
Both files included come from the latest Nexus 5 Android 6.0.1 system dump
It won't affect the stock Samsung dialer app or cause it to malfunction
Extras
If you want to use stock "Google Contacts" too
Google Contacts (don't use 1.4.17, unsupported by Marshmallow)
Google Contacts Sync

how do i flash .apk file via TWRP ?
Don´t know if anybody has tried or mentioned yet, here my experience:
I´m running Xposed since yesterday without any issues. The only module I´m using yet is Gravitiy box, of course, not everything ist compatible with the OP6 (e.g. navbar settings make some issues), but mostly it seems to work. Other modules I haven’t testet yet.
Instruction
- don’t forget, I´m not responsible for any sh.. happens. I tried different ways, all worked, this is one of them.
- For rooted devices only, Magisk has to be installed
- Download the xposed module in Magisk: Xposed Framework (SDK 27) 90.2-beta 3 systemless
- Download xposed installer apk and install it on OP6.
- When opening the installer it shows that the Framework is not installed. So I click the first line (“install”, not the second one “install via recovery" – don´t know what would happen then).
- You see the information, that the Framework is downloading. But then there comes an error massage, ignore it.
- Go back to Magisk and tick the box of the Xposed Module to activate it, reboot.
- After reboot open Xposed installer again and activate it (slider to the right)
- Reboot again. Now everything should be on the right place and appear green
That´s it, enjoy

Not if you hide it in Magisk. I hid most of the Google apps and services to be safe, and it set up just fine.,
Yes, xposed will break Google Pay.
This broke my playstore. It keeps crashing? Any ideas?
Edit: fixed
works perfectly for me. thank you
I have installed Xposed installer apk 3.1.5 and it worked rightaway, withoud any errors (also firsy choii, not through recovey). Of course you need still need root.
What's the best app locker with fingerprint?
I installed xposed framework and now Netflix doesn't show in play store. I looked in the settings in play store and it now says my device is not certified. I uninstalled xposed framework and app and disabled it and uninstalled it from magisk and rebooted. Still no Netflix in play store. And still says device not certified. How can I fix this?

Is it rooted? Root may be the problem. You may need to me complete stock for the playstore to have it for the oneplus. Look for an apk on the web. It will work that way but only in 480p.

Wrong, it's because xposed breaks safetynet.

If that was the case then wouldn't I be able to see Netflix in the play store since I pass safety net?

With xposed the safetynet are not enabled you dont have the real version of magisk why you have install no official version.

Where is the "official " Version? I originally tried to install with 16.0 magisk and I couldn't see Netflix then either.

huh what do you know... I was right... as always
try torrent next time.
such retarded service as Netflix must fully work on my device with any mods or be gone.
You can still download it directly from the Netflix web site.
https://help.netflix.com/en/node/57688
Update...
Uninstalled Xposed and safety net passes now, but still no Netflix in play store.
So I decided I'd flash stock without rooting and start fresh, and still no Netflix in play store.
So I then thought maybe it's because my stock didn't get installed the normal system update way. So I flashed an older stock version and let my phone see the update through the normal way and installed the update, even with a whole different Google account, and still no Netflix in play store. So that being said I think my device is flagged some how in play store. If anyone has anymore solutions let me know.

kek love the brutal honesty :good:
Try aptoid
If you install Xposed in any way - Magisk or flashing through TWRP - it will break your certified state in Google Play Store. No matter what you do: It will. Period.
And this will cause the vanishing of Netflix. Just uninstalling Xposed itself won't do anything. Follow this post here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/-t3673617
For myself: I prefer GravityBox over installing Netflix via Google Play. If I need it: APKMirror. And to be honest: I don't really need Netflix on my device. Never did, never will.
Go to play store in settings, force stop, clear data twice. That will recertify play store.

Thanks to the hard work of topjohnwu.
the latest version of Magisk 17.2 in the Canary channel bypasses SafetyNet Attestation API,So we can play games like fortnite or fate/grand order,And most of banking apps to which detects root even after hiding that apps in magisk.
This is video guide:
https://youtu.be/7KriI47kIL0
Open Magisk Manager and go to settings.
Look for “Update Channel” and change it to “Custom.”
Paste the following URL into the box:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/topjohnwu/magisk_files/master/canary_builds/canary.json
Restart the Manager app and install the latest Magisk Canary build.
Once you’re booted back up, open the Manager app again and go to the Magisk Hide menu.
Select Fate/Grand Order or Fortnite Mobile in the list, depending on what you want to play.
Start the game.
Fate/go still not working for me. Im on beta 2.
No luck for me, it still fails when I try to launch FGO or PoGo on Beta 2.

First.. download magisk manager from here :
https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds/raw/master/MagiskManager-v5.9.2-2018091201-ianmacd.apk
then, update source change to custom and fill with :
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds/master/updates/ianmacd.json
Like he said at his post #2197
1. install MagiskManager-v5.8.4-2018082304-ianmacd.apk
2. Erase the app's data (not just cache).
3. Add my custom update channel.
4. Perform the SafetyNet check (which will cause the new snet.apk with my API key to be downloaded).
It's all i can help..
