- beta 26
- beta 17
- beta 13
- beta 11 with dual sim
- beta 9
- beta 6 - GDrive
Download link to base:
- Base CM13
Install instruction:
1. Clean install Cyanogenmod 13 (can be used previously rom if its cm13 and around 1gb free space on data partition)
2. Flash Sailfish rom zip (don't use Squid's TWRP. File compressor there has been altered and produces errors while unpacking. thanks 8sync)
3. Reboot to system(can take some time)
Warning!
When install via zip you will lose all data created in sailfish directory!
Currently XT1526 is not suported because of diffrent partition table.
Device with dual sim version is work in progress
What work:
- Wifi (fixed and forced to load wlan module if possible)
- Call
- Transmision over 3G

- Vibration
- Audio
- Bluetooth (little buggy, sometimes reject to turn on/off)

What doesn't work:
- Store (waiting for approve)
- U will tell me ^-^

There's any way to install apps? Even the stock apps isn't possible to install from store.

Use Warehouse for Sailfish (https://openrepos.net/content/basil/warehouse-sailfishos).
First enable installing custom apps in settings then download via browser and install

BTW, quick note, don't use Squid's TWRP with SailfishOS installer. File compressor there has been altered and produces errors while unpacking.

First, thanks for compiling sailfish for the surnia. It is a different experience from which we are accustomed in android. No lags or crashes in my experience.
Bugs I've noticed so far:
-MTP don't work, only charge. (I already changed the settings but it did not work);
-Ril does not work;
-I can not install apps from the store. (downloaded warehouse)
Device: XT1514
Build: Beta 9
Screenshots:

For my type of use, the buid 9 is almost perfect, the only problem i found is the headphones that didn't work, but this rom is prety stable for an beta release, amazing work you done.

I can't find what wrong with headphones and headphones.
Whay do you mean ril? Data transmision dont work or sms or something else?

The sim card doesn't get recognized. Maybe the cause is my surnia variant being dual chip.

I would appreciate it. This bug is the only thing that prevents me from using Sailfish Os as daily driver.

on sailfish nope. I've tried beta 9. But sure it works on android ROMs

I tried build 9 and 6 and the same problem.

I will provide next release with working headphones.
For more techy there is fast fix:
Code:
cd /etc/ohm/plugins.d/
touch accessories.ini
and put inside:
Code:
eci-probe-delay = 2500
disable-incompatible-quirk = true
jack-match = sensorprocessor
jack-device = /dev/input/event0

Also have u tried install Whatsup - for Sailfish OS from Openrepos? It showes error cause it need some libraries, some other apps need them too. Can you try to fix it too. Its somethink like (pyqt5)

Write it in console:
Code:
devel-su ssu ar openrepos-latest http://repo.merproject.org/obs/nemo:/devel:/mw/latest_armv7hl
Then update repos in warehouse and try install again

I installed beta build 11 but unfortunately the sim card still not being recognized on xt1514. Another minor bug: the restart option does not work (turns off the phone) (enabled in developer tools).

The AOSParadox Project 2.0
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
What's AOSParadox Project ?
AOSParadox is a vanilla ROM. Our goal is to pick the least amount of commits possible on AOSP code. Why trying to add features, when CodeAurora provide us with chipset's specific sources ?
At the opposite of most of ROMs that you can find, the trees are made by oursleves to be integrated in this new ROM type.
What should I be aware of ?
Everything is custom and made to work with CodeAurora Forum's sources so customs kernels won't boot (ramdisk is different, selinux rules too, ...).
What doesn't work ?
Code:
- Tell us
Known bugs and their explanation
Dual SIM devices can't use their mobile network unless they convert their userdata partition to "ext4" which will allow them to use 1 SIM slot. Please follow the instruction from this post #703 by @JBCDroid
Autorotate is broken because the whole sensor API changed in Marshamallow and we can't fix it until Motorola release new proprietary blobs (same deal for dual SIM by the way)
Manual/Aufocus in Camera app works however, as I hacked the camera blobs to work because we need Camera blobs for Motorola it can be inconsistent. Just restart the app and it will work. I'm running this version since 5 days and I never had any issue around focus
Video Recording : you need to downgrade your recording resolution to 720p
Setings / Networks / Radio is force closing. The fix is to temporarly switch System Language to English, do what you wanna do on this settings and revert back to your original langage.
GPS is fully working. However it doesn't work with mobile datas on but it works without it.

There aren't and I don't think we will implement it because we want to keep it smooth and powerfull as max as possible.
Okay understand so any modifications can be provided through xposed and modules yes? or xposed don't like this rom? There is noticeably improvment in battery life?

My friend has compiled a MIUI8 when Xiaomi released the source code of MIUI8, he repaired very few bugs and test it in falcon_cdma
RIL worked fine, but he thought MIUI8 is too stunky for a phone with 1G ram, so he stopped developing on it
After I requested again and again he finally found the rom file in his old drive and shared his MIUI8 with me
I tested it
RIL works perfect, then I got confused and asked him:“Why your MIUI is working with CDMA?"
He said some changes to the ROM will fix CDMA issues, but I don't understood what he was talking about (I'm not a developer)
I was very exited about finding your MIUI8 and flashed it as soon as I can, then, you know
I don't think your MIUI8 is really uncompatible with CDMA, I believe you just need some changes, mabey you can learn the trick from his Flyme5

The Rom is pretty stable, but performance is a little laggy and sometimes when i press Home or Recents button in the Navbar the phone soft reboots!
Also the root seems to be not working properly

Thanks eternal!
Can you send me a log?
For this, you can use SysLog (available on F-Droid or Google Play).
Make sure to root device before using this app.
To get the logs:
Start SysLog
Click on 'TAKE LOG'
Once log is taken, SysLog will try to share the resulting file, just cancel
Send me the file /sdcard/SysLog/[YYYY-MM-DD_HH.mm]/[YYYY-MM-DD_HH.mm].zip
Will try to send as soon as possible:laugh:
Here it is! Note :- Reflashed rom... Gapps worked perfectly no errors.VoLTE not working though.

Can u build this ROM for Otus
I'm not sure if this happened because I had to install GApps (otherwise Setup Manager would crash because of Nougat GApps already installed from previous ROM) or it is an issue with the ROM itself:
There's no keyboard, solved by downloading GBoard apk from apkmirror, placing it in a folder, and copying this folder to /system/app/.
There's no home app, solved by installing one from Play Store.
Now, some things I've encountered (not related to how the ROM works, but just to give advice to anyone).
1. Dolby Atmos (used the one from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/app-dolby-atmos-axon-7-oreo-port-t3740508) not working, the app crashes.
2. Squid's kernel does NOT work with this ROM. If flashed, the phone will keep looping at Google's logo.
3. Superuser (tried this with Magisk) has to be installed always BEFORE booting up for the first time, otherwise, loop at Google's logo.
On the other side, it works pretty good. I haven't found anything not working, and haven't noticed the phone heating or lagging. Everything is smooth.
Nice work and thanks!
Does anyone else have sound issues? I don't get any sound from the main speaker but phone call earpiece works as well as headphone jack.
I'm going to test other roms in the meantime to check if it's my hardware. I was unsuccessful restoring my stock backup =.=
edit: nevermind. not a rom issue at all!. slapped the phone to fix speakers

I see, thanks for info. I thought it was compatible because in an update it stated "patches for oreo support".
Is this running the Android Go optimizations? My only experience with Oreo is on my OnePlus 3 (which obviously doesn't turn on Android Go) and I'm not sure is the Go system is turned on by default for devices that meet its requirements.

How stable is this ROM? Thinking of making my surnia my daily driver if I can unlock it. Galaxy s4 mini VE (I9195I) development is borderline dead
And why you can't download it from the Official Page? There's the device but it says no files uploaded
plz do something about the camcoder to fix it amd it will become complete bugless rom for regular use......
u might also use footej camera and edit it as default camera of this rom.....
btw great work though....
god bless u....

I do plan on making an Oreo release at some point. However functionality wise I cannot guarantee anything. As always no ETAs.
I really appreciate this work although I don't have Z5P. I wish I have it so I could do some testing. I love Z5 family.

Before Oreo, I want to port my old school favouirte rom to this device. (Omni Rom)
Thank you so much! I'm currently using Bernies unofficial lineage os 14.1 from the other thread. Can I just flash to this or do I need to go back to 32.4.A.1.54 first?

Flashing firmware 32.4.A.1.54 again is not required. You just need to make sure you were initially on firmware 32.4.A.1.54 before flashing Bernie's builds as well. As long as you wipe data/cache like the install instructions above suggests you should be fine.
I flashed it over and it works perfectly! Thank you!
I've decided to scrap the omnirom idea for now. Anyways a little status update on....
You guessed it, Oreo!
As stated earlier, I cannot guarantee any functionality on any android version > 7.1.2 and I'm also pretty new to Android development so no promises here. Although I have yet to debug anything, initially only WiFi, Bluetooth, Brightness, Double tap to sleep/wake is currently working. Everything else is broken -> camera, flash, sim card detection, speakers, mic, internal storage and unless I missed anything else, just assume its broken. Until/IF I fix majority of these issues I won't be releasing any builds. I'll keep you guys up to date on this thread but for now there won't be any ETAs.
For real????? Man, you are freaking awesome! Really appreciate all the work you're doing! Definitely great to see anyone making progress on this. Best of luck!
nice,i hope u can add xperia function aswell ??
Another Status Update for Oreo:
Speaker/Mic has been fixed with the Oreo build. All of the minor audio issues (reported by a logcat) have been fixed as well, which allows AudioFX to work. There are a bunch of other issues still that I'll need to fix before I can make a release.
Persisting Issues:
- No sensors are working (proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope, light etc) A lot of functionality such as adaptive brightness, auto rotate will not work until this is fixed.
- Sim detection
- Camera
- Fingerprint
What is currently working:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Fingerprint
If I can get the sensors working, I'll release a beta/test build. Camera/Sim service is definitely going to be the hardest, and will be put up last simply because its better to get most of the basic functionality working before I can start working on the difficult stuff. It's worth mentioning again that I'm not a professional android developer, I'm just a recent college graduate that is doing this as a hobby. I'm still learning how all this works so I cannot guarantee anything! So don't hold me to it, but I will give it my best.
Will you be releasing the December security update for lineage os 14.1? Once again, excellent work on your progress on 15.1 and also your 14.1 is the smoothest I've ever used.

I will try to update this in the coming week considering this is stable while the other rom isn't. Right now I don't have enough storage for both Oreo and Nougat roms (The sources use up a lot of storage).
No mount sd card (model e6833)
SD card is working fine here e6853.

It seems to be coming from a dual sim device. Can you please fetch the logs?
- Reboot device
- Connect usb cable with debug on and data transfer on.
- Open terminal:
- adb root
- adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt
- adb shell logcat > logcat.txt (close/interrupt this after a couple of seconds)
EDIT: Try new version released below.
New release - 2019-12-23
- Updated security patch to December.
- Fix some missing proprietary blobs. (camera, nfc and qti-iop)
- Add support for aanc tuning mixer controls.
- Updated outdated config files to the ones from 32.4.A.1.54.
- SD Card detection fix on dual sim devices by kv123.
@Allex1992 and @yeshuabainz or anyone else with a dual sim variant please test if the SD card detection works now. If it does I can apply the patch for lineage-15.1 and TWRP. If it doesn't work provide logs.
