I do plan on making an Oreo release at some point. However functionality wise I cannot guarantee anything. As always no ETAs.

I really appreciate this work although I don't have Z5P. I wish I have it so I could do some testing. I love Z5 family.

Before Oreo, I want to port my old school favouirte rom to this device. (Omni Rom)

Thank you so much! I'm currently using Bernies unofficial lineage os 14.1 from the other thread. Can I just flash to this or do I need to go back to 32.4.A.1.54 first?

Flashing firmware 32.4.A.1.54 again is not required. You just need to make sure you were initially on firmware 32.4.A.1.54 before flashing Bernie's builds as well. As long as you wipe data/cache like the install instructions above suggests you should be fine.

I flashed it over and it works perfectly! Thank you!

I've decided to scrap the omnirom idea for now. Anyways a little status update on....
You guessed it, Oreo!
As stated earlier, I cannot guarantee any functionality on any android version > 7.1.2 and I'm also pretty new to Android development so no promises here. Although I have yet to debug anything, initially only WiFi, Bluetooth, Brightness, Double tap to sleep/wake is currently working. Everything else is broken -> camera, flash, sim card detection, speakers, mic, internal storage and unless I missed anything else, just assume its broken. Until/IF I fix majority of these issues I won't be releasing any builds. I'll keep you guys up to date on this thread but for now there won't be any ETAs.

For real????? Man, you are freaking awesome! Really appreciate all the work you're doing! Definitely great to see anyone making progress on this. Best of luck!

nice,i hope u can add xperia function aswell ??

Another Status Update for Oreo:
Speaker/Mic has been fixed with the Oreo build. All of the minor audio issues (reported by a logcat) have been fixed as well, which allows AudioFX to work. There are a bunch of other issues still that I'll need to fix before I can make a release.
Persisting Issues:
- No sensors are working (proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope, light etc) A lot of functionality such as adaptive brightness, auto rotate will not work until this is fixed.
- Sim detection
- Camera
- Fingerprint
What is currently working:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Fingerprint
If I can get the sensors working, I'll release a beta/test build. Camera/Sim service is definitely going to be the hardest, and will be put up last simply because its better to get most of the basic functionality working before I can start working on the difficult stuff. It's worth mentioning again that I'm not a professional android developer, I'm just a recent college graduate that is doing this as a hobby. I'm still learning how all this works so I cannot guarantee anything! So don't hold me to it, but I will give it my best.

Will you be releasing the December security update for lineage os 14.1? Once again, excellent work on your progress on 15.1 and also your 14.1 is the smoothest I've ever used.

I will try to update this in the coming week considering this is stable while the other rom isn't. Right now I don't have enough storage for both Oreo and Nougat roms (The sources use up a lot of storage).

No mount sd card (model e6833)

SD card is working fine here e6853.

It seems to be coming from a dual sim device. Can you please fetch the logs?
- Reboot device
- Connect usb cable with debug on and data transfer on.
- Open terminal:
- adb root
- adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt
- adb shell logcat > logcat.txt (close/interrupt this after a couple of seconds)
EDIT: Try new version released below.

New release - 2019-12-23
- Updated security patch to December.
- Fix some missing proprietary blobs. (camera, nfc and qti-iop)
- Add support for aanc tuning mixer controls.
- Updated outdated config files to the ones from 32.4.A.1.54.
- SD Card detection fix on dual sim devices by kv123.
@Allex1992 and @yeshuabainz or anyone else with a dual sim variant please test if the SD card detection works now. If it does I can apply the patch for lineage-15.1 and TWRP. If it doesn't work provide logs.

I think I love you. Thanks for the hard work.
For those are wondering, yes I've built the CM13 too but I have a weird and annoying bug there. For some reason Google's Location Provider causes random memory corruptions which lead to many random reboots when you're connected to a wifi network. Without a WiFi connection presence the device bootloops endlessly (we actually had a similar issue with moto msm8916 family but the problem was explicit there, here it's not). Nougat isn't affected by this bug, so that's why I'm directly publishing CM14.1 and skipping CM13
I think i love you too, very very thanks for the hard work
Does this work for the dual sim model? ("retla release channel")?
Skipped right over 6.0 and 7.0 and right to 7.1, Heh. My moto x pure isnt even on 7.1 yet. Awesome work!
What about encryption, does CM 14.1 Will encrypt when I set up the fingerprint scanner? Because I don't want encryption in my phone, I want to get the most of the SD625. Thanks.

No, I've disabled forced encryption on cm but you have to erase userdata through fastboot to get rid of encryption. Wipe data from TWRP isn't enough.

Camera stack is closed source on most of devices, motos included. On Nougat Google has done a lot of changes to the camera sources, so our prebuilt files find a new "unknown evnironment" while they expect the Marshmallow one.
There currently are some workarounds for this but nothing changes on this device; probably because of some changes made in our stack for the hasselblad camera module.
Do you think it will be possible to get moto mods working on custom roms? Is it something like the camera where we just need the blobs for 7.0 and integrate them into the kernel and all that or would it be a complicated mess to get them working at all?
Perhaps I'll be flashing this, how stable is it beside the camera and torch bugs? Are you using it as your daily driver?
Also, what gapps should I download? 64bit?
Hey bro, and Moto G 2015? ?

The Snapdragon 625 that's in our devices is 32-bit, so you wouldn't use the 64-bit GApps.

Im pretty sure our snapdragon 625 is not 32-bit, it is definitely built on aarch64. I think they just built the stock rom for armv7 or aarch32 which our processor is still compatible with. Probably because there isnt much of a reason to compile for aarch64. Taking a guess, I would think that this rom is 32-bit as well because the kernel source for our device would be based off of stock, I can easily be wrong about this though.
This is for Build Number MPN24.104-44 ? Indian Dual Sim.
Thank u so much man for working on this rom. Was regularly checking everyday for any Nougat rom and saw this. Very Happy. But I use my camera a lot so can't flash it right now. Hope the bugs get resolved pretty soon. Thanks for the rom again

It doesn't matter.
---------- Post added at 01:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:55 AM ----------
I tested it and everything works (except for the camera for reasons already stated). In order for me to get a similar experience to Moto Display I found this app and it works almost as good on CM.

The only bad thing is that you have to purchase Pro to get Wave to Wake, but it is worth it in my opinion.

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!
How to Install:
1- BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP
2 - Unlock bootloader via fastboot
3 - Flash TWRP
4 - Move Rom & Gapps into internal storage
5 - Full Wipes
6- Flash Rom & Gapps (OPTIONAL)

So ...won't come anytime soon for this tablet hah
In would rather just do builds of LOS/ whatever other ROM.
And perhaps add some stuff, fixing things...

It would be cool if we could eventually get our own device page but I dont think there is enough development yet.

Where can I find the download links for this ROM?
NVM - found it.
Looking forward to trying this ROM out.
Do you know if the Amazon Prime Video app works on this ROM? I can't seem to get it to work on the other Lineage OS or Resurection Remix ROMS for this device. The OP couldn't seem to replicate the problem either, but I bought a 2nd one of these tablets with the same problem. (It works fine on the stock ROM, too)
It's fine if you don't have Amazon Prime. If it loads up to the point where you can login, it should be good. It kept closing on me before I got to that point.
I made a post about it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/lenovo-tab-tb-x103f-running-lineage-os-t3651611
A logcat file can be found in the last post. Feel free to take a look. I'd appreciate it!
In the meantime, I'll fire up this ROM and see it for myself. Thanks for porting it!
I tested the Amazon Prime app last night. And it doesn't work on AICP, either. I'm at my wit's end on this one. Help, please?
Thanks.

Have you tried Amazon's new app on the play store? I just watched the first episode of The Tick on my tablet with lineage just fine.
Thank you for your reply! Yeah, I did try the play store version as soon as I heard it was there. Same thing. On two tablets, too.
Not sure if I installed the room wrong, but I'm not new to flashing rooms, and other apps work, even stuff like YouTube.
I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out this puzzle! Thanks again.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search the thread and couldn't seem to find the answer.
Does this ROM support F2FS? If so, which partitions should be formatted as such?
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
Any reviews yet? Is there low volume problem like on Lineage?
Thanks.
Edit:
Trying this rom for a week, and can say its very stable, without any noticeable problems. The overall performance is comparable to stock, maybe a bit faster. Volume level with Dolby Atmos installed is ok. Battery is ok after a few days, 0-1% drop after 24h of inactivity. Wifi speed is around 30mbps for me so no problems here too.
The single disagvantage I found - the rom does not support dt2w like stock.
Thank you, @superdragonpt
Edit2:
Found a bug - when wifi scanning off AND wifi automatic turn off is enabled - wifi not working after sleep.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Thanks a lot for your hardwork.
Glad to see you back to work @Stricted.
I definitely didn't mean any harm on your work.
I wish you a bright future later with this device!
Mic bug still present
Thank you Stricted for the hard work and for continuing and releasing YOUR 16.0 version.
Unfortunately in you latest built I still experience the microphone issue.
Any audio recorded (i.e. speech messages) with the phone is too silent.
I suspect the bug is related to the fact that there is a second noise cancellation mic built into the device.

Thank you Stricted.
Man. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this. Everything works just fine for me. The system feels a bit sluggish but I knew it was going to be like that. Also, The first 10 minutes while I was charging my phone, the battery was going down. And then out of nowhere it started going up again. weird. But anyways, it works great! Keep up the work! And is there a kernel that overclock the system to have less lags? Thanks again Stricted.

Yeah sorry i was on rush earlier so i had to reflash the first one cause i needed it immediatly working; i'm going to re-downlaod it and re-try and let u know.
But one question: is there a way to enable the WPS connect (for the WiFi) or it has been removed on los16?
EDIT: Well, funny thing, when i had that error i was making a clean flash, now with a dirty flash, no error...
I think it was error 7 btw.
Just to be sure.
This is fine to just update (flash) from Lineage 15.1?
Data/settings remain?

LineageOS for Nokia 7.1
About LineageOS
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for set-top boxes, smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.
LineageOS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub. Since that time, LineageOS development builds now cover more than 185 phone models with over 1.9 million active installs, having doubled its user base in the month February–March 2017 And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Hm.. intresting
Main reason behind the bugs is
Recently Nokia 7.1 Snapdragon 636 handset received Android Q update named with 4.08B & i used the vendor from that . So my job is only system & boot so blame Nokia to fix that mic bug which is related to vendor.img
Hi, this looks great! I haven't used a custom rim for a while, mostly as I was looking for something more stable and with the best possible camera quality. However, I'm struggling with stability of the stock rom after android 10 update.
Is camera quality in lineage the same as stock rom?
Is this stable enough to be day to day phone?
Is this unrooted by default? Or easy to unroot? Worried about app compatibility.
Thanks for your help and development!
Works great, only no bluetooth audio
Just flashed the latest version to my 7.1.
First try many things didn't work (wifi, sim, etc.). I think this was connected to twrp not installing correctly or something. After installing again, it works great.
Screenshot on imgur /dAiYMl0 (i can't post links)
One (I think) bug: bluetooth audio doesn't seem to work. The device connects, but there's no sound. Tried with different headphones.
One other issue: wired headphones don't seem to work for calls. They do work for music etc.
Changelog - 25-01-2020
Note - clean flash recommended
* January security patch
* Disabled force encryption
* Compiled using legacy
* Linux version 4.4.194 ( Black caps edition ) based on Official stock kernel sources 4.10C & compiled using clang 9.0.3
* Fixed mic bug during calls via headphones
* Comes with 410C vendor.img
* Added OTA Support
@Raghu varma awesome work, thank you! Shame the bootloader unlock procedure is not yet straight-forward enough so more people can enjoy it.
NFC issue
Hello, everything looks good, but NFC is not working on my Nokia 7.1 device anymore. Is there any way on how to resurrect it?

if you are coming from stock and have encryption enabled format data (Note i said format, Wiping it in twrp is not the same as formating it)
wipe cache, dalvik cache and system

I do this in my free time so bear that in mind when you notice I didn't fix known bug in next available build, Currently i work on this alone and i am not one of those kangers that just copy source and claim it as their own work,

Due to requests from some users I added signature spoofing support to the rom which allows usage of MicroG
you can simply install MinMicroG and grant it needed permissions for signature spoofing to make it work as intended

Magisk
Magisk boot images are provided in this google drive folder named beyond*lte-boot-magisk.img you can flash them on boot slot and install magisk manager, No need to worry about rebooting to recovery or not having TWRP and magisk at the same time, Just make sure you dont try to boot to system with magisk patched TWRP as that might cause issues but as long as you have stock twrp and have flashed beyond*lte-boot-magisk.img image to boot slot you are fine, Source for given kernel is available at GitHub if you want to compile kernel yourself just run source build.sh devicename e.g. source build.sh d2x, It will produce new boot image in build/ folder, To update magisk you can follow instructions given at this commit enjoy
Do note that you will have to reflash magisk boot image when updating rom
D1 (Non plus note10 4g) build might come at later date if there is enough interest for it They are up now
Here are some screenshots
Also sorry for inactivity in previous threads but there was just lack of interest for aosp on note in past few months and i didnt have enough time to keep the builds up to date If there is enough interest 18.0 builds will keep up, Enjoy
I've just installed it and it's wonderful, haven't done a lot but great so far, cameras where my main doubt mostly for the wide angle, i'll report back, thank you.

Both wide and telephoto will work (even TOF does) app has to support them tho, use something like OpenCamera and enable api2 in settings after that switch camera button will show up which will allow you to go thru lenses and for tof there is app on playstore called tof viewer, Best regards

I am happy to see that LineageOS 18 is available for my Note 10+ and thank you so much for this amazing job and sharing this with us. I am happy, because there is not so many good working available out there for this device. Of course there are a lot of GSI's around, but no one is fully working. By example Android Auto is always a struggle. I downloaded the zip already, now I need some to time to flash this all. Hopefully this weekend when my girlfriend is going to work . Just contributed you also for some coffee
Thank you for this wonderful LOS for out device
Thank you for doing this for or devices.

Hello!
May I just ask that - "S-Pen input and pressure sensitivity" listed as working. Does this mean I can use the s-pen on the screen (to draw/write/screen snips/etc?)
Apologies for the daft question. I've noted the S-pen Bluetooth issue. So I'm Just trying to understand the difference between the working vs. not working.
Thank you

Essentially the spen will work as pen and you can draw etc with it. There's no spen tools like stock so you would have to use alternatives.

Hi. Hope you are doing well.
D1 user here (N970f). If you could keep building for N970f that would be so amazing. Many developers already left this device. If it's not much trouble could you please keep building for us folks.

You can only root using patched lineage recovery. Using patched boot image hopefully will be soon,so you can retain twrp.
