Sorry if my topic is a lil weird...but I recently updated to official 7.0 via ota,but now I learnt that root can't b done on this OS build at the moment, I really need root..so I figured I downgrade to an os I can root and do so then flash a custom ROM with a newer OS..
So my question is...what OS build do I downgrade to, and how?

You should be able to downgrade and obtain root but I don't think you will be able to flash a custom ROM.

Is the new SPL cracked yet?
Since there is people like me stuck on unroot since i flashed the offical rom.
I really like the offical rom better then cynag..mod but i want to try some other roms.

There is no need to request anything. If a root method comes out, it will be posted on the forum and on the internet ASAP. It's not like only certain people get the root method because they ask for it.

I'm finally updating to 5.0 but I'm rather confused since I couldn't find answers to my questions.
My phone is rooted and I'm running a 4.4.2 rom. I'm looking to flash a 5.0 custom rom.
1. I'm coming from a 4.4 rom called purity. Is there any special procedure I have to do before flashing to a 5.0 custom rom? I know some phones need to flash additional files like a radio but I'm not sure if it's the case with the Nexus 5.
2. Do I have to flash a new bootloader? Or will flashing a custom 5.0 rom update the bootloader for me ?

1. No, you can use any radio as long as it's one for the Nexus 5.
2. No, but its recommended to update the bootloader anyways.
I have a stock unrooted Motorola nexus6 that is currently running lollipop 5.1.1 build LZY28N. I am using the AT&T straight talk sim card. I cannot get it to update to marshmallow. ive been considering unlocking the bootloader and flashing it myself, but I don't know wich build to download. from what ive gathered the LZY28N build is tmobile build. I also seen somewhere that I need to download build MRA58K. I have downloaded this build but have not proceeded because I'm not sure if it is the correct build. I want to get an official build as to not screw up my new device. I recently had a one plus one running cyanogen 12.1 and it was crashing a lot and I'm trying to prevent this from happening to this phone. anyone out there have any info for me? I know how to unlock bootloader, root,install twrp, and flash. I just need some direction as to what build to flash and have everything go as smooth as possible

I bought my z5 dual (E6683)in used last week... Now i wanted to unlock bootloader and install custom roms... My device is currently on nougat .376 firmware... Can someone plw guide me what to do now... I didnt find any nougat roms here... All roms are marshmallow based... How should i flash them.. Should i downgrade my firmware ??? And will downgrading causes bootloop ??? Pls help me
