[Q] How do I remove "Contacts" on google+ messenger?

How do I limit them to actual contacts/google+ friends?
It seems anyone who I emailed even once appears there. Well I don't want to contact them again and if I do, I'll use email.
Tried removing but I can't see any options.

This idea just hit me:
What if i create a group in my Contact say "MyPhoneContacts" , add the required ppl to that group & under Contacts in my phone i set to display only above group, this shud work. I'm gonna try that when i get home & get back to you.

seems this is a "feature" of google+ messenger (http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/google-plus-discuss/veJJQnUbobM). Google in their infinite knowledge decided for me who should appear on the people list when I open up google+ messenger.
My friends don't even show up!
beginning to think, the grass is not much greener on the other side when I decided to switch to Android. (I'm almost sure the problem persist in the iOS version but it's google's attitude that's pissing me off)

I'll try today w/o fail, else deleting my G+ account seems to be the only option

Thanks a lot, it worked for me. I can call my friends now, but for them the UI doesn't get activated. Are the servers closed again?

It seems like some people aren't getting the feature activated. But they were all able to accept my call.

i activated the call feature yesterday editing the com.whatsapp_preferences.xml and then you call me and im no able to call... is it because the server or because i did that?

For me it looks like you're trying to get popularity.
I know about this option for a time now but still not using it and of course not advertising to others.

It's voice calls, not implemented yet officially. It will be released soon.

I rarely use WhatsApp, but I thought you have been able to call and text people on there for ages? I remember a bit back, there was some excitement about a new video calling feature. Has that been implemented yet?

When you attach anything to an SMS to turns to MMS. Do you have enabled the option to send MMS?

I have enabled, it just says sending and never sends or when someone sends me a message it just won't download. I just read where someone else was having the same problem and they grabbed the Google Messenger app and it worked. So I downloaded it and can now send and receive pictures over data. The stock app would work over wifi just not with data. I don't know what is up with that.
