Youtube playback issue on my Galaxy S8. - General Questions and Answers

First off, apologies if this isn't the correct spot.
I recently decided to take advantage of the free 3 month trial for youtube red, but had to make a new google account because I already got the trial last year on my main google account.
When I play music in the background, playback stops and youtube says theres no connection, thus making me tap retry and then resume the playlist.
This never happened to me before. I am using a galaxy s8. My 4g connection is fine and wifi does this too.
Is it a problem with me having two google accounts now on this phone? Google play has my info for both accounts as does youtube. In settings, both accounts are set to sync everything.

[Q] "Connection Timed Out" trying to read play store

This is very odd. I have 3 devices that all get this. A Galaxy 4 from work, a Galaxy 3 personal, and a Nexus 7 personal. All three use the same Google account. I can go to the play store from a browser so the authentication works. It has not changed so all devices have the same credentials. I get the error regardless of using mobile or wireless to connect. Restarting the devices makes no difference. Clearing the cache and the data on the play store has no effect.
Been going on since this morning. The only common thread is the Google account so far as I can tell, but from a PC that seems to be fine. Plus, all the other account based stuff (Gmail, etc) works fine.
Ideas?

[Q]Google Nexus 5 "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly"

[Q]Google Nexus 5 "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly"
Hello,
I had an issue where I was unable to access the internet or Google Play Store so I called my provider to verify that I still had the data turned on. Eventually, we came to the part where they wanted me to sync the phone before resetting the phone to factory settings. Every time I hit SYNC NOW, I got the following error message: "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly". Almost everything has synced however I did notice that Google Play Newsstand will not sync past 08/01/14, Google + is synced to current time however both Google Play Newsstand and Google + both have a white circle with two arrows inside (I believe it is the refresh icon) next to them.
My provider asked me to call back after the system syncs but I cannot get that far. I downloaded the “Contacts Sync Fix” app (I read that it sometimes help) and that did not help. I also noticed that I rarely have more than 2 – 3 bars of signal anywhere I go and at my home, I generally get 1 – 2 bars (but other phones on the same network have 2 – 4 bars). Any suggestions?
UPDATE: I still cannot login to Google Chrome but I can get onto Google (not chrome), get into the play store and use navigation now. My sync still is not complete.

gmail does not sync

Hi!
I am getting crazy. :crying::crying:
Since about 2 weeks ago my H955(rooted and xposed) and my friend's (original) do not sync properly GMAIL anymore (actually it sync randomly only 3-4 times at day).
I tried everything: deleted the system app and installed a new one from the market, I changed the account on my phone but nothing. The problem is still there.
As u can see from the screenshoot it seems that my google account sync randomly the google apps.
Do you have any suggestion?
PS: I am writing here cuz I tried my account in other 2 phones and it works like a charm and we have the same problem if we use another google account on ur phones.
I just noticed that hangout has the same problem. This morning I found a chat from a friend of mine of yesterday morning
Same here
I've got the same thing going on. I've tried everything I've found online and nothing has any effect. My G Flex 2 is unlocked and rooted but on the stock rom. It's not my account because it works fine in my old Nexus 4, and other Android devices I use.
Has anyone made any headway with this?

I had a similar issue with hangouts for a while, but recently fixed it when I went around and logged out of all my devices, and logged back into just a few of the important ones for hangouts.
I think one big issue was when I got messages and a shared device was on and hangouts running, it "saw" the notification first and never went through to the rest of my devices.
try to remove and re add the account 2-3 times .
try to clear data from google related apps gmail playstore....
maybe these fixes also resolves your issues https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-solve-google-play-store-errors
Fixed!
Thank you so much! I found a fix on that androidpit article. Specifically I followed these steps:
Delete your Google Play Store data in Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store > Clear data. Delete data from Google Services Framework as well (note: this will assign a new Google ID to your device, as if you had factory reset it, meaning your Google apps may temporarily act up afterward).
Delete your Google account on the device, reboot your phone and re-add your Google account in Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Google Account.

General slowdown on galaxy s8 +

Hello.
For several months, on my Galaxy S8 +, I suffered slowdowns on several levels:
update badges indicating the number of unread messages is only long after having passed a message or other read / unread
check for system updates with a result return after several minutes, see tens of minutes
calls of certain applications on click of the notification (google Play, system update ...) does not display the application immediately
installing apps via Google Play is long after download, 100% OK download but install after several mintues
This only happens from my home, so may be related to geolocation.
I tried lots of actions but nothing works, among other things erase all the data and caches of several Google applications:
Google locks framework
Google play store
Goolge
Google Play services for instant apps
Google Play Services
Badge Provider
etc ...
I also tried other solutions like:
Reset the S8 +
Delete and re create my Google Account
Delete Samsung account
Disable Smart Lock function
Switch to airplane mode, correct the problem for updating badges but obviously, can not check Gogle Play updates or System because no network
Disable WiFi only, problem persists
Disable GPS only, problem persists
Disable mobile data only, problem persists
Disable the IP V6 of my Box (BBox)
Call Google and Samsung without success
The only 2 actions that have a positive result are:
To uninstall all Google updates. It worked fine initially but unfortunately recently, after the update is done, in beta mode or not, the problem appears again.
Disable Bluetooth only, and the magic, after a few minutes, it works again and it is in time. Concern, more access to connected objects
For information, I use a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier connected watch with apk Samsung Gear and Samsung Health.
I did not push the tests beyond due to lack of time. For example, uninstalling some applications.
This post is a bit long, but it is the result of several months of investigation.
While navigating, on various forums, I note that I am not an isolated case and that several people are concerned of loan or by far. I tried to do a synthesizer.
Would you already know of such a problem and if so, do you have a solution, tracks, suggestions?
In advance, thank you to all those who will take some of their time to help me solve this problem.

Devuce ID and Play Music

As a bit of flashaholic I have now twice ran into the problem that Google Play Music account stops saying too many registered devices.
Fine, I'll delete one, but wait Google out a limit on 10 deletions per year (go figure)
3 days later having actually spoken to somebody at google support by phone (really not a bot!!) they reset the account and all is good.
Anybody else?
Would saving the old device ID and restore it avoid the issue?
Thanks
